Joe Biden delivered remarks to supporters in Virginia Thursday evening following the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s embarrassing report on Biden’s handling of classified documents.
The Biden Justice Department said no criminal charges would be leveled against Biden, in part, because his cognitive state is so “diminished” his attorneys would have been able to use his inability to remember anything about the documents as a defense.
“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur wrote in the eye-opening 388-page report, released Thursday after a yearlong investigation.
Reading from the teleprompter, Biden said he was pleased that Hur “reached a firm conclusion that no charges should be brought against me in this case.”
“The special counsel acknowledged I cooperated completely. I did not throw up any roadblocks. I sought no delays,” he said, adding that he cooperated with the probe and sat for a five hour interview over two days in October, “even though Israel had just been attacked by Hamas.”
The Q & A with reporters did not go well for him.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy pointed to the Special Counsel’s description of Biden as an “elderly, well-meaning man.”
“I am well-meaning. And I’m an elderly man. And I know what the hell I’m doing,” Biden responded defensively. “I’ve been president – I put this country back on its feet. I don’t need his recommendation.”
When asked about his memory lapses, Biden responded with an attempt at a joke: “My memory is so bad I let you speak. My memory is fine.”
“Take a look at what I’ve done since I’ve become president,” Biden seethed. “None of you thought I could pass any of the things I got passed. How’d that happen?”
Q: "How bad is your memory? Can you continue as president?"

A CNN reporter reminded him of all the times he had said “watch me” when asked about his fitness for office.
“The American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age,” the reporter said.
Biden interrupted her angrily, “that is your judgement! That is your judgement!” he barked. “That is not the judgement of the press.”

After insisting that his memory was fine, Biden referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as the the president of Mexico.
“Initially, the president of Mexico — Sisi — did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate. I talked to Bibi to open the gate on Israeli side. I’ve been pushing really hard, really hard to get humanitarian assistance into Gaza. There are a lot of innocent people who are starving. Lots of innocent people are in trouble and dying. And it’s got to stop.” He did not correct himself.

Biden also slammed Special Counsel Hur for including in his report that he could not remember when his son Beau died.
“How in the hell dare he raise that? Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, it was none of their damn business,” Biden thundered.
Biden started to say he wore his son’s rosary every day since the day Beau died, but stopped, when he appeared to forget where the rosary came from. “Every Memorial Day we hold a service remembering him, attended by friends and family and the people who loved him,” Biden continued, after a pause. “I don’t need anyone. I don’t need anyone to remind me when he passed away.”

When asked if he took responsibility for storing the classified materials in his home and office for decades, Biden blamed his staff.
“I take responsibility for not having seen exactly what my staff was doing,” he said.

Biden blew his top when asked if he had shared classified information.
“I did not share classified information!” he bellowed.

Earlier Thursday, Biden also bizarrely claimed that he wanted to be a president for everybody “whether you live in a red state or a green state.”

The disastrous press conference came in a week when Biden has twice spoken of recent conversations with long-dead European leaders.
Conservative journalists and influencers expressed amazement on X that his staff allowed him to come out for an unannounced, evening presser.
“On a scale of 1 to 100, with 1 being an utter disaster, and 100 being an infinite mega, super unmitigated disaster, how much of a disaster was this Biden press conference?” quipped Townhall’s Kurt Schlichter.
“They knew exactly what they were gonna get. They’re gonna pull him,” predicted national security expert David Reaboi.
“They must want him out. What other explanation is there?” wrote independent journalist Megyn Kelly.
“Disaster presser for Joe Biden just now,” wrote Outkick’s Clay Travis. “He said his memory is fine then confused the leaders of Mexico and Egypt. He’s lost it. This is hard to watch. Legit 25th amendment time. Not sure he can make it 11 more months to finish his term.”
“It’s wild watching The System push Joe Biden out. Slowly but surely, he’s getting shown the door,” wrote “I’m Right” podcast host Jesse Kelly. “Might spell real trouble for us depending on who the replacement is.”
“This was a hit. They never let him out so late at night,” X Account “End Wokeness” stated. “They never let him take questions without a pre-approved list. Especially not after a day like today. They wanted this to happen. The decision has been made. They are replacing Biden. At this point, the only question is who?”
“The WH press corps got the signal tonight that it was safe to go into attack mode & make up for lost time. It duly obeyed,” said writer Walter Kirn. “Reporters who once competed to throw softballs suddenly competed to hurl stones. What a weird little mob of robots. It was actually chilling to witness.”
Libs of TikTok compared Biden to Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose highly anticipated interview with Tucker Carlson aired Thursday night on X.
One of these world leaders sat attentive for a 2 hour interview and expertly gave a 30 minute history lesson in detail.
The other confused his colors and mixed up the Presidents of 2 countries.

“Joe Biden is a corrupt, demented, dangerous liar, and he must be impeached and removed from office. Immediately,” the Federalist’s Sean Davis wrote. “After this press conference and the DOJ findings today, he simply cannot remain in office.”
“America is currently being led by a gangster government headed by a corrupt and mentally unfit dementia patient who, instead of stepping down for the benefit of the whole country, is trying to put his opponent in prison for crimes the dementia-addled tyrant himself committed,” Davis added in a subsequent post.
“This is the most catastrophic presidential press conference I’ve ever seen in my lifetime,” commented the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh.
