Good Tuesday morning.
Here’s what is on 46 agenda today:

- 4:40pm: The President delivers remarks at a virtual grassroots event for the Democratic National Committee
- 5:45pm: The President delivers remarks at a virtual fundraising reception for the Democratic National Committee
Two minutes of hate:
On Monday, I wrote about the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit temporarily blocking the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate for business with more than 100 employees. The White House was not deterred by the ruling and informed businesses to keep on keeping on. Who cares what the court said, deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced at a WH briefing on Monday afternoon.
“We say: Do not wait to take actions that will keep your workplace safe. It is important and critical to do, and waiting to get more people vaccinated will lead to more outbreaks and sickness,” she said. “So this is about keeping people in a workplace safe and so – and what we’re seeing is more businesses and school closures and most lost jobs … keep us stuck in a pandemic that we’re trying to end. Like, we do not want that to happen. We’re trying to get past this pandemic, and we know the way to do that is to get people vaccinated.”
“So people should not wait. We should continue to do – move forward and make sure that they’re getting their workplace vaccinated,” she continued.
Let me remind you what the court said in their ruling: “Because the petitions give cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate, the Mandate is hereby stayed pending further action by this court.”
These folks think they can do whatever they want for the “greater good” and only care about the constitution, checks and balances and due process when it suits them. The Biden DoJ plans to fight the court’s block even though they are telling companies to ignore the court’s ruling. This ridiculous mandate cannot get smacked down fast enough.
Moving along, after warning the public about rising energy costs this winter and the current increase in gas prices, the Biden Administration is considering shutting down the pipeline in Michigan. During a press conference, deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about a WH study investigating the impact of shutting down the L5 pipeline from Michigan to Canada and said any reports about shutting down the pipeline were “inaccurate.” However, that wasn’t the question. When pushed on her answer, Jean-Pierre admitted that they were studying the impact of shutting it down. White House National Climate Advisor met with climate fanatics in October where the issue of the L5 pipeline was raised. “They’re playing things close to their chest,” said one person who was at the meeting. “But we expect them to announce something after Build Back Better passes.” How will this impact fuel prices in Michigan? I suspect this doesn’t matter.
Finally, Secretary of Transportation Mayor Pete promised to rid the country of racist highways. During a press briefing on Monday, Secretary Mayor Pete announced that fixing the racist infrastructure is a priority of the Biden Administration.
“I’m still surprised that some people were surprised that when I pointed to the fact that if a highway was built for the purpose of deciding a white and a black neighborhood,” Buttigieg said. “Sometimes it was federal dollars that divided a community often along racial lines,” he said, pointing to “racism that went into those design choices.” Brietbart reports,
After a reporter asked Buttigieg how he could “deconstruct racism that was build into the roadways,” the secretary said the administration would “get to work right away” on the project.
Say, Secretary Mayor Pete, what’s going on with our supply chain?
