As the Biden family’s corruption scandals heat up, an increasing number of Republicans are calling for Joe Biden to be impeached, including Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee.
During an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Jordan said impeachment was definitely on the table.
“We’re driven by the facts and the Constitution. If the facts show there were high crimes, misdemeanors, bribery, treason, whatever—if the facts show there’s a crime there that warrants impeachment, our duty compels us,” Jordan said. “But first we have to first get all the facts on the table.”
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) last week attempted to force a vote on her resolution to impeach Joe Biden over his administration’s border and immigration policies, but the effort failed after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) urged fellow Republicans to hold off on impeachment for the time being.
McCarthy confirmed to reporters last Wednesday that he opposed an impeachment vote right now because “prematurely” pursuing it would “undercut” current investigations into the Biden clan’s corrupt activities.
“It’s very serious,” he said of the Constitutional remedy. “That’s why I don’t want to do anything that harms the investigation we’re going through right now.”
While the GOP investigates, evidence against Biden is “piling up,” Jordan said.
Whistleblower documents released last week revealed that federal prosecutors repeatedly interfered on Hunter Biden’s behalf during a probe into the younger Biden’s taxes.
The whistleblowers testified that from 2014-2019, Hunter Biden personally received 8.3 Million Dollars from Ukraine, China, and Romania and didn’t pay taxes on the income, but the Biden Department of Justice attempted to block the IRS agents investigating the tax violations. In total, Hunter Biden and associates received $17.3 million from the three countries, according to the whistleblowers.
And according to one bombshell document, Joe Biden was apparently in the room when Hunter sent a threatening WhatsApp message to Chinese businessman Henry Zhao demanding to know why Zhao had not held up his side of an undisclosed deal.
Smelling blood in the water, the usually Biden-friendly White House press badgered White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre with a barrage of tough questions last week regarding the whistleblower allegations and documents.
Here is 3 minutes and 35 seconds of Karine Jean-Pierre refusing to answer any questions about Hunter Biden.

“They’re piling up: 150 suspicious activity reports, 20 different companies they’re running money through, all kinds of Biden family members getting paid,” Jordan told Bartiromo. “Now credible whistleblowers coming forward with more allegations.”

On “Fox and Friends” Monday, McCarthy said that if the IRS whistleblower allegations are true, he’ll start impeachment proceedings of Attorney General Merrick Garland by July 6.

We need to get to the facts, and that includes reconciling these clear disparities. U.S. Attorney David Weiss must provide answers to the House Judiciary Committee.
If the whistleblowers' allegations are true, this will be a significant part of a larger impeachment inquiry into… https://t.co/Q3LLeJhW85
