Hunter Biden’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski went scorched earth on Joe Biden, his son Hunter, his brother Jim, the regime media and House Democrats during the Republican-led House Oversight Committee’s impeachment hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday.
In his brutally frank opening statement, Bobulinski also accused Hunter and Jim Biden of telling “flat-out lies” when they were interviewed by the Committee last month, and urged Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) to hold them accountable for their perjury.
“If there is no evidence of corruption—if Joe’s conduct and the conduct of his family were fully legal and proper—then why are they so dishonest about it?” Bobulinski asked. “Not just slight misrepresentations of fact but deep untruths about the entire corrupt enterprise.”
Bobulinski, a businessman and U.S. Navy veteran, began his opening statement by describing the two competing narratives surrounding the Biden impeachment inquiry: “A false one being pushed by Joe Biden, a serial liar and fabulist now under this impeachment investigation for public corruption; his brother Jim Biden, a 75 year old man who cannot keep his lies straight, including under oath; and his son Hunter Biden, a chronic drug addict facing two indictments with twelve counts.”
“You also have before you the truth, confirmed by multiple Biden family business partners over many years and backed up by mountains of irrefutable evidence, including text messages, emails, documents and recordings,” he added.
Bobulinski said he came to the attention of “the Biden family enterprise” years ago because of his various successful business ventures.
“However, what they have done is repugnant to me,” he testified. The whistleblower initially came forward in October of 2020 to warn the nation ahead of the presidential election that Joe Biden had lied when he claimed to have nothing to do with his son’s shady overseas influence peddling operation.
“I am here today because I am a patriot and a truth-teller,” he told the Committee.
Bobulinski mocked the regime’s phony “democracy” narrative and called out two Democrat lawmakers and Hunter’s lawyer by name.
We keep hearing from certain corners that our “democracy is at risk” and that “democracy is on the ballot in 2024,” yet the same people preaching this mantra, who know better, continue to lie directly to the American people without hesitation or remorse. Representatives Dan Goldman and Jamie Raskin, both lawyers, and Mr. Goldman a former prosecutor with the Southern District of New York, will continue to lie today in this hearing and then go straight to the media to tell more lies. Hunter Biden’s defense attorney, Abbe Lowell, weaponizes letters to Congress to try to smear my name and misstate the cold hard facts in an attempt to save his powerfully connected client – and his father. I challenge Mr. Lowell to make those claims on national television so he can be held accountable for his lies.
Bobulinski blasted Joe Biden’s defenders for their “outrageous dishonesty and vile attempts at assassinating my character.” The former Naval officer added that he despises “this world of partisan outrage and insanity,” and called the Democrats behavior “as predictable [as it is] disgusting.”
Also testifying Wednesday was former Biden associate Jason Galanis, who spoke via Zoom from the Alabama prison where he is serving a 14-year prison sentence for securities fraud.
The Democrats’ called as their witness, Lev Parnas, a Soviet-born American businessman and former associate of Rudy Giuliani who is a critic of the impeachment allegations.
During his opening statement, Bobulinski made clear that he knew from his “direct personal experience” that Joe Biden was “the Brand” being sold by the Biden family.
“His family’s foreign influence peddling operation – from China to Ukraine and elsewhere – sold out to foreign actors who were seeking to gain influence
and access to Joe Biden and the United States government,” he explained, adding that Biden knew exactly what was going on.
“Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an active, aware enabler who met with business associates such as myself to
further the business, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability,” he testified.
Bobulinski laid out specific lies he claims were made by Hunter Biden during his transcribed interview to the House Oversight Committee on February 28.
He recounted three key examples of Biden’s alleged perjury:
1. In Hunter’s transcript (Page 42), he states, “I officially began to do work for CEFC when the – when I received a retainer from CEFC in early – or spring of 2017.” Why, then, did Hunter yell at CEFC Executive Director Zang in front of his entourage as I sat right next to him in New York City on Sunday May 7th, 2017? Hunter was adamant that he was owed the rest of the $20 Million CEFC had committed to paying for the work he had claimed he had done in prior years.
2. On Page 48 of his transcript, Hunter is asked, “He’s never interacted with any of your business associates. Is that correct?” The “He’s” is a reference to Joe Biden. Hunter responds, “Yes”. Hunter arranged the meeting between his father and me at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on May 2, 2017. The sole reason Hunter wanted me to meet his father was because I was the CEO of Sinohawk, the Bidens’ partnership with CEFC. I was a business associate. In his transcript, Hunter confirms that that meeting with Joe took place and incriminates his Uncle Jim for perjury by confirming it.
3. Hunter lied to the Committee about important details concerning his money demands and threats to CEFC on July 30 and July 31, 2017. He leveraged his father’s presence next to him in that infamous text in order to strong-arm CEFC into paying Hunter immediately and in the process defrauded the partners of Sinohawk Holdings LLC and Oneida Holdings LLC. The threat worked, as a few days later the Chinese wired $5 million dollars into a company of which Hunter owned 50%. It’s important to remember that CEFC considered this money an interest-free loan to the “Biden family”, and planned to send more. I have the email from CEFC to prove it.
Bobulinski testified that “Jim Biden also lied extensively throughout his transcribed interview before the Oversight Committee on February 21” and noted that Hunter Biden’s own testimony “confirmed that Jim Biden perjured himself.”
1. Jim has been selling “plausible deniability” for so many years he can’t tell truth from the lies. On Page 100 of his transcript, Jim is asked: “Do you recall having a
meeting with Hunter Biden, and Tony Bobulinski and Joe Biden?” Jim’s response: “Absolutely not”.
Bobulinski said the Committee “was so shocked by his perjury that they asked him the same question multiple times” and each time Jim Biden denied meeting with him.
After they tried to ask the question again in a slightly different way: “It’s your testimony here today that meeting never took place?” Jim responds, “Yes sir”, “that I was present for”. The Committee tried again: “Do you recall whether you were at the bar with Hunter Biden, Tony Bobulinski and Joe Biden?” Jim responds: “That I know did not happen”. Jim adds further, “But my brother was never there”. On Page 134, delusional Jim Biden reiterates his untruthful answer again after the Committee showed him messages confirming I met with Joe Biden, Jim Biden states, “Joe Biden never met with Tony Bobulinski”.
“That is just a flat-out lie,” Bobulinski testified, adding that it was just one of many of his lies.
“Hunter Biden, Robert Walker, James Gilliar and Jim Biden asked me to step in as CEO of the business,” he noted. “I did not ask them. I tried to walk away from Sinohawk multiple times only to be convinced to stay on, including on one occasion by Jim Biden himself.”
Bobulinski told the Committee he was prepared to discuss all of the Bidens’ egregious lies in detail, and went on to describe a few more.
“I hope this Committee will hold them accountable for their perjury before you,” Bobulinski said.
“How are the American people supposed to get the unvarnished facts and truth when the son and brother of Joe Biden are willing to perjure themselves to protect the
family?” he asked.
Chairman Comer hinted on Sunday that criminal referrals could be coming for the Bidens following today’s hearing.
“I hope the American people will pay close attention to this hearing,” Bobulinski said. “I also hope they will understand that some Members of this Committee will engage in absurd attacks and efforts to try to deflect attention from the facts I will present by questioning my integrity, my patriotic duty to my country and my sole focus on simply telling the truth. Don’t fall for their disingenuous smokescreens and gaslighting.”
Bobulinski accused Joe Biden of “blatantly lying to the American people” about all of the meetings, phone calls, emails and handshakes he has had with the Biden family’s U.S. and foreign business partners, including players from some of America’s most challenging adversaries such as China and Russia, as well as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania and others.”
“If he were doing nothing wrong, why go through this insane exercise of obstructing and denying obvious facts?” he asked.
The American people know why: because the Bidens are guilty of foreign influence peddling, and they can’t even get their stories coordinated. I have been publicly presenting the same truthful statements for almost four years now. It is interesting that the “mainstream” media refuses to cover what I have to say and that no one from the Biden family – whose corrupt behavior I have consistently and publicly called out – has ever sued me for defamation.
The Bidens and their lawyers, along with liars like Mr. Raskin, Mr. Goldman and a host of other Democrats, emphatically claim that I lied to the FBI. That is a criminal offense. The FBI interviewed me almost four years ago. Why haven’t they charged me? Because I obviously didn’t lie to the FBI and the claim is patently absurd and defamatory.
Bobulinski ended his statement by taking a brutal shot at his former business partner.
“Hunter Biden was invited by this Committee to tell his side and the Biden family’s side of the story,” he said. “Unfortunately for him and the Biden family, their story is one of profound corruption, lies and perjury. It is no surprise that he is a no-show today, running like a coward from this opportunity to answer simple questions in public – a chance he was adamant about having and long said he wanted.”

Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Ala.) questioned Bobulinski about business meetings he’d had with both Joe and Jim Biden and the “material inconsistencies” between their testimonies.

Bobulinski told Rep. Jim Jordan that he is 1,000 percent sure that Joe Biden is “the Big Guy” who gets 10 percent of the family’s grift money, per Hunter Biden’s emails. During his deposition, Hunter claimed he didn’t know who “the Big Guy” referred to.

Later in the hearing, a skeptical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez asked Bobulinski to list the crimes he “personally witnessed” Joe Biden commit.
Tony Bobulinski listed several violations of corruption statutes, including RICO, conspiracy, and the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which constitute crimes..
AOC then snidely claimed that “RICO is not a crime, it—is—a—cat-e-gory.”
“HINT: RICO is a federal law codified at 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68,” The Oversight Republican X Account noted.
