In the wake of the unsettled and unsettling election, the schizoid Left, simultaneously, has issued demands for compulsory “unity” and political retribution. The former constitutes the Democrats’ carrot and schtick approach to “healing” the “soul of the nation” they’ve torn asunder for partisan purposes. The latter reveals the Left’s ultimate aim.
Having gotten their way following a four-year long tantrum of “norm”-breaking sedition—despicable smears, the governmentally weaponized Russiagate lie, a sham impeachment, all aided and abetted by a disgracefully partisan elitist media—the latest schtick of the Democratic grifter class is “unity.”
But unity isn’t for everyone.
Taking their lead from that consummate con man, former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democrats’ grifter class is proffering a return to the halcyon days when the “uniparty” ruled the swamp for fun and profit—theirs, not yours.
Of course, the Left isn’t extending their olive branch to the true populists they’ve libeled and slandered as “Nazis.” This is a carrot shared only between elitists: Democratic grifters are inviting their fellow GOP grifters to jump back into the swamp and scratch their backs for a buck.
It’s their uniparty and they’ll grift if they want to—but you aren’t invited. In fact, the Democrats’ “unity” schtick has been a standing invitation to GOP grifters, many of whom had accepted it prior to the election (hello, Lincoln Project); and, after the election, many more Republican reprobates jumped off the Trump train back into the swamp.
But for those dilatory GOP grifters who’ve yet to R.S.V.P. for the unipartry, the Democrats’ schtick has a stick. Headed by U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes (D-N.Y.), the lister wing of the Democratic Party seeks to create an enemies list of Trump enablers to “cancel.” Thus, if a GOP grifter doesn’t unconditionally confess his or her thought crimes and surrender to the Left’s secular religion and regressive agenda, this recalcitrant Republican elitist will be professionally and personally cancelled.
There exists some question as to whether or not a GOP grifter can grovel his way off of this enemies list (goodbye, Lincoln Project).
The even more extreme (and straightforward) elements in the Democrats’ lister wing want to destroy all Trump “enablers,” starting with those who “took a paycheck” to serve in the administration. Indeed, unless prevented by populists, this is likely to transpire. The Democrats’ grifter class, alone, is too anile to stanch the lister wing’s attempts to cancel any and all Trump “enablers.”
But what lurks just below the lister Left’s insanity is a more profound depravity. The Left doesn’t want merely to destroy the former members of the administration; they want to destroy Trump’s ultimate enablers—the over 71 million American populists who voted for him.
After over four years of being analyzed, assessed, assailed, and silenced by the Left, no amount of Democrats’ “unity” schtick can mask their hatred and aims for us. In therabid eyes of the Left, populists have devolved from deplorable to irredeemable; and these armchair Jacobins seek to cost populists their jobs, homes, and very existence. In sum, the Left seeks the unity not of a country, but of the collective. Consequently, for true Trump-supporting populists, the Left isn’t sending an invitation; the Left is issuing a diktat.
Well, “unity” bloviating Democrats can schtick it where the sun don’t shine. Populists will ignore the Left’s admonishments and threats; and continue working toward the restoration of policies that made our nation more prosperous and secure. In this momentous, urgent work, populists will invite everyone to unite and keep America great.
