Joe Biden, who has repeatedly denied being involved with his son’s overseas business dealings, received direct monthly payments beginning in 2018 from Hunter Biden’s law firm Owasco PC, according to redacted bank records released Monday by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
Although Biden claimed his family never received any money from China, Owasco PC received millions of dollars from Communist Chinese linked companies and other foreign nationals and companies, bank records show.
Owasco is one of 20 shell companies the Bidens and their associates used between 2015 and 2019 to rake in over $24 million dollars by selling then-former Vice President Joseph R. Biden as “the brand,” according to House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).
Biden received at least three payments of $1,380 from Owasco in September, October and November 2018.

Hunter’s law firm set up the “monthly” transfer to Biden shortly after a bank money laundering officer warned that the account was receiving millions of dollars in CCP-linked funds without “any services rendered,” the Oversight Republicans said in a press release.
The Department of Justice is currently investigating Hunter Biden for allegedly using the Owasco PC corporate account for tax evasion and other serious crimes.
Biden’s legal team pushed back against the Committee’s accusations, Monday.
According to the Washington Post, the payments were “actually for a 2018 Ford Raptor truck Joe Biden had purchased that Hunter Biden was using.”
Joe Biden signed for the truck and had it in his name — at a time when Hunter was in the depths of addiction, had a low credit score and couldn’t make the purchase himself, according to a person close to the Bidens, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss a private matter. The truck was used only for a limited time, going back to the dealer about a year after the purchase.
“There Chairman Comer goes again – reheating what is old as new to try to revive his sham of an investigation,” Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell said in a statement. “The truth is Hunter’s father helped him when he was struggling financially due to his addiction and could not secure credit to finance a truck. When Hunter was able to, he paid his father back and took over the payments himself.”
The Oversight Committee, however said the payments prove that Joe Biden was in on his son’s foreign business schemes. Hunter, at the time, was deeply involved in sketchy business relationships with Ukraine’s Burisma Holdings and the CCP-linked CEFC China Energy.
“Payments to Joe Biden from Hunter’s Owasco PC corporate account are part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family’s influence peddling schemes,” the Oversight Republicans said in a press release.
As the Bidens received millions from foreign nationals and companies in China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan, Joe Biden dined with his family’s foreign associates, spoke to them by speakerphone, had coffee, attended meetings, and ultimately received payments that were funded by his family’s business dealings.
Comer released a video announcing the direct payments to Joe Biden from Hunter’s Owasco PC bank account.

Recently, the House Oversight Committee identified two checks labeled as “loan repayments” from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden that were funded by laundered China money through the family’s influence peddling operation.
In October, the committee released bank records revealing a shady $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden from James Biden. According to Comer, James Biden received a total of $600,000 in loans from the financially distressed rural hospital operator Americore Health in 2018.
On March 1, 2018, James Biden received a $200,000 loan from the now bankrupt healthcare company, bank records show. That same day, he wrote a $200,000 check from his personal bank account to Joe Biden.
The Oversight Committee released additional evidence on November 1, showing that Joe Biden profited from the family’s influence-peddling. This time, “the Big Guy” received a $40,000 “loan repayment” from his brother’s wife Sara Biden, which appeared to be laundered through Hunter’s shell company Owasco.
Comer called on Biden to provide proof of the loans to his brother, and the White House has refused.
The House Oversight GOP continues to probe Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s domestic and international business schemes and are moving slowly toward a floor vote to authorize an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden.
