Morning Greatness: Grenell Declassifies Names of Flynn Unmaskers

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump meets with Republican Members of the Senate
  • 2:00PM  Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany holds a briefing

10am: Coronavirus task force members testify before Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee

Unmaskers Are About to be Unmasked

Acting DNI Rick Grenell is not messing around. From Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller:

Richard Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence, has declassified documents related to Obama administration officials’ unmasking of Michael Flynn in transcripts of phone calls he had with Russia’s ambassador, a senior intelligence official told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Someone, a “senior official” who learned about this call, leaked it to the Washington Post. Leaking classified information is a felony and this leaker remains employed in the government and unpunished.

ABC News reports, Grenell declassified “a list of former Obama administration officials who were allegedly involved in the so-called ‘unmasking’ of former national security adviser Michael Flynn in his conversations with the former Russian ambassador during the presidential transition, a senior U.S. official said.”

“Allegedly” involved in the “so-called” un-masking. There are records so it’s not alleged and it’s not “so-called” unmasking because BY LAW the U.S. citizens’ privacy is protected and masked when inadvertently scooped up by the federal snoopers looking at foreign communications. It’s flat out un-masking.

ABC News also reminds us, “Former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice has openly acknowledged unmasking the identities of some senior Trump officials during the presidential transition but has strenuously denied ever leaking any identities and said nothing she did was politically motivated.” But why? For their RUSSIA collusion pretend investigation? We will soon see. The ball is in A.G. Barr’s court now about releasing the newly declassified information.

In related news, “A US attorney’s review into the origins of the Russia investigation is going ‘full throttle’ and adding top prosecutors who are breaking down individual aspects of the case, including the prosecution of former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, according to a report on Monday.”

“Barr talks to Durham every day,” a source told Fox News. “The president has been briefed that the case is being pursued, and it’s serious.”

Trump holds press conference on Chinese virus testing, media pounces

These media freaks…first they cluck and chirp about being forced to cover the Trump press conferences and then they cluck and chirp that Trump is hiding virus information from them by cutting back on press conferences. Good grief.

Yesterday, the WH held a press conference to talk about testing capacity but these press harpies cannot help themselves and turned it into another Trump firing squad. Do you ever notice at these press conferences the media ask few specific questions about the pandemic, the kind of information useful to the public, but rather ask Trump stupid questions like “why are you shaking hands with people?” and “why aren’t you wearing a mask?” What good does that information do for the public when their businesses are closing, their families are in financial distress and they face a risk of getting sick?  It does no good because the media isn’t about informing the public, they are about political activism and undermining the president so they can go back to sleep once a Democrat is put into the presidency. They miss the days when Obama was president and all they had to do was type up Ben Rhodes’ press releases. Also, they hate America.

CBS “reporter” Weijia Jiang decided to ask this super important question of the president: “Why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives and we’re still seeing more cases every day?”

Let me answer that for you, Weija. The reason is because the media keeps running fables every day, multiple times a day claiming the U.S. SUCKS: why isn’t the US testing like South Korea, why is the U.S. hardly testing people, why are there test shortages in the U.S. but they grow on trees in other countries, why isn’t the U.S. cementing people inside their homes to stop the virus like the Chinese police are? You get my point. Trump talks like that because he is proud of the U.S. efforts to manage the virus and also because the media is hell-bent on demonizing him, everything he says and everything he does. Remember how much ink the media spilled, hoping and praying that hydroxychloroquine would be an ineffective treatment for the virus after Trump pumped it up? Yes, the media was rooting against a treatment!

Trump responded to the #resistance reporter Jiang by saying:

“Well, they’re losing their lives everywhere in world. And maybe that’s a question you should ask China. Don’t ask me, ask China that question, okay?” Trump responded.

“When you ask them that question, you may get a very unusual answer,” he added.

“Sir, why are you saying that to me, specifically, that I should ask China?” Jiang said back after Trump tried to move on.

“I’m not saying it specifically to anybody. I’m saying it to anybody that would ask a nasty question like that,” Trump said.

“That’s not a nasty question,” Jiang said.

Yes, why not ask China who is responsible for the virus’s spread, if in fact you are upset about the sick and dead Americans. This is a fair point by Trump. I get his point but the snowflake media brigade turned it into a racial issue. Fun Flashback: Jiang is the person who claimed some racist in the White House called the Chinese virus the “Kung Flu.” She never revealed who that racist was, by the way.  Strange.

After some games involving CNN’s Kaitlin Collins, Trump shut the presser down and walked off. Good for him.

Media distorts Pompeo’s virus remarks

Fresh off the NBC/Chuck Todd creative editing scandal, one CBS’s tabloid shows, “60 Minutes” distorted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s remarks about the Chinese Virus. CBS is upset because the U.S. is cutting off funding to the Wuhan Virus Brewing Institute, coincidentally located in in the same town where the Chinese virus first manifested. What are the chances?

Scott Pelley, a CBS “journalist,”wants to portay Pompeo as a tin-foil mad hatter and presents him to the audience as claiming the Chinese virus was man-made and left off the part where Pompeo clarified himself.

Last Sunday, Secretary of State Mike Pomepo attempted to resurrect a debunked theory that the virus was man-made in China.

Mike Pompeo on ABC’s “This Week”: Look, the best experts so far seem to think it was man-made. I have no reason to disbelieve that at this point.

He did have reason. Days before, the director of national intelligence said there was “wide scientific consensus” the virus was not man-made.

Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week”: Your Office of the DNI says the consensus, the scientific consensus was not man-made or genetically modified.

Mike Pompeo on ABC’s “This Week”: That’s right. I agree with that.

The same day Pompeo tried to have it both ways, President Trump repeated the theory of a Chinese lab accident.

But what “60 Minutes” left off the rest of Pompeo’s remarks:

QUESTION:  Okay.  So just to be clear, you do not think it was man-made or genetically modified

SECRETARY POMPEO:  I’ve seen what the Intelligence Community has said.  I have no reason to believe that they’ve got it wrong.  But you have to put this in context.  Here’s what’s important, Martha.  Here’s what’s important.  The Chinese Communist Party had the opportunity to prevent all of the calamity that has befallen the world, and here we find ourselves today – you and I were talking about we haven’t seen each other physically for a long time.  That’s true of people all across the world.

So he’s not “having it both ways,” he clarified himself and Pelley with the CBS “60 Minutes” clown posse want you to think the virus leaking out of the lab is the same thing as saying the virus is man-made. And they certainly don’t want you to blame China, who destroyed evidence, refused and continues to refuse to let in international scientists and knowingly let people leave Wuhan to seed the world with the virus while restricting travel within China. Why do the media continually defend China while attacking the president and his administration?
