Biden Navy Forced to Retreat In Face of Houthi Attack

American ships are once again being attacked by terrorists in the Middle East. 

Houthi terrorists fired three anti-ship ballistic missiles at the U.S.-flagged container ship M/V Maersk Detroit Wednesday in the Gulf of Aden, U.S. Central Command announced yesterday. One missile hit the sea, while the USS Gravely successfully intercepted and shot down the other two missiles. There were no injuries or damage reported on the ship.

The Houthi terrorists are backed by Iran. The attack highlights the ongoing threat posed by Iranian-backed groups in the region.

“The Houthi motto isn’t subtle: ‘God is Great, Death to America, Death to Israel, A curse upon the Jews, Victory to Islam’,” said U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas). “This is the group that Joe Biden removed from the Foreign Terrorist list, allowing them to build up arms and threaten American sailors.”

Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists fired three anti-ship ballistic missiles from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen toward the U.S.-flagged, owned, and operated container ship M/V Maersk Detroit, transiting the Gulf of Aden. One missile impacted in the sea. The two other missiles were successfully engaged and shot down by the USS Gravely (DDG 107). There were no reported injuries or damage to the ship.
