Over 50 Transgender Surgeries Performed on Minors Between 2017 and 2019

A new report reveals the full extent of so-called “gender-affirming” surgeries that have been carried out on underaged children in the United States, with dozens taking place at clinics across the country over a short span of time.

As reported by The Daily Caller, the report by health technology company Komodo Health Inc. shows that, between 2017 and 2019, there were 56 genital surgeries conducted on minors, between the ages of 13 and 17, in the United States. In addition, the same period of time saw at least 776 mastectomies.

The report noted that these totals may not even be the full amount, as the data did not include those who weren’t covered by insurance, or children who have not been formally diagnosed with gender dysphoria. The same report showed that, between the years of 2017 and 2021, at least 121,882 children between the ages of 6 and 17 were diagnosed with the condition; of these, at least 14,726 children started undergoing hormone treatment.

Gender dysphoria, a mental disorder in which children believe that they were somehow born of the “wrong gender,” is the primary cause behind the ideology of “transgenderism,” which falsely claims that there are more than two genders, and that anyone can suddenly change their gender at any given time. Komodo’s research saw a significant spike in diagnoses of gender dysphoria between 2020 and 2021, rising 70 percent over the course of just one year.

Genital mutilation surgeries, by far the most radical step in reaffirming such gender-based delusions, was promoted heavily by transgender activists at the beginning of the ideology’s rise. However, more recent years have seen a great backlash against the practice due to its irreversible nature and permanent damage it causes, forcing many activists to quietly withdraw their support for the practice. As such, Komodo’s research proves that the practice is still very much alive and well in the United States.
