On Wednesday, a new memo was released by members of Congress detailing bank records which allegedly prove that the Biden family had received at least $15 million in foreign funds.
According to Just The News, the memo was released by Congressmen James Comer (R-Ky.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), and Jason Smith (R-Mo.); all three are leading committee chairmen, with Comer leading the House Oversight Committee, Jordan in charge of the House Judiciary Committee, and Smith in control of the House Ways and Means Committee.
“Department of Justice personnel blocked avenues of inquiry that could have led to evidence incriminating President Biden and impeded efforts to prosecute Hunter Biden for tax crimes relating to foreign business arrangements that could have implicated President Biden,” the 30-page memo reads in part.
“The President had knowledge of many of his family’s business dealings, and indeed participated in them by having phone calls and attending private dinners—including while he was Vice President—with his family’s business associates and foreign business associates who would pay his family millions of dollars for no identifiable product or service,” it continued.
The memo accuses Joe Biden himself of being fully aware of the numerous foreign business deals in which his son Hunter was engaged, and lying about this knowledge to the American people while running for president and since taking power. The allegations extend back to his vice presidency under Barack Obama, during which Hunter and other members of the Biden family profited off of Biden’s position and influence.
Congressional investigators, currently leading an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, say in the memo that they have tracked bank records revealing that at least $24 million in foreign funds have gone to businesses belonging to Hunter and his various business associates between 2014 and 2018. Of that $24 million, $15 million wound up in the accounts of Biden family members.
“These foreign business associates of the President’s family had interests in countries where then-Vice President Biden—and as President—played, and continues to play, an active role in formulating and implementing the foreign policy of the United States,” the memo states. “The President has not been truthful about his family’s foreign business entanglements.”
Investigators have cited multiple sworn testimonies from witnesses, ranging from whistleblowers to former business partners such as Devon Archer. Their statements have increasingly painted a picture of a family that sought to sell “the brand” by promising political influence in exchange for money and valuables.
