We all know there’s a double standard between Republicans and Democrats. Let’s look at the litany of crimes Hunter Biden has committed. And think about if the same things had been found on Don JR’s laptop…
Them: According to an IRS memo, the FBI found out about Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2019. Yet, they sat on the evidence for months until they began working on the case.
Us: The FBI and Department of Justice would have swiftly pursued a case to prosecute President Trump and his child. At the same time, Congress would have put together Articles of Impeachment and forced Trump out of office.
Them: Hunter Biden sold access to his father and threatened to use his influence. In a July 2017 WhatsApp Message, Hunter said, “I am sitting here with my father, and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
Us: If one of Donald Trump’s children admitted to sitting next to his father while negotiating a six-figure deal while he was in office, the repercussions would have been swift.
Them: He later said that if they do not resolve the issue, he would “make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”
Us: Again, if one of Trump’s kids weaponized their fathers’ influence and power behind his public office, the repercussions would be swift.
From explicit nude photos to smoking crack while driving at 172 mph to U.S. state secrets and so much more, the Hunter Biden laptop is the gift that keeps giving to Republicans. While Democrats refuse to acknowledge the laptop’s contents and the risk they pose to our nation, we all know the reaction would be different if this were one of the Trump kids’ laptops.
The irony is if President Trump’s family committed just one of these crimes, they would be tried in both a court of law and the public court of the opinion of the Mainstream Media. On the other hand, the Biden Crime Family has committed a litany of them. Joe Biden is lauded as a great father, and Hunter Biden is praised for overcoming his addiction. But, if this was the Trumps, we all know it would be perceived very differently.
