Democrats held a celebratory “Impeachment Party” at a Washington D.C. bar near the Capitol following the final public hearing, according to Breitbart.
The party took place on the upper level of the Hawk ‘n’ Dove, which was cordoned-off from regular customers at the bar. Among those seen at the gathering were the Democrats’ counsel Daniel Goldman and House Intelligence Committee staffer Sean Misko.
Whether it was meant to celebrate the end of the process, or to celebrate impeachment as a whole, was never made clear. But the group “seemed to be in good spirits” as they shared drinks and ate “hamburger sliders and other snacks.” There were about 15 attendees in total.
