Biden Berates Detroit Auto Worker Who Questions His Stance on Guns: ‘You’re Full of Sh*t!’

While visiting an auto manufacturing plant in Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday, presidential hopeful Joe Biden got into a heated argument with a worker who had voiced his concerns about the former vice president’s stance on guns.

“You are actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment rights and take away our guns,” a worker in a hardhat told Biden as he walked through a crowd of workers and reporters.

Biden shot back: “You’re full of sh*t!”

The Democrat went on to hush an aide who had tried to interject. “Shush, shush” he said, turning toward the woman.

“I support the Second Amendment,” he insisted.

“The Second Amendment right now if you yell ‘fire,’ that’s not free speech,” Biden blustered confusedly. “From the very beginning, I have a shotgun, a twin gauge, a 12-gauge, my son’s hunt,” he added in attempt to boost his pro-2nd Amendment bona fides.  “Guess what? You’re not allowed to own any weapon. I’m not taking your gun away at all.” The former veep added, ” you need 100 rounds?”

The worker insisted that Biden and Beto [O’Rourke] had promised to take guns away.

Biden shot back: “I DID NOT SAY THAT! I did not say that!”

“It’s in a viral video,” the man pointed out.

“(It was in) a viral video? Just like the other ones they’re putting out. They’re lies,” Biden replied, adding “take your AR14s…”

[Biden probably meant “AR-15.” An AR-14 is a shoulder-fired, gas-operated, selective-fire assault rifle of the Republic of Surea Armed Forces.]

When Biden asked the worker if he owned a machine gun, the man informed him that they’re illegal.

“That’s right!” Biden exclaimed. It’s not not clear what he said next because the audio is muddled, but the Democrat seemed to say something about AR-15s being illegal.

As the two argued, Biden pointed his finger in the worker’s face, prompting him to complain, “This is not okay … You’re pushing up on me.” A fellow worker put his arm around the man, hoping to diffuse the situation..

Eventually, Biden moved on through the crowd to shake more hands.

Here is part of the confrontation from another angle:

Earlier this month, Biden announced that if elected president, he would tap former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke to be his point man on guns.

“I want to make something clear — I’m gonna guarantee you, this is not the last you’re seeing of this guy — you’re gonna take care of the gun problem with me, you’re gonna be the one who leads this effort. I’m counting on you, I’m counting on you, we need you badly,” Biden said during a rally in Dallas, Texas, on March 2.

Before dropping out of the 2020 presidential race, O’Rourke had vowed to seize all Americans’ AR-15 assault rifles. “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” O’Rourke exclaimed at a Democratic primary debate last year.

Biden himself has bragged repeatedly that he is “the only one on this stage who has taken on the NRA and beat them twice.”

“We were able to get assault weapons off the streets for 10 years, he said during the Democratic CNN/NYTimes Primary debate on Oct 15, 2019. “The way to deal with AR-15s and assault weapons is to do what we did with machine guns.”

The National Rifle Association (NRA) has given Biden a grade of “F” on gun rights policies.
