MSNBC Guest Says She Wants to ‘Make Sweet Love’ With SCOTUS Leaker, and Then ‘Joyfully Abort’ Fetus

A guest on MSNBC “joked” that she would like to “make sweet love” to the person who leaked the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade opinion, and if the leaker is Republican, “joyfully abort our fetus.”

The guest, Laurie Kilmartin, was appearing on Ayman Mohyeldin’s MSNBC show on Sunday when she made the gross and inappropriate remarks.

Kilmartin, a 56-year-old comedian and writer for Conan O’Brien, is a single mother who reportedly often jokes about her son and motherhood.

Mohyeldin asked the comic if she agrees with him that Republicans use the Supreme Court to pass legislation that is too unpopular to survive the democratic process.

“Do you agree that this is going against the undemocratic will, but this is the only way Republicans can achieve this?” Mohyeldin asked. Rather than answer the question, Kilmartin launched into her bizarre and unfunny bit about what she would like to do with the leaker.

“Here’s my feeling about the leaker. I would like to find out who the leaker is, so I could make sweet love to that person, because that person is a hero to me. Okay?” she began. “And if the leaker—a lot of people are saying it could be a conservative—if the leaker is a Republican, and if I get pregnant during our lovemaking, I will joyfully abort our fetus, and let them know.”

Mohyeldin and the other guests erupted in giggles over the suggestion.

“I don’t know if that answered your question,” Kilmartin said.  “I probably didn’t.”

The host noted that it was “a little off-topic.”

The leaked opinion draft has sparked outrage among Democrats and protests against the court, and Catholic churches, as well as the firebombing of a pro-life clinic. There has been speculation among Democrats that the leaker could be a conservative, but after some extensive research, Human Events publisher Will Chamberlain has posited that the culprit is a passionate abortion advocate who clerks for liberal Justice Breyer. In a recent interview, former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly said she also believes the leaker is a “hardcore” abortion advocate who clerks for one of the liberal justices. Kelly said the whole thing “reeks” of a twenty-something trying to “get public sentiment ginned up to scare the justices from doing what they find to be the move.” This, Kelly noted, is “literally obstruction of justice.”

Later in the MSNBC segment, Kilmartin reportedly urged elderly Democrats to starve themselves to death over abortion rights.

“Well, this is controversial, but I think that every Democratic member of Congress who’s over the age of 87 should go on a hunger strike for abortion rights, because let’s face it, they don’t have much longer anyway,” she said, adding that Democrats “go out in a blaze of glory” like Bobby Sands, a member of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) who died while on a hunger strike while imprisoned at HM Prison Maze in Northern Ireland.

“Be the Bobby Sands of abortion,” she said.

The Irish Republican Army (IRA) is a designated a terrorist organization in the United Kingdom. Sands was arrested after helping to plan the 1976 bombing of the Balmoral Furniture Company in Dunmurry, an urban townland in Belfast.

The host apparently found this “controversial” suggestion humorous too, and chuckled in response.
