Twitter, Facebook Censored Trump 65 Times, Zero Times for Biden

A new study published Monday shows that President Trump has been overwhelmingly targeted by censors at Twitter and Facebook when compared to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, Fox News reports.

“Big Tech has caused serious damage to President Donald Trump’s ability to be heard on social media. Twitter and Facebook have censored the president’s social media accounts and the accounts belonging to his re-election campaign at least 65 times. In contrast, the companies have not censored… Joe Biden and his campaign accounts. At all,” MRC analysts Corinne Weaver and Alec Schemmel wrote.

The media watchdog group went through all social media posts by Trump, Biden and their campaigns from May 2018 through Oct. 16, 2020, and found that Biden was “untouched” while Trump was censored 65 times.

“Twitter composes the bulk of the problem, with 98 percent of all the instances of censorship,” Weaver and Schemmel wrote, as Twitter came under fire when it chose to censor major headlines about the Biden family, particularly when it came to the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s corrupt business dealings with Ukraine.

“Twitter has been far and away the biggest offender, labeling, fact-checking, and Trump’s tweets and the tweets from his campaign accounts 64 times since the president’s election. Tweets about the president’s concern over mail-in voting, COVID-19, and the Black Lives Matter protests have been given ‘public interest notices,’” Weaver and Schemmel wrote.

“This censorship goes back as far as the beginning of the Trump presidency,” Weaver and Schemmel added. “The Trump campaign’s accounts have also been struck by censorship on Twitter.”

The study indicates that Facebook has censored Trump five times over the same time frame.

“Each time, the platform has made the statement that it opposes whatever Trump and the campaign have said or stood for,” Weaver and Schemmel wrote. “A video attacking Antifa was removed from the platform, because it violated the platform’s ‘organized hate policy’ for featuring an upside-down red triangle. The ad asked supporters to sign a petition and ‘stand with your President and his decision to declare ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization.’ The ad was removed from both the president’s page and his campaign’s page.”

The researchers noted that “multiple violent Antifa pages” remain on Facebook.

Last week Senate Republicans, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and Josh Hawley called on Twitter, Facebook bosses to testify amid claims of the two social media giants censoring reporting critical of Democrats and said a subpoena was in the works.

“It has no precedent in the history of democracy. The Senate Judiciary Committee wants to know what the hell is going on,” Cruz, R-Texas, said.

  1. The fitting punishment for Twitter is capitalism. Twitter is censoring the American President and others for the crime of exercising free speech. Twitter has failed to do its job properly and President Trump needs to tell Twitter in front of millions and millions and millions, “You’re fired!”

To that end, President Trump should prepare to migrate to Parler by opening an account and placing in it information of his choosing, (e.g. Hunter Biden’s signature on the computer repair store receipt), free of the biased interference of Twitter. For the convenience of President Trump’s millions of followers, he should keep both accounts open until a convenient time to drop Twitter for good.

A proper and convenient time to do that would be to announce at the debate on Thursday that he has opened a Parler account to give access to vital information to the American people that is unavailable at Twitter. Furthermore, the president should promise to drop his Twitter account as he announces his win over his rival Joe Biden on election night.

The announcement of President Trump’s planned canceling his Twitter account and his reasons for doing so should generate worldwide publicity and entice the voters of this country to go to the president’s Parler account and see the truth that Twitter is censoring and the mainstream press outlets are suppressing.

On election evening President Trump can announce that it’s time to do away with Twitter once and for all, hoist his phone aloft, push the uninstall button, and proudly say to the world, “Twitter, you’re fired!” The icing on the cake would be for the president to invite all lovers of freedom and especially of freedom of speech to join him in his protest against Twitter. Yes, it’s legal for republicans to protest too. Viva la revolucion!

Dropping Twitter for Parler looks like a win-win situation to me.

  2. Yes it is time for the president to end the leftists monopoly of all media and break them up or sue them for false content.
The media has to report truth or be shut down
