Shocking video footage from the Texas border shows a Border Patrol agent cutting an opening through razor wire to allow illegal immigrants to cross over to the American side. Human smugglers, gangs, spies, criminals, and those on the terrorist watchlists frequently cross into the U.S. in between ports of entry.
The video shows the BP agent holding the razor wire open for the 15 to 20 illegal aliens who had been trafficked across the Rio Grande in a motor boat.

Texas began installing the razor wire barriers “in high-traffic areas for illegal crossings at the Texas-Mexico border” in January to stem the flow of migrants who know they are home free the minute they step foot inside the country, thanks to Joe Biden’s weak immigration policies.
According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, the razor wire in the video was placed on a private property in Eagle Pass, Texas.
“The federal government’s position is that once migrants are on U.S. soil, under U.S. law, they need to be processed, and cannot be repelled or turned away,” Melugin noted on Twitter. “Texas is taking a much different approach, and has been physically blocking migrants under orders from [Governor] Greg Abbott.”
Texas DPS told Melugin that the owner of the private property gave them permission to lay down razor wire and arrest migrants for criminal trespassing.
“This Border Patrol agent is likely just doing what he’s been told,” Melugin said, “but this will likely lead to more friction between Texas and the Feds, who have drastically different approaches at the border.”
Victor Avila, a retired Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and ICE Special Agent, commented on Twitter: “I find it absolutely outrageous that this is happening but it doesn’t surprise me at all. Joe Biden and Mayorkas have allowed policies that the open the border wide for anyone to come in.”
Avila, who is a Republican Candidate for Texas’ 23rd Congressional District, added, “I know the great people of Border Patrol. I was an ICE Special Agent myself. This is not on them. They’re being ordered to do this stuff. May God help this great nation. We will get it turned around.”
Governor Abbott’s office announced Friday that since the launch of Operation Lone Star in March of 2021, DPS and the Texas National Guard have made “over 386,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and more than 30,000 criminal arrests, with more than 28,000 felony charges.”
Abbott said Texas law enforcement is continuing to “work together to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry.”
In the fight against fentanyl, Texas law enforcement has seized over 420 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission.
Texas has also bused more than 10,200 migrants to our nation’s capital since April 2022, over 8,700 migrants to New York City since August 5, more than 3,000 migrants to Chicago since August 31, more than 1,600 migrants to Philadelphia since November 15, over 200 migrants to Denver since May 18, and over 40 migrants to Los Angeles since June 14.
Melugin said the Texas Department of Public Safety told him this was the first time they knew of something like this happening, and that it was being investigated for destruction of Texas property.
However, surveillance video taken from a property in Eagle Pass in May showed a soldier opening a gate to allow a large group of illegal aliens to cross the border into the country illegally. According to Melugin, the female soldier was an active duty member of the Missouri Army National Guard working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and following orders from the federal government. The video showed dozens of illegal immigrants passing through the gate to the American side where a white bus awaited them.
