Biden’s ‘Non-Binary’ Department of Energy Official Fired Over Felony Theft Charges

Sam Brinton, the “non-binary” official touted by the Biden Administration as a symbol of its diversity, has been fired after twice being charged with felony theft.

The Daily Caller reports that Brinton, who served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, has been accused on two separate occasions of stealing someone else’s luggage while traveling. The first incident took place in July at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, while the second incident happened in September at an airport in Minnesota.

Brinton, whose hiring was celebrated by the Biden Administration as the first “gender-fluid” person to serve in the federal government, refers to himself using “they/them” pronouns despite being born male. He has been charged with felony theft for the Minnesota case, where he could face a $10,000 fine and up to five years in prison. He has been charged with grand larceny for the Vegas theft.

A Department of Energy (DOE) spokesman had previously said that Brinton was “on leave” at the time the charges were filed and declined to comment further. However, Brinton’s profile page on the DOE website is now no longer available.

Prior to being hired by the Biden Administration, Brinton was an activist in support of “LGBTQ youth,” according to his former bio on the DOE website. He was also previously part of a group of drag queens known as “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.” His past activities and self-professed fetishes quickly gained greater attention after his hiring, as Brinton had posted photographs of himself and other men engaging in sexually degenerate behavior such as animal roleplaying.
