Chris Cuomo’s Teenage Son Has Coronavirus

Another member of the Cuomo family has come down with COVID-19.

Three weeks ago CNN host Chris Cuomo shared that he had tested positive for the virus, he revealed his wife Cristina’s also had the virus about two weeks later. On Wednesday Cristina Cuomo shared a photo of her son, Mario, to Instagram, commemorating Earth Day, revealing that their child has also become infected with coronavirus, New York Post reports.

“This virus has created a different version of me. My hope is to be stronger, healthier, smarter about the virus at large,” Cristina wrote. “After 10 days of ups and downs, feeling good one-day and terrible the next, I am now working hard to get my son, Mario, through the virus.”

Over a week after he was spotted out and about in the Hamptons, Chris Cuomo released a video of his “official re-entry” from his quarantine. The video posted to Instagram shows the moment Cuomo emerges from the basement of his family’s Southampton home where he ‘isolated’ himself. He announced that night that his wife was also cleared to end her quarantine.

It was over Easter weekend when Cuomo was spotted in East Hampton when the TV anchor got into a heated argument with a 65-year-old resident out riding a bike.

The man tried to call out Cuomo for not following his quarantine.

“[Cuomo] said, ‘Who the hell are you?! I can do what I want!’” the man, David, told The Post last week. “He just ranted, screaming, ‘I’ll find out who you are!’

“I said to him, ‘Your brother is the coronavirus czar, and you’re not even following his rules — unnecessary travel,’ ” David said, referring to Cuomo’s brother, Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Chris Cuomo’s son, Mario, is named after Chris’ late father, who was New York’s governor for three terms from 1983 to 1994.
