Morning Greatness: Less Redacted Rosenstein Scope Memo Released, Secret Transcripts Soon to Follow

Good Thursday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president meets with the Governor of Texas
  • President Trump and First Lady deliver remarks at the White House National Day of Prayer Service

Mueller scope memo finally released

Oh boy…OH BOY. Here is the memo if you want to read it.

The scope memo was the official guidence given by acting A.G. Rod Rosenstein to Special Counsel Mueller to run his witch hunt. At first, Rosenstein had charged Mueller with investigating: “i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; [and] iii) any other matters within the scope of [obstruction of justice laws].” This memo was written in May of 2017.

But then there was another memo written in August of 2017 which expanded Mueller’s scope and was highly redacted when it was released to the public. This latest relase is of a less redacted version. The newly released memo authorizes Mueller to investigate Carter Page, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, and Michael Flynn. The feds knew the Steele dossier, which was the main basis for the “suspicion” that lead to the investigation, had largely been discredited back in early 2017, the pretext for the second, expanded scope of the memo is all bullshit. Bullshit. Here’s a few noteworthy items:

The feds were trying to nab Papadopolous on a FARA violation, claiming he was lobbying for Israel, which was a total set up. He was lured to Israel and given $10K by a derp state associate so that the feds could arrest him at Dulles with the money. PapaD did not have any money on him when he arrived back in the U.S. because he had given it to his lawyer to hold on to when he thought the situation was kind of shifty. This really screwd the feds plans. But how did the feds know to stop PapaD at Dulles? Because they set him up.

The Flynn charge is ridiculous. Rosenstein uses the absurd Logan Act to say that Flynn “Committed a crime or crimes by engaging in conversations with Russian government officials during the period of the Trump transition.” He was the incoming National Security Adviser!

Finally, the Carter page item is based on a total lie, ignoring the fact that the FBI had been informed much earlier that Page was a federal asset who helped arrest actual RUSSIAN spies. Of course, a federal agent forged the email that contained that information for the FISA court to get a snoop warrant and instead presented an email said that Page was NOT a federal asset.

What a joke. When will we see the firing squads? WHEN?!? Meanwhile there’s more fun on the horizon because…

Here comes the secret RUSSIA probe congressional transcripts

Rick Grenell, acting Director of Nationa Intelligence has called Adam Schiff’s bluff and now the deranged partisan hack Schiff will have to release the secret transcripts of congressional interviews he’s been hiding.

A spokesman for Schiff made the announcement after the release of a letter from Richard Grenell in which the acting director of national intelligence said he would publish the 53 transcripts on his own if the California Democrat refused to do so.

Rick Grenell is a national hero. Schiff has been blocking the release of the memos despite a vote to authorize their release back in September 2018. 2018! The review of the transcript by the intel folks was finished in June 2019, so ALMOST ONE WHOLE YEAR.

“I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your committee’s unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible,” Grenell said in his letter to Schiff.

“I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as to ensure we comply with the unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts,” Grenell continued.

How refreshing. Grenell needs to give a deadline to Schiff and if he doesn’t meet it, he should release. In fact he should just release them. Today.

From the LOLGF files: Cuomo wants healthcare volunteers to pay New York taxes

Can you believe this creep? After begging for health care professionals to come help their infected city, New York wants to punish the volunteers with New York levels of taxation. I hope people are taking note and when this much vaunted “second wave” Chinese virus comes, they should stay home. Sorry, bro.

According to New York law, anyone working in New York for more than 14 days has to pay New York taxes.

“We’re not in a position to provide any subsidies right now because we have a $13 billion deficit,” Cuomo said during his daily press briefing Tuesday. “So there’s a lot of good things I’d like to do, and if we get federal funding, we can do, but it would be irresponsible for me to sit here looking at a $13 billion deficit and say I’m gonna spend more money, when I can’t even pay the essential services.”

First of all, no more federal funding for New York, no bailout, you get NOTHING more. The government already is picking up the Chinese virus tab. If they don’t want to open up, they can’t get a free ride while other places open up and pick up their slack. Cocaine Mitch also agrees there should be no bailout for these blue states that are bleeding money because they are ill-managed. “We’re not interested in rescuing badly run states from the mistakes they made, completely unrelated to the coronavirus,” McConnell said.

Betsy DeVos revamps Title IX witchunting statute

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos has announced new protections, also known as “due process,” for people accused of sexual harassment on campuses. CNN wants you to know that this is “controversial” and explains the protections are “a controversial move that upends Obama-era guidance she had argued denied due process to the accused.”

Critics argue that DeVos’s newly recognized but eternal G-d given civil rights protections might prevent people from coming forward with their allegations. The “controversial” changes would “allow those accused of harassment or assault to question evidence and cross-examine their accusers.” In order words, before ruining someone’s life, there are safeguards in place via an adversarial process that the allegations are true. Seems fair.

“Too many students have lost access to their education because their school inadequately responded when a student filed a complaint of sexual harassment or sexual assault,” DeVos said in a statement Wednesday. “This new regulation requires schools to act in meaningful ways to support survivors of sexual misconduct, without sacrificing important safeguards to ensure a fair and transparent process.”

Ah yes, the “survivor” which is a new, made up term to describe someone who has yet to prove they have survived anything.

Colleges and universities also will be required to hold live hearings with cross-examinations of both parties. Cross-examinations won’t be done by the students personally, but by an “adviser.” Either party can request the hearing be held virtually in separate rooms.

“It marks the end of the false dichotomy of either protecting survivors, while ignoring due process, or protecting the accused, while disregarding sexual misconduct,” Kenneth Marcus, the assistant secretary of the department’s Office for Civil Rights, said in a statement. “There is no reason why educators cannot protect all of their students — and under this regulation there will be no excuses for failing to do so.”

Now here’s the kicker: Sleepy Joe Biden vowed a “quick end” to the new rule when he wins the presidency. “Survivors deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and when they step forward they should be heard, not silenced,” Biden said in a statement. “Today, Betsy DeVos and Donald Trump published a rule that flies in the face of that belief and guarantees that college campuses will be less safe for our nation’s young people.”

You know who is a survivor Joe? TARA READE. How about you operate according to the same rules you want other people to operate under? GUILTY!
