Trump-supporting truck drivers are reportedly boycotting New York City after a Manhattan judge ordered former President Donald Trump to pay $355 million because of his business practices. Friday’s decision follows a New York jury’s decision last month to award left-wing writer E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million in damages in her defamation suit against Trump.
The two decisions have outraged conservatives, including many truckers.
Chicago Ray, a trucker with over 244,000 followers on X, said on Friday that he was hearing that truckers were planning to boycott deliveries to the Big Apple starting on Monday.
“I don’t know how far across the country this is, or how many truckers are going to start denying loads going to New York City, but I’ll tell you what, you f— around and find out,” he said in a viral video posted on social media.
NEW: Truckers allegedly plan on stopping their shipments in New York City after Judge Engoron’s ruling against Trump.
“[Truckers] gonna start refusing loads in New York City starting on Monday.”

In another X post, the trucker wrote, “my advice for New Yorkers is start stocking up … there’s millions of Truckers for Trump millions of us … leave Trump TF alone.”
Former President Trump posted Chicago Ray’s video on Truth Social Sunday, saying: “Such an honor to have so many Great Patriots on the side of freedom!”
Trump added “Joe Biden ’s Unfair and Dangerous Weaponization of Law Enforcement is a serious threat to Democracy. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Trump just posted my video and picture on his Truth Social account, pretty fucken cool…

“I’m just one of the many millions of Truckers who believe in God and love this Country,” Chicago Ray said in a subsequent post. “I stand with Trump, bc Trump stands with me. Truckers for Trump ain’t just a slogan it’s real.”

Chicago Ray said he took down his initial message after it went viral on TikTok because it upset his grandson.
“No one’s got to me … I heard what drivers were saying and I’m hearing some of that today,” he wrote. “I ain’t scared of shit. I grew up in Chicago. I stand with Trump 💯% Truckers for Trump.”
He added: “Drivers can make their own decisions based on their families and their careers… I worked for a place for 18 years and I quit em in one day and had this job b4 I got to my car…. i ain’t the leader of any movement… I’m my own man period…”
I took that video down from Friday bc it went viral and my Grandson seen it on Tik Tok

On Monday, Chicago Ray gave an update on the boycott chatter he was hearing.
“I’m in Wisconsin and I’m hearing guys refusing loads,” he wrote, adding “this could take longer than a week. My advice for New Yorkers is start stocking up… there’s millions of Truckers for Trump millions of us .. leave Trump TF alone.
“This is real, man,” he said. “If this goes on longer than a week man, New York City better start stocking up.”

In a subsequent post, Chicago Ray wrote: “New Yorkers have no one to blame but themselves for Truckers refusing loads to New York City… no one.” He added: “Friendly words of advice start stocking up.”
“Fact is ~ Donald J Trump built the New York City skyline and this is the thanks he gets from all of you New Yorkers …. FAFO,” he said in yet another post Monday.
A few other truckers have posted messages about the boycott, including Jennifer Hernandez, who said if only 10 percent of truckers joined the boycott it could have a devastating effect on NYC.
Jennifer Hernandez joins the NYC Trucker Boycott…
If 10% joined the movement, it could cripple NYC.

Social media influencer “The Daddy Twins” predicted that the trucker boycott of NYC was just the beginning. He said other blue cities like Washington DC, Chicago, and Baltimore may start experiencing similar boycotts.
Still picking up steam. This boycott New York isn’t going away. Only getting stronger. #TruckersForTrump #ChicagoRay #Truckers #Truckers4Trump #BoycottNY #Truckerproteste #boycott #NYC #ericadams #thedaddytwins @TheDaddyTwins pic.twitter.com/fHlU6cw5Er

American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) attorney Jay Sekulow said in a video Monday that he supports the boycott because the judge’s $355 million fine was “an absurd ruling.”

It remains to be seen how widespread support for the NYC boycott will be. Many truckers do not own their own trucks, and can’t participate. A large portion of truckers who do may be Democrats or non-political. And among the Trump supporters who do own their own trucks, there may those who have to take whatever jobs are available just to get by.
No one is above the law liberals say. What they mean is that no one is beyond fascism’s reach. If the law was supposed to be used in the fashion it was used then it should have been used years ago and not so conveniently just before an election. A law like this, that is not used for years, or ever, is no different than “Adverse Possession”. If the law is ignored, and is not used until many years after the supposed violation, then you always get to keep the property! It is a form of latches and is exactly what the PA Supreme Court Justices ruled when it came to their state’s voting violation complaints even though that excuse, for that case, was totally inappropriately applied.
