The two marketing executives for Anheuser-Busch who were responsible for the company’s disastrous partnership with “transgender” social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney no longer work for the company.
According to The Daily Caller, leaked text messages confirmed that Group Vice President for Marketing Daniel Blake and Marketing Vice President Alissa Heinerscheid are “gone gone” from the company. The texts allegedly come from a current regional head of marketing.
“To my understanding if we publicly announced the word ‘fire’ it opens up the potential for them to sue us. That’s why we said leave of absence,” the source said in one such text message. “The wholesalers would have had an absolute HAY DAY with leadership if they didn’t remove her,” referencing Heinerscheid.
“To be fair, Daniel Blake was actually awesome. I think he was just caught in [the] crossfire,” the source added. “But also he did hire her… so that’s a fault.”
The company still has not formally given a statement on whether or not the two have actually been fired, or if they are simply on leave, either paid or unpaid.
Heinerscheid had previously defended the company’s decision to team up with Mulvaney, a biological man who thinks he is now a woman, claiming that the company needed to change its “fratty” image and move away from what she considered “out-of-touch humor.”
Anheuser-Busch’s partnership with Mulvaney was announced ahead of June, which is considered by some to be a “pride month” for celebrating homosexuals, transgenders, and others in the LGBTQ crowd. As part of the deal, Bud Light unveiled a custom can featuring Mulvaney’s face to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his “transition.”
In response, there was a swift and widespread backlash against Bud Light, with sales plunging across the nation as customers boycotted the brand. The company lost millions and was eventually forced to buy back expired cases of beer from the shelves. The beer was eventually surpassed by Modelo as the top-selling beer in the United States.
Anheuser-Busch, what’s that?
Great! Super! Now, let’s get Fink out of BlackRock.
