Joe Biden’s ambassador to the United Nations told a left-wing “civil rights” organization on Wednesday that America’s “founding documents and principles” are tainted with “white supremacy.”
UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield told Al Sharpton’s radical shakedown group, the National Action Network, that if the United States is going to join the UN’s Human Rights Council, the nation must acknowledge that it is still a white supremacist society, like every other society on earth.
The U.S. Senate voted in February to confirm Thomas-Greenfield, an apologist for the Chinese Communist Party, on a 78 to 20 vote. All 20 Senators who voted against the nomination were Republicans. Another 26 GOP lawmakers joined Democrats in confirming her nomination.
The UN Human Rights Council is notorious for including among its members some of the globe’s worst abusers of human rights, such as China, Cuba, Venezuela and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and for ganging up on Israel. In 2017, in fact, the council declared Israel to be the world’s number one human rights violator.
Under President Trump, the United States in 2018 pulled out of the UN Human Rights Council, with then-UN Ambassador Nikki Haley calling it “an organization that is not worthy of its name.”
Naturally, the Biden administration is eager to rejoin the deeply flawed council.
“We announce our intention to seek reelection to that body so we can advance our most Democratic values around the globe,” Thomas-Greenfield said in her address to NAN.
“Of course when we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale, we have to approach them humility,” the ambassador added, gearing up for her attack on America’s founding.
“We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union, and have been so since the beginning, and every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect, and more just,” she said.
Thomas-Greenfield noted that she has already used her perch as UN ambassador to share on the international stage stories about how she had “personally experienced one of America’s greatest imperfections.”
“I’ve seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles,” she said.
Thomas-Greenfield continued, saying that “racism is not the problem for the person who experiences it,” but is the problem of the racist and “the society that produces the racist.”
She stressed that in today’s world, “that’s every society.”
The ambassador went on to blame white supremacy for the “senseless killings of George Floyd, Brianna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, and so many other black Americans,” and cited an alleged “spike in hate crimes over the past several years.”
Thomas-Greenfield forgot to mention that in the United States, black Americans are 24 percent less likely to be killed by police than white Americans even though blacks commit the most violent crimes. What’s more, a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

Incredibly, she went on to advance the false narrative that white supremacy is responsible for the recent spike in hate crimes against Asian Americans, (which are perpetrated mainly by black Americans).
Thomas-Greenfield ominously vowed to make “racial equity” the main focus of her tenure as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
