Biden Accuser Tara Reade Moves to Russia, Says She No Longer Feels Safe in the U.S.

Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who accused Joe Biden of sexual assault in 2020, has moved to Russia, telling state media that she hasn’t felt safe in her home country since she made her allegations public. In the wake of the explosive interview in which she described the alleged 1993 sexual assault, Reade said she faced death threats, prison threats, and vicious smears against her character.

During a news conference in Moscow Tuesday, Reade said she decided to stay in Russia after receiving renewed death threats this Spring, and a Republican lawmaker told her she was in physical danger.

Back in March, she told Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson that she was in talks with Republican lawmakers about testifying before Congress. “I did reach out and said I wanted to go under oath—that I would testify in Congress, Reade said during the interview. “I have received a response. We are going to meet. And there is a possibility there will be an investigation into Joe Biden. And I will go under oath and I will testify.”

Reade first accused Biden of sexually assaulting her during an interview in March of 2020, in which she graphically described how the then-senator allegedly pushed her against a wall and digitally penetrated her. Reade explained that she was wearing a business skirt with no stockings because it was hot at the time. “He had me up against the wall, and the wall was cold,” she recalled, saying Biden’s “hands were on me and underneath my clothes.”

Reade said that after she pulled away in shock, she noticed that Biden was angry with her.  “He took his finger. He just like pointed at me and said you’re nothing to me,” she said. In a 1996 court document, Reade’s ex-husband mentioned that she’d complained of sexual harassment while working in Joe Biden’s office.

During the Sputnik presser, Reade said she tried to bring her accusation against Biden to the attention of Democrat lawmakers in 2020, as Biden was launching his campaign, but was ignored.

“I reached out to (Vermont Senator) Bernie Sanders, I reached out to AOC (N.Y. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez), I reached out to (Calif. Sen. Dianne Feinstein), and (Calif. Rep.) Nancy Pelosi … and they gave me silence,” she said. Next, Reade said she went to a “Me Too” organization called “Time’s Up for assistance, noting that they had received millions of dollars of donations from Hollywood stars to provide legal and public relations help to sexual abuse survivors.

“Time’s Up has since been dismantled. It was discovered that it was corrupt and part of the corruption was my case. I went to them for help, not knowing that they were already on the payroll of the Joe Biden Campaign,” Reade explained.

She noted that FEC records showed that the Biden Campaign gave Time’s Up over $2.2 million to silence her while she was going public with her allegations against the powerful Democrat.

During an interview with MSNBC in 2020, Biden adamantly denied Reade’s accusations, saying “unequivocally, it never, never happened. It didn’t. It never happened.”

Biden has also forcefully denied having any involvement with his wayward son Hunter’s shady business deals, although there is now overwhelming evidence that he was very involved with the family’s corrupt influence-peddling operation.

Hunter Biden’s laptop includes pictures and appointments of his foreign business associates with Joe Biden, as well as a telephone message of Biden telling his son “I think you’re clear,” after the New York Times whitewashed a story about Hunter’s business dealings with Ye Jianming, the corrupt head of CEFC China Energy Company.

In an interview earlier this month, Biden even asserted that Hunter had done nothing wrong and said he was proud of him despite the younger Biden’s alleged influence-peddling, tax offenses, gun violations, FARA violations, drug abuse, sleazy porn-addiction, use of prostitutes, and disgraceful fight to avoid paying child support for his illegitimate daughter in Arkansas. Joe Biden, who has long campaigned against “deadbeat Dads,” continues to refuse to acknowledge his four-year-old granddaughter, Navy.

“My son has done nothing wrong. I trust him. I have faith in him, and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him,” Biden told MSNBC.

During the press conference streamed by Sputnik, Reade sat alongside alleged Russian spy Maria Butina who was sentenced to 18 months in a US prison in 2019 for conspiring to act as an unregistered foreign agent, the same crime Joe Biden’s son is accused of committing.

According to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, the evidence against Hunter Biden’s FARA violations appears “as strong as past cases brought against others, including Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort.”

During the news conference, Butina, who now serves in the Russian parliament, promised to discuss the possibility of granting Russian citizenship to Reade and ask Putin “to fast track her citizenship request.”

Reade, 59, said she’d arrived in Russia as a vacationer, but felt like she would be harassed by the U.S. government if she came back.

“When I got off the plane in Moscow, for the first time in a very long time I felt safe, and I felt heard, and I felt respected. That has not happened in my own country,” Reade said.

She went on to describe a conversation she had with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) while in Moscow.

“I am considered a whistleblower, as you know, in the United States,” she explained. “One of the cases I will be testifying about is how the DOJ and the FBI was weaponized against its own citizens.”

Reade said Gaetz, a member of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, told her he was worried about her “physical safety in the United States.”

“As a U.S. citizen to hear a U.S. congressman basically say they couldn’t protect me in a whistleblower case is stunning, and it makes me angry,” she said, adding as the the regime retaliates against whistleblowers,  American citizens should keep in mind that “the U.S. Congress works for the U.S. citizens. They work for us., We don’t work for them. And we need to take back our power. We need to take back our truth and be able to speak it without fear of reprisal or physical harm.”

Reade said that she put out a “viral tweet” saying she wasn’t suicidal after the threats and attacks against her started again: “People started messaging me, asking me if I was suicidal, making vague threats and I could see that starting again. And I put out a viral tweet saying that I am healthy and I’m determined to bring Joe Biden to justice, to bring some sort of an investigation, and to testify under oath before Congress if asked.

Reade said that most Americans don’t hate Russia and “this illusion of Russia as an enemy is propagated by a few Washington elites who are determined to cause problems.”

While noting that she wants to hold on to her U.S. citizenship, Reade said she’d “like to apply for citizenship in Russia, from the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin … I do promise to be a good citizen.”

American Greatness reached out to Rep. Gaetz for a response to Reade’s claims but did not receive an immediate reply.
