Is a municipality or state declaring itself a sanctuary for illegal aliens legal? And why has the federal government, no matter the administration, turned a blind eye to the repugnant, anti-American, anti-law practice of “sanctuary city and state?”
I describe sanctuary for illegal aliens as repugnant, anti-American and anti-law because when Texas took the reins away from the federal government and declared itself a non-sanctuary state, the federal government threw a conniption fit.
As there is no consequence to these jurisdictions for engaging in clear violations of our sovereignty and federal laws, citizens in those jurisdictions suffer because they have no power or worse, some of them choose benefits of profit and employment over fidelity to sovereignty. Even without any violent crime, there are those who benefit from the presence of illegals throughout the country. Others call them the “investor” class. I call them farmers, business owners, and landlords. They make money by subverting our laws and employing or renting to illegal aliens. Trey Harris is such a person with his creation of “Colony Ridge” outside of Houston, TX. When some “citizens” get to subvert and ignore laws, facilitating illegal activity and exploiting those here illegally for money, or exert influence over local government to ignore illegal activity, everyone loses. This young boy’s death is simply a consequence of that train of abuses.
The city and law-abiding citizens suffer, especially those who hire citizens. I have mentioned before Yarrabee Farms’ employment of an illegal alien to work on its farm for years. Yarrabee knew its employee was in the U.S. illegally, but because its owners were Republican donors, it was able to conduct business, hire illegals (denying locals or citizens those jobs at higher pay) and lo and behold, a young woman was killed by one of its employees. I wonder if Yarrabee was sued by her family? Sued by citizens denied jobs? Anyone? Prosecuted by anyone as an accomplice to that crime?
So, too, with Maryland and Montgomery County. It’s a heavily Democrat area and many of the citizens depend on government, including federal government, for employment. By “recycling” these illegals, they preserve the illusion that they need more money for law enforcement and courts, all government activities. They receive funds for these legitimate activities which would otherwise be decreased or eliminated altogether from the federal government.
There are also churches aiding and abetting illegal human trafficking, sex trafficking of minors and getting away with it under the guise of “compassion” and phony-baloney “Christian” conscience. Yeah, whatever. It’s all about money. Money, money, money and it is the only and Supreme God in America these days.
Until we, as citizens, decide that the only people entitled to enjoy the blessings of liberty are the citizens of these United States, sanctuaries for criminals and illegal activities harming citizens will proliferate.
