Tucker Carlson Interviews Obama Accuser Larry Sinclair

After 15 years of being dismissed as a lying con artist, Larry Sinclair, the man who claimed in 2008 to have had sex with Barack Obama while he was an Illinois state senator, has been given a chance to clear the air.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed in a recent interview that he had interviewed Sinclair and believed everything he said.

“In 2008, it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack,” he told podcast host Adam Carolla last week. “I talked to Larry Sinclair about it. Definitely it happened.” Carlson acknowledged that Sinclair has a sketchy background and a record of deception, but insisted that his story about Obama is the truth.

“Larry Sinclair has been in and out of prison 40 years ago, he’s got a criminal record by definition and he’s poor, he’s got a disordered life, he’s missing a tooth,” Carlson said. “I think he has a record of deception but this story if you listen to it in detail, is clearly true.”

He added: “It’s not going to change the world that Barack Obama likes dudes, I think this was well-known.”

Carlson’s conversation with Sinclair will air on X Wednesday night. Here is a teaser:

In a video posted on X, Sinclair predicted that the event will be remembered by Americans “for quite some time.”

“Everything, and I mean everything, gets put out on the table,” he said.

Sinclair said he would be participating in a live space on X after the interview to discuss the interview and shoot down the “lies, distortions and misrepresentations” about him that continue to be rehashed on social media.

“You know what? If you can’t accept it—and a lot of you won’t!—it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t change the facts, no matter how much you try yo distort them and misrepresent them, it won’t change,” he said.

The interview will air Wednesday at 6 p.m. Eastern.
