Super Bowl Halftime Performance Features Children in Cages

The halftime performance of this year’s Super Bowl, featuring Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, included a segment where numerous children crawled out of makeshift cages on-stage, as Breitbart reports.

As the singers performed “Born in the USA,” multiple children appeared in cage-like fixtures before crawling out of them. Among the children was Lopez’s 11-year-old daughter, Emme Muniz.

The act appeared to be a jab at the Trump Administration, which has emphasized a crackdown in illegal immigration and, as a result, has incarcerated many illegal aliens who crossed the border illegally. Left-wing criticism has accused the administration of “locking children in cages,” even though this was actually a practice that was started under the Obama Administration.
