Biden Administration’s ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ is One of Over 50 Pro-LGBTQ Celebrations

The Biden Administration’s declaration of a “Transgender Visibility Day” on the same date as Easter Sunday has drawn widespread backlash, as well as greater scrutiny of the other pro-LGBTQ days of observation created by the administration.

Breitbart reports that there are pro-LGBTQ days in every month this year, with multiple days created by such far-left groups as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and copied by the administration.

Among the plethora of days of observance is “No Name-Calling Week,” which took place from January 16th to the 22nd. February 7th was “National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day,” while February 28th was “HIV Is Not A Crime Awareness Day.” March 10th is “National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day,” while March 20th is “National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.” The month of March is then capped off with “International Transgender Day of Visibility” on the 31st, the same day as Easter Sunday.

Later dates in the year include “International Asexuality Day” on April 6th, “National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day” on April 10th, and “National Transgender HIV Testing Day” and “Nonbinary Parents Day,” both on April 18th. Continuing into May are days such as “International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia” on May 17th, “National Asian and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day” on May 19th, and “Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility” on May 24th.

Throughout the remainder of the year are such days as “Queer Youth of Faith Day” on June 30th, “International Drag Day” on July 16th, “Gay Uncles Day” on August 14th, “National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day” on September 18th, “National Coming Out Day” on October 11th, “Transgender Parent Day” on November 3rd, and “World AIDS Day” on December 1st, among many others.

Despite strong criticisms in response to the declaration of “Transgender Day of Visibility” on the same day as Easter, the Biden Administration only doubled down on its support for the day with multiple social media posts. The Biden Administration was also ridiculed for its crackdown on religious imagery in the annual Easter art competition, with many pointing out Easter’s inherently religious nature. These moves are widely seen as the latest in the Biden Administration’s efforts to crack down on Christianity and instead voice its support for secular beliefs over religious ones.
