Joe Biden Denies Honoring ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ on Easter: ‘I Didn’t Do That’

Joe Biden on Monday said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) was “uninformed” when he criticized the White House for officially recognizing a “Transgender Day of Visibility” on Easter Sunday. “I didn’t do that,” Biden told reporters.

Americans of all political persuasions and religions were appalled by a White House proclamation honoring “the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans.”  The Trans Day of Awareness message, signed by Biden, also states: “I am proud that my Administration has stood for justice from the start, working to ensure that the LGBTQI+ community can live openly, in safety, with dignity and respect.”

On Saturday, Johnson blasted the White House for banning the use of religious symbols during its Easter egg art contest, and honoring the Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday.

“The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Johnson wrote on X. “Banning sacred truth and tradition—while at the same time proclaiming Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Day’—is outrageous and abhorrent. The American people are taking note.”

A member of the White House press asked Biden about the speaker’s criticism during the Easter Egg Roll at the White House, Monday.

“Speaker Johnson called it outrageous that Easter Sunday was transgender day of visibility, what do you say to Speaker Johnson?” the reporter inquired.

“He’s thoroughly uninformed,” Biden replied.

“Uninformed how?” the reporter asked.

“I didn’t do that,” Biden responded.

On Easter Sunday however, Biden posted a message honoring “Transgender Day of Visibility” on X, writing, “I have a simple message to all trans Americans: I see you. You are made in the image of God, and you’re worthy of respect and dignity.”

In a strong statement posted on X, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America condemned “the scandalous proclamation” and joined Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the former prefect of the Vatican’s highest doctrine office, and other Catholic clerics in calling for the excommunication of Biden from the Catholic Church.

“The unprecedented and scandalous proclamation of March 31 as ‘Transgender Visibility Day’ by self-styled U.S. President Joe Biden — who dares to declare himself a Catholic — constitutes a most serious offense to God and to millions of Catholics and Christians in America and around the world, before which it is impossible not to react with due firmness,” Vigano wrote.

I urge American citizens and their representatives in government to recognize the total unworthiness of Joe Biden to hold an institutional position, which it is well known that he used fraudulent and manipulative action to achieve in the 2020 Presidential Election. I ask my Brethren in the Episcopate and priests to recognize that Joe Biden has incurred latæ sententiæ excommunication, and as such must be expelled from the churches and not admitted to Communion. I call on Catholics and all Christians to pray that, on this solemn Easter Day, the Risen Lord will have mercy on the United States of America and put an end to the onslaught of the infernal forces unleashed today more than ever before.

The Bishop added: “Luciferian hatred of God and our Lord Jesus Christ can no longer be hidden or denied. This is the revelation unveiled before us, which the servants of darkness provocatively mock by celebrating perversions and vices on the very holy Day when we honor the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christians are progressively banished from civil society and considered a threat to the subversive project of the New World Order, while a minority of the vicious and perverted claim to erect their deviations as the universal norm. Here is the “visibility” of Biden and the woke ideology, celebrating a macabre mad dance to the abyss.”

The Biden White House defended itself by noting that Transgender Day of Visibility falls on March 31, and this year it just happened to fall on Easter Sunday. In previous years, of course, it fell during Lent, the solemn 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday.

The Biden White House was the first administration to officially honor the day on March 31, 2021.

Transgender Day of Visibility was invented by radical trans-activist Rachel Crandall-Crocker 15 years ago to celebrate those who identify as the opposite sex.

The White House also claimed that the rules barring religious symbols from being used in the egg contest are longstanding and were enforced by Republican and Democrat administrations alike.

“*Fyi on all the misleading swirl re White House and Easter: the American Egg Board flyer’s standard non-discrimination language requesting artwork has been used for the last 45 years, across all Dem & Republican Admins—for all WH Easter Egg Rolls —incl previous Administration’s,” Elizabeth Alexander, the communications director for first lady Jill Biden, wrote on X.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis commented on the Trans Day of Awareness controversy when asked about it Monday.

“He says he didn’t do it!” DeSantis exclaimed. “Which raises the question. Either he’s not being honest with the public, or he really didn’t know what was going on.”

“Who’s running the presidency?” he added. “Is it a bunch of woke, 20 something White House staffers who put out this drivel whenever they want? I don’t know who’s in charge. The fact that he’s not owning up to it – either way, it’s bad.”

DeSantis went on to describe his administration’s Easter Egg hunt at the Florida Governor’s mansion.

“We had a big Easter egg hunt,” he said. “Kids didn’t even change when they got back from church.”

The governor added: “It’s the most important, for Christians, holiday on the calendar.”
