Tucker Carlson: In 2008 It Was ‘Really Clear That Barack Obama Was Having Sex With Men and Smoking Crack’

Tucker Carlson asserted in a recent interview that “in 2008, it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack,” but the media failed to report on it because the Obama campaign threatened to refuse access to the candidate if they did.

Carlson matter-of-factly commented on Obama’s alleged penchant for drugs and gay sex during an appearance on the Adam Carolla Show, Wednesday.

The former Fox News host brought up Larry Sinclair, who alleged in 2008 that he and Obama had done drugs and had sex in a limousine and hotel room in Chicago in November of 1999.

“A guy came forward, Larry Sinclair, and said ‘I’ll sign an affidavit’ and he did, ‘I’ll do a lie detector’ and he did, ‘I smoked crack with Barack Obama and had sex with him,’  that was obviously true,” Carlson said.

Sinclair at the time was roundly dismissed in the media as a con artist with a long rap sheet “with a specialty in crimes involving deceit.”

Public records and court filings reveal that he has a 27-year criminal record, with a specialty in crimes involving deceit. The record includes forgery charges in two states, one of which drew Sinclair a 16-year jail sentence. The Pueblo County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office also has an outstanding warrant for Sinclair’s arrest for forging an acquaintance’s signature and stealing her tax refunds.

“It is what it is,” said Sinclair’s spokesman, Montgomery Blair Sibley at the time. “He’s not hiding from it, he’s not denying it.”

Carlson suggested however that the media knew that what Sinclair was alleging was true, but didn’t report on it due to threats from the Obama campaign.

“Nobody reported it not because they were squeamish about sex or drugs but because the Obama campaign said anyone who reports on this gets no access to the Obama campaign,” he explained. “So, they didn’t report on it.”

Carlson added:  “The amount of lying in the media about it was unbelievable. This happens all the time up and down government.”

When asked by Carolla if he really believed “the Larry Sinclair thing” really happened, Carlson was adamant in his response.

“I talked to Larry Sinclair about it. Definitely it happened,” he insisted, going on to acknowledge Sinclair’s sketchy background.

“Larry Sinclair has been in and out of prison 40 years ago, he’s got a criminal record by definition and he’s poor, he’s got a disordered life, he’s missing a tooth,” Carlson said. “I think he has a record of deception but this story if you listen to it in detail, is clearly true.”

He added: “It’s not going to change the world that Barack Obama likes dudes, I think this was well-known.”

Throughout the Obama years, many journalists on the right predicted in private conversations that “the truth would come out” after Obama left office. It took a few years, but a sliver of that alleged truth appeared to come out in the form of a 1982 letter Obama sent to his ex-girlfriend in which he admitted that he regularly indulged in gay sex fantasies.

In the letter to Alex McNear, Obama, then 21,  confessed that he “loves making love to men daily, but in the imagination,” according to the previously-redacted portion of the letter obtained by the New York Post. “In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life,” Obama wrote.

Carlson suggested that the letter was a not-so-subtle admission of Obama’s homosexual proclivities.

“Barack Obama said so himself in a letter to his girlfriend. That’s Barack Obama’s business. I am not attacking him for liking dudes,” he told Carolla.

In June of 2008, Larry Sinclair held a press conference in Washington D.C. where he admitted that he was a “former recreational drug user and trafficker, a convicted felon for crimes of forgery, bad checks and theft of checks,” and that he had been “convicted and served time in prison,” for various criminal offenses committed over the years between 1980 and 1986, “in Arizona, Florida and Colorado.”

Sinclair told reporters that he was in Chicago to attend the graduation of a friend’s son and had hired the services of “Five Star Limousine” for two days. He said he asked the limo driver, whom he named,  if he knew anyone “who would like to socialize and show me Chicago.” The driver, Sinclair alleged, suggested his friend, Barack Obama fit the bill and set up a meeting between the two at a bar. Sinclair said he gave Obama $250 to buy some cocaine because he was feeling tired and that Obama had used a cell phone to set up the deal. Sinclair alleged that after he had snorted a couple of lines of cocaine, Obama produced “a glass cylinder pipe and a packet of crack cocaine from his pocket and proceeded to smoke it. While Obama was allegedly smoking the crack, Sinclair said he performed a sex act on the then senator. The next day, Sinclair said, Obama came to his hotel room uninvited and they engaged in the same activities as the night before.

Sinclair was asked why he was only making the accusations now, when he had known about Obama’s proclivities since 1999. In response, Sinclair said that he didn’t really care back then because Obama was a state senator and he wasn’t a resident of Illinois. “At the time I met Senator Obama, I didn’t know he was actually in Illinois politics,” he said. Sinclair told reporters that it wasn’t until Obama gave his keynote speech at the Democrat National Convention in 2004 that he knew who he was.

Sinclair claimed that he was prompted to come forward in 2008 because Obama had claimed that he had given up drugs in college, and he knew otherwise.

In answer to a question about any financial support he had received, Sinclair stated that he was not connected to Republicans, Democrats, or any other party, but had received some small donations for his travel expenses to the press conference. Sinclair told reporters that he was living entirely on Disability for an injury he sustained in 2021, and on Social Security.

When asked why anyone should believe him given his criminal record, Sinclair said he didn’t care whether or not people believed him, he just wanted them to hear him.

“I can’t tell you what to believe,” he explained. “I’m saying, here’s the information, look at it, do your own research, but do it based on the facts.”

Right after his press conference, U.S. Marshals hauled Sinclair off in handcuffs on an out-of-state warrant.
