ABC News Tries to Pass off Kentucky Gun Range Footage as Syria Firebombing

ABC News has been forced to issue a correction after it was revealed that it was using footage from an American gun range during its coverage of the latest events in Syria, the Daily Caller reports.

The footage, which originally aired on “ABC World News Tonight” on Sunday and then again on “Good Morning America” on Monday, was claimed to be footage of Turkish forces firebombing the Kurds in northern Syria.

The clip, labeled on-screen “Slaughter in Syria” during the broadcast, depicts rapid gunfire and massive explosions taking place at night. ABC anchor Tom Llamas narrated the video by claiming that there were “horrific reports of atrocities” by the Turks against the Kurds, which he claimed were a result of President Trump “effectively abandoning America’s allies” in the region.

But the footage was eventually revealed to have been filmed at a Kentucky gun range called Knob Creek, and first appeared in a YouTube video in 2017. The full footage includes numerous spectators visible at the bottom of the screen, filming with their smart phones; the ABC footage had deliberately cropped out this part of the video to only show the gunfire and explosions.

After a spokesman for the gun range confirmed that the footage was theirs, ABC News issued a correction on Twitter, and announced that they had taken down the video.

Native American Chiefs Pressure Atlanta Braves to End ‘Tomahawk Chop’

Two Native American Leaders are publicly pressuring the Atlanta Braves baseball team to end its nearly 30-year tradition known as the “tomahawk chop,” the New York Post reports.

The chief of the Creek nation claimed that the practice, which includes fans holding red foam tomahawks during games, “reduces Native Americans to a caricature and minimizes the contributions of Native people as equal citizens and human beings.”

A Cherokee leader further criticized the tradition, calling it “just so stereotypical, like old-school Hollywood…Come on guys, it’s 2020. Let’s move on, find something else.”

In response, a spokeswoman for the Braves said that team officials will hold talks with Native American leaders to discuss the future of the practice, adding that the team “looks forward to a continued dialogue with those in the Native American community.”

The demanded censoring of this longtime tradition marks the latest attempt to change professional sports’ teams branding, mascots, and practices out of fear of offending Native Americans; there have been ongoing attempts to change the name of the Washington Redskins football team, and the Cleveland Indians baseball team was forced to retire its old mascot, Chief Wahoo,” last year amid similar demands.

Census Bureau Asking States for Citizenship Information

The United States Census Bureau has been asking various states to hand over any information regarding the citizenship status of its population, according to The Hill.

According to the report, the Census Bureau is seeking such information as driver’s licenses, which include “citizenship status, race, birthdates, and addresses,” as well as “information on people who receive government assistance.”

This comes after the United States Supreme Court controversially struck down the Trump Administration’s efforts to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census. In response, President Trump announced the signing of a new executive order dictating that the Commerce Department would work more broadly with other federal agencies to obtain citizenship information through other means.

According to the report, the Bureau’s efforts to obtain more information on those receiving government assistance is part of an effort to “improve efficiency and accuracy in our data collections, and to improve measures of the population and economy.” The efforts to narrow down citizenship information, and find out who is and who is not a citizen, is part of the Trump Administration’s efforts to curb widespread election fraud due to illegal aliens being allowed to vote in such states as California.

Morning Greatness: Media Prints Useful Leaks from Clandestine ‘Impeachment’ Inquiry Testimony

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump has lunch with the Vice President
  • The president welcomes the 2019 Stanley Cup Champions, the St. Louis Blues

The Democrat candidates are holding an official drum circle tonight if that’s your kink.

This Week in “Impeachment”

It’s amazing how elected officials can’t manage to get their act together to legislate on issues of national concern but can activate and pounce into action post haste on their fake impeachment project.  The docket is tight this week. Three State Department officials are scheduled for depositions and the Democrat-run clown committees of Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Oversight and Reform set several deadlines for subpoenas this week for docs from Giuliani, the Pentagon and the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Secret impeachment testimony Adam Schiff wants you to know

While the Democrats’ secret impeachment tribunals are shrouded in darkness, some information manages to leak out to lefty conduits. Imagine that. Former NSC aide Fiona Hill told her inquisitors that “The effort to pressure Ukraine for political help provoked a heated confrontation inside the White House last summer that so alarmed John R. Bolton, then the national security adviser, that he told an aide to alert White House lawyers,” the New York Times (LOL) is reporting.

“Three people who heard the testimony” according to the Times leaked, “Mr. Bolton got into a tense exchange on July 10 with Gordon D. Sondland, the Trump donor turned ambassador to the European Union, who was working with Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, to press Ukraine to investigate Democrats, according to three people who heard the testimony.”

“I am not part of whatever drug deal Sondland and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Mr. Bolton, a Yale-trained lawyer, told Ms. Hill to tell White House lawyers, according to two people at the deposition. (Another person in the room initially said Mr. Bolton referred to Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Mulvaney, but two others said he cited Mr. Sondland.) “Giuliani’s a hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up,” Ms. Hill quoted Mr. Bolton as saying during an earlier conversation.

Over at Politico, the “impeachment” inquisitors want you to know, “President Donald Trump’s former top Russia aide told House impeachment investigators on Monday that she had at least two meetings with a National Security Council lawyer about Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to convince Ukrainian officials to investigate the president’s political rivals, according to a person who was in the room for the testimony.”

Politico also reported, entirely without irony, that “Democrats vehemently defended their secrecy of the evidence-gathering process, which has been taking place exclusively behind closed doors. Republicans, meanwhile, renewed their attacks over the impeachment procedures, accusing Democrats of keeping witness transcripts under lock and key and depriving the public of an opportunity to hear the evidence.” Secrecy: so important! Except for this stuff we just printed about what the witness said.

Hill testified for more than 10 hours for the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight committees.

Hunter, Hunter, Hunter!

ABC News is batting cleanup for former Veep Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign by airing infomercials interviews with embattled son Hunter.

The network said Hunter Biden will speak with “Good Morning America” anchor Amy Robach, underscoring that “no questions were off limits.”

“Tune in to ‘Good Morning America,’ ‘World News Tonight,’ ‘Nightline’ and ABC News Live and starting Tuesday for more on Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and China as well as his reaction to President Trump’s rally and tweets targeting him directly,” reads the network statement.

“No questions off limits.” Give me a minute to collect myself.

Hunter’s lawyer said in a statement: “Under a Biden Administration, Hunter will readily comply with any and all guidelines or standards a President Biden may issue to address purported conflicts of interest, or the appearance of such conflicts, including any restrictions related to overseas business interests,” the statement continued. “He will continue to keep his father personally uninvolved in his business affairs.”

That’s a little late, eh? I mean if he did nothing wrong when Biden was the veep, why put limits on what he can do when Biden is (pretendville) president?

On Monday, Hunter said that “he will resign from the board of a Chinese private equity firm called BHR Partners, but he’s still one of the two directors of the company that owns his 10% equity stake in the firm, business records show. The other director holds the role of supervisor at the Chinese firm.” But that’s not all. The Daily Caller is also reporting that “Hunter Biden did not state whether he and Schwerin, through their company Skaneateles, would divest the 10% equity stake in BHR.”

I wonder if ABC asked Hunter about this. I’m guessing no.

Former Pompeo Aide Michael McKinley to Testify Before Dems’ Impeachment Clown Show

A former State Department adviser known to be anti-Trump is scheduled to testify behind closed doors Wednesday before the congressional committees leading the House impeachment clown show.

Michael McKinley—formerly a top aide to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a longtime diplomat— is expected to  appear for a transcribed interview, according to CNN, which suggests he is not coming under subpoena.

The House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight Committees are conducting the impeachment inquisition in hopes of finding something to hang the president on.

McKinley has served as ambassador to Peru, Colombia, as well as Afghanistan, and was appointed by former President Obama to serve as the U.S. ambassador to Brazil in January of 2017. In 2018, he was tapped to be an adviser to Pompeo at the State Department.

McKinley resigned last Friday amid growing unease in the State Department over President Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to have Ukrainian authorities investigate corruption and 2016 election meddling in their country.

His resignation also comes a day after President Trump made it clear in a presidential tweet that he supports Brazil’s efforts to join the intergovernmental Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The State Department had previously notified Brazil in a curt letter signed by Sec. of State Mike Pompeo that the United States would not be supporting Brazil’s inclusion in OECD.

Last Thursday, Pompeo also said that the U.S. did support the Bolsonaro government’s aspiration of joining the group, although he said the United States would be backing Argentina first.

“We have welcomed Brazil’s ongoing efforts regarding economic reforms, best practices, and a regulatory framework in line with the standards of the OECD,” Pompeo said in a statement. “We are enthusiastic supporters of Brazil’s entry into this important institution and the United States will make a strong effort to support Brazil’s accession.”

A day later, McKinley resigned as Pompeo’s top aide.

It remains a mystery why Pompeo tapped the Obama holdover for the post in the first place, as he and his far-left Bolivian wife Fatima are rumored to be quite hostile towards Trump.

Latino Trump supporters have been on to this for a long time.

McKinley also has quite a bit of baggage from his days as a diplomat for the Obama administration.

In 2016, he helped broker a deal that helped the narco-terrorist group FARC gain power in Columbia.

Under the ceasefire accord between the then-president of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos and FARC in Havana, revolutionaries were forced to disarm themselves and hand over their weapons to the United Nations, but were allowed to form a legal political party, the Common Alternative Revolutionary Force.

Up to 2,500 FARC members reportedly continue to abide by FARC’s original doctrine and continue with drug trafficking.

During the Cartagena Summit in 2012, McKinley and former president Obama were joined for dinner by then–president of Columbia Juan Manuel Santos and the notoriously corrupt Brazilian billionaire Marcelo Odebrecht.

Four years later, Odebrecht, the former chief executive of Latin America’s largest construction company, was sentenced to 19 years in prison for his role in a massive corruption scandal involving current and former political leaders, including former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, another friend of Obama who ended up in jail for corruption.

Odebrecht was convicted of bribery, money laundering and organized crime after he and others involved in the scandal essentially “looted taxpayers to fund Communist campaigns,” as  award-winning international journalist Alex Newman put it in an interview about the South American money laundering operation.

According to Newman, McKinley, while serving as ambassador to Brazil, actually worked against the candidacy of Jair Bolsonaro (known in Brazil as “the tropical Trump”) in the run-up to the country’s 2018 presidential election.

“We have deep state swamp creatures at the highest levels of power in Washington D.C.,” Newman said.

“Jair Bolsonaro and his people are leading a counter-revolution in Brazil,” Newman explained. “They are getting these communist criminals dislodged from power at every level. A lot of them are going to prison where they belong.”

“Let’s hope that this counter-revolution that took root in Brazil will spread all across the region,” Newman added.  “Hopefully it will make its way up into Venezuela, and into Chile … Now we need to hope that that same counter-revolution comes into the United States and the communists that have been trying to hijack our government—and in many respects has hijacked our government—can be exposed and will be dealt with.”

CNN Insider Blows Whistle on Jeff Zucker’s ‘Anti-Trump Crusade’

On Monday, Project Veritas released the first video in a series that exposes the blatant bias, misconduct, and anti-Trump political agenda of CNN. These tapes, said founder James O’Keefe, “will be the biggest story of the year for Project Veritas.”

Sickened by the “rampant” left-wing bias he saw behind the scenes at CNN, a whistleblower took it upon himself to wear a hidden camera and record officials at the highest levels of the network.

“I started at CNN with a dream to work in media, but my dream had become a nightmare,” said Cary Poarch, a CNN contractor at the Washington D.C. bureau.

Poarch secretly recorded his colleagues for months, making dozens of recordings which he gave to Project Veritas.

“I didn’t see any other option,” he told O’Keefe. “I decided to wear a hidden camera to expose the bias. He recorded staffers admitting on tape that basically all of the on air personalities at CNN are not objective journalists and loathe President Trump.

The whistleblower also secretly recorded network President Jeff Zucker’s 9:00 am editorial meetings, exposing Zucker’s laser-like focus on impeachment at the expense of all other stories.

“Jeff Zucker, basically the president of CNN, has a personal vendetta against Trump,” Nick Neville, CNN media coordinator, said on tape. “It’s not going to be positive for Trump. He hates him. He’s going to be negative. ”

Neville explained that a lot of people at CNN are trying to do “what they think is best for journalistic integrity,” but then Zucker tells them “what to do” (focus on impeachment) on the 9:00 am calls. “You gotta go with what the boss says, he added, noting that Zucker has had “an ongoing feud with Trump since The Apprentice.”

Another CNN staffer also said on tape that Zucker is gunning for Trump’s impeachment.

“There’s just nothing we can do if Zucker wants impeachment every single day to be the top story,” said Christian Sierra, media coordinator at CNN. “So yeah, he wants impeachment—above all else.”

Sierra said that he hates how everything at the network is about Trump now, and so do a lot of CNN staffers.

“Everyone at my job, everyone at the network complains about it,” he said. “They hate covering Trump every day.” Neville said CNN is partly to blame for the Trump phenomenon because they hyped his candidacy in 2016 and continue to obsess about his presidency for ratings.

Yet another CNN employee blamed the media for Trump’s rise to power.

“The media created the Trump monster,” said Hiram Gonzalez, CNN floor director. Gonzalez said CNN now uses “whatever tools are at our disposal” to combat Trump.

According to CNN staffers, the network was shell-shocked on election night 2016.

Mike Brevna, floor manager at CNN, described the funeral-like atmosphere at the network when Trump won.

” …they were down like this and they were sobbing,” Brevna said. “It was like we was at a funeral.” Sierra described the mood at CNN the next day as “sourpuss.”

“I bet at Fox  it was euphoria,” Sierra laughed. “F*ck yeah. Racism, we’re coming back.” Sierra went on to suggest that CNN’s “anti-Trump” crusade was meant to undo the damage.

According to Project Veritas, this is what set Poarch off. “He saw the anti-Trump crusade as about  more than ratings. It was about taking sides,” O’Keefe says in the video.

In on the morning calls with Zucker were Virginia Moseley, CNN’s senior vice president of news gathering; David Chailian, CNN’s political director, and various news staffers.

“We’re moving toward impeachment,” Zucker told his underlings in one of the morning calls. “This is going one way and so all these moves are towards impeachment,” he added, suggesting that no other narrative would be acceptable at the network.

Zucker also instructed news staffers to not be shy about targeting Senator Lindsey Graham for negative hit pieces.

“So, I just want to say on the Lindsey Graham front. I know that there’s a lot of people at CNN that are friendly with Lindsey Graham,” he said. “Time to knock that off. And it’s time to call him out.”

In one of the calls, Zucker blamed “conspiracy nonsense” from Fox News for “what’s going on in America now.”

“The fake conspiracy stuff that Fox has spread for years is now deeply embedded in American society, and frankly that is beyond destructive for America, and I do not think that we should be scared to say so,” he told his employees.

Poarch made note of Zucker’s liberal projection. “He was calling Fox News fake news and a propaganda machine, and with what I saw, that’s pretty much what CNN was— just pumping out propaganda,” he told O’Keefe.

“I just want them to own where they’re at,” he added. “Like hey, if we lean left—cool, let’s say we lean left. If we lean right, let it be known.” Poarch said he just wanted people to have the information so they can make up their own minds.

Poarch taped one last 9:00 am phone call for Project Veritas Monday morning:

California Dems Spend More than $800,000 on Sexual Misconduct Cases

The California Democratic Party has spent in excess of $800,000 as a result of several sexual misconduct lawsuits targeting its former state chair, Eric Bauman, ABC reports.

The party has spent “$430,000 in attorney fees,” with an additional “$378,348 in legal settlements” as a result of three different cases, amounting to $808,348 total.

Although Bauman has denied all of the allegations against him, he was forced to resign as party chair last year. The lawsuits claim that multiple acts of sexual misconduct by Bauman were “well-known and apparently tolerated” by the rest of the party, while the party responded with a denial, saying that one of its top values is “treating people fairly.”

In addition to these first three cases, two more cases against Bauman and the California Democratic Party are “pending.”

Fox News Poll Allegedly Showing 51% Support for Impeachment Misrepresented the Results

Last week’s controversial Fox News poll, which claimed that 51 percent of Americans supported impeaching President Donald Trump, has been found to have misrepresented the American population in its sample size, the New York Post has discovered.

After the Post did further investigation, it discovered that the pollster responsible for the findings was Braun Research, located in Princeton, New Jersey. The Post found that Braun’s sample size was 48 percent Democratic, thus heavily skewing the results towards the Left; by contrast, the actual makeup of the American electorate is only 31 percent Democrat, with 29 percent Republican, and 38 percent Independent.

The poll originally reflected an 11-point gap between those who supported impeachment and those who opposed it, at 51 percent to 40 percent, respectively. According to the Post, if the poll had been conducted with a sample that accurately reflected these numbers, then only 44.9 percent of respondents would have favored impeachment, with 44.4 of respondents against it.

The poll’s suspicious findings even elicited a now-prescient response from President Trump, who tweeted: “I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck.”

California Passes Law Mandating that All Students Receive Taxpayer-Funded Lunches

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) has signed a new bill into law which essentially eliminates penalties for students and parents in public schools who have not paid meal fees, thus shifting all of the costs back onto the taxpayer, according to Fox News.

The new bill, S.B. 265, acts as an amendment to the 2017 Child Hunger Prevention and Fair Treatment Act, now requiring public schools to allow children to choose any meal they want at lunch time, even if they or their parents have failed to pay the school’s meal fees. Previously, a penalty for unpaid or late meal fees was that students were limited only to a select few types of meals at lunch.

Newsom said his rationale for signing the bill was anecdotal evidence regarding several kids who felt that they stood out from their classmates by being limited to a select few meals, claiming, without evidence, that this was indicative of a more widespread problem.

This new law is the latest in a series of proposals by far-left Democrats advocating for universal school lunches, which would similarly be funded by the taxpayers. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.) has vowed to implement “year-round, free universal school meals” if elected president. Far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) had introduced the “No Shame at School Act” in June of this year, similarly making the dubious claim that “students are subjected to various shaming practices at schools” if they can’t pay for their lunch.

Morning Greatness: Secret Anti-Trump Tribunals to Continue as Congress Returns

Good Monday morning. It’s Columbus Day.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president has no public events today.

Star chamber tribunal to continue this week

The Democrats are returning from their recess and will continue their secret tribunals against ORANGE MAN BAD. The dummies, that’s you all, don’t need to see or hear anything going on inside the tribunals, you just need to know that men and women far, far better than you are making decisions about how to jettison the president you voted into office. Maybe if you could be trusted to make the right decisions, they wouldn’t have to interfere and fix your mistake with their coup. The horror, the horror.

This week, the EU ambassador will be up at bat. Did you know parts of his planned testimony about the fantastical “quid pro quo” allegation have leaked? Isn’t that just wild!?!?

A person familiar with Sondland’s planned testimony told The Washington Post that the diplomat will tell lawmakers of Trump’s quid pro quo denial that, “It’s only true that the president said it, not that it was the truth.”

Sondland is set to appear before Congress under subpoena Thursday as part of Democrats’ impeachment campaign against Trump. The diplomat is likely to be asked about his interactions with Trump, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and other diplomats regarding the administration’s posture toward Ukraine.

If the Democrats have such a solid case against the president, why do they have to keep it hidden? Sure they can cloak themselves in the need to keep the whistle blower anonymous (everyone knows who it is anyway) but these other characters don’t need to be kept secret, none of this is classified. The reason has to be that they don’t have the receipts for impeachment and must control the media narrative with selective leaks to curry public support.

Media overlords upset at video shown at Trump event

At a Trump-friendly conference held at a Trump resort in Miami, a video was shown that has the media upset. Here’s a link to the video that shows a superimposed Trump firing a *gun* at a bunch of media outlets, detractors and lefty groups in a church. I don’t know how long the link will stay up since the thoughtcrime police that control social media are taking the video down.

Eh, what to say? I guess if the media were as vocal about any group or person encouraging violence or representing violent imagery, this would make sense. But they aren’t. They have been jacking up the public against not only President Trump, but his supporters and his political appointees. So, hey it’s cool to spit on Trump supporters, or trash a kid with a MAGA hat, or give a pass to Antifa when they beat up journalists, or help destroy people’s livelihoods because of their political opinions, then I guess this video is just par for the course.

The White House Correspondents Association wants Trump to condemn the video.

Among the people and logos included were late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CNN, according to the Times.

The clip appears to be lifted from the 2014 dark comedy film “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”

“The WHCA is horrified by a video reportedly shown over the weekend at a political conference organized by the President’s supporters at the Trump National Doral in Miami,” Karl said. “All Americans should condemn this depiction of violence directed toward journalists and the President’s political opponents. We have previously told the President his rhetoric could incite violence. Now we call on him and everybody associated with this conference to denounce this video and affirm that violence has no place in our society.”

As I indicated above, it’s hard to get worked up over this since the media and at least one of the individuals in the video have encouraged violence against Trump folk and the media didn’t say squat. I too am horrified.

AG Barr rips attacks on religious liberty

Speaking at the University of Notre Dame last Friday, Attorney General Bill Barr responded to attacks on religious liberty.

“This is not decay,” Barr said. “This is organized destruction. Secularists and their allies have marshaled all the forces of mass communication, popular culture, the entertainment industry, and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values.”

Barr’s appearances was, of course, met with protestors. Some blew whistles, referring to the “whistle blower” who transmitted a gossipy complaint about the president’s phone call with the Ukraine. Funny.

Barr’s remarks followed an “equality town hall”on CNN where D-list presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke announced he would strip religious institutions of their tax exempt status if they do not support gay marriage. “There can be no reward, no benefit, no tax break for anyone … that denies the full human rights and the full civil rights of every single one of us.” O’Rourke told a cheering audience. “And so as president, we are going to make that a priority, and we are going to stop those who are infringing upon the human rights of our fellow Americans.” Another D-list candidate Corey Booker, said there would be “consequences” for religious institutions but did not explicitly say if he would weaponize the IRS.

Minnesota State Rep Was Among Antifa Mob Harassing Trump Supporters After Rally

A Democrat member of the Minnesota House of Representatives was among the far-left riffraff that harassed and intimidated Trump supporters as they left the Trump rally in Minneapolis Thursday night. Rep. Aisha Gomez (DFL) was seen consorting with a member of the antifa mob as he hurled profanities at Republicans as they drove by.

Hundreds of leftists gathered outside of the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis to scream at Trump’s supporters and tell them to go home.

Before the rally, a middle aged woman, her husband, and her 75-year-old mother were harassed by the vicious mob as they made their way into the venue, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported.

“Shame on you!” agitators screamed, blowing whistles in their faces. “How does it feel to be a racist and a bigot?” one asked. The woman later told the Strib, “I think that was the worst of society imaginable.”

After the rally, the “protest” descended into chaos as left-wing protesters and antifa radicals assaulted Trump supporters, clashed with police, and burned “Make America Great Again” hats.

“Nazi scum off our streets!” the agitators screamed, flipping off Trump supporters as they drove through the throng.

Clad in black, Rep. Aisha Gomez (DFL) was seen among the mob of leftists intimidating people as they left the rally.

Gomez was videotaped greeting and hugging one of the agitators as he shook his fist and hurled profanities at the cars as they pass by.

Andy Mannix, a reporter for the Star Tribune videotaped some of the unruly antifa action outside the Target Center. Gomez can be seen four minutes into the video.

As the mob turned violent, police at times deployed a chemical irritant to subdue the troublemakers.

Gomez boasted on Twitter that she was able to talk left-wing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey into having the police stand down, leaving the Trump supporters more vulnerable.

“Does the MN House Speaker support Rep Gomez (dressed in all black wearing a hood) participating in an ANTIFA rally that clashed w MPD?” asked Jon Justice, a radio host on Minneapolis’ news talk station AM 1130. “Did any of her other caucus members join in the ANTIFA protests, and does Gov Walz support DFL Legislators joining ANTIFA in their anti-police riot?”

Washington D.C. Replaces Columbus Day with ‘Indigenous Peoples’ Day’

The nation’s capital has passed a bill to rename the history holiday Columbus Day as “Indigenous Peoples’ Day,” ABC reports.

The legislation, named the “Indigenous Peoples’ Day Emergency Declaration Act of 2019,” was proposed by Councilman David Grosso (I-D.C.). The bill, which Grosso inaccurately described as “emergency legislation” on Twitter, is ostensibly for the purpose of “honoring Indigenous People and their rich history and cultural contributions,” without explaining what those alleged contributions are.

Grosso further attempted to justify the bill by falsely claiming that “Columbus enslaved, colonized, mutilated, and massacred thousands of Indigenous People in the Americas.”

If Mayor Muriel Bowser (D-D.C.) signs the bill in time, it will go into immediate effect for the upcoming Columbus Day on October 14th. But in order to become permanent law, it must be approved by Congress within 225 days of the bill’s signing.

D.C. is one of 130 cities around the country that is trying to eliminate Columbus Day and replace it with a day instead focusing on Native Americans. Grosso’s bill was supported by 9 of the 11 members of the D.C. Council who were present at the meeting; the only two who did not vote for the bill were Chairman Phil Mendelson (D-D.C.) and Jack Evans (D-D.C.), who both abstained.

Evans justified his abstention by saying that while he supported implementing an Indigenous Peoples’ Day, he did not support the elimination of Columbus Day in order to do so. He cited “a number of emails, a number of calls from constituents in my ward, largely of Italian descent,” who felt discriminated against by the bill.

The National Italian American Federation released a statement similarly voicing its opposition to the change, saying that the repeal of Columbus Day, “which is celebrated by over 20 million Italian Americans…would be culturally insensitive.”

Big Tech, Other Major Companies Lobby for Liberal Supreme Court Decisions

An alliance of major companies, including Big Tech and Fortune 500 brands, have filed amicus briefs in several of the Supreme Court’s upcoming cases, as reported by The Daily Caller.

The two cases in particular that these companies have rallied behind are the case deciding the fate of the Obama-era amnesty program Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and a case deciding whether or not “federal civil rights law covers LGBT employees.”

In the case of the former, the corporations involved claimed, without evidence, that eliminating DACA would damage the GDP due to the decrease in cheap labor that would follow. For the latter, they claimed that if the court does rule federal law covers LGBT employees, then it would eliminate the burden of individual companies dictating those policies themselves, which they said would constitute “an artificial barrier that restricts the free flow of resources, ideas, and capital.”

Among the companies involved are the Big Tech companies Amazon, Facebook, and Google. Other companies include Best Buy, Cisco Systems, and Hilton.

These are two of the most significant cases set to be decided by the Supreme Court next year, and will be among the first major tests of President Trump’s two confirmed justices: Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

NBC Bans Trump Campaign Ad on Biden-Ukraine Scandal

On Thursday, NBC Universal announced that it would not run one of President Trump’s most frequently-shown campaign advertisements detailing Joe Biden’s Ukraine scandal, The Hill reports.

The ad in question, simply called “Ukraine,” details the former vice president’s corruption and abuse of power with regards to Ukraine, including how his son Hunter was being paid $50,000 to serve on the board of an energy company that was under investigation by Ukrainian authorities; Vice President Biden used his influence and threatened to withhold $1 billion in American funding to Ukraine unless the investigating prosecutor was fired, which he eventually was.

NBC told the Trump campaign that the ad would not run on any of its networks unless certain changes were made. It has not been confirmed as to which changes the network specifically requested.

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh responded to the news by declaring that “our ads are 100 percent accurate. The discussions with NBC had nothing to do with the facts as presented in the ad. We have no further comment on those conversations.”

This decision comes amidst a flurry of attempts by the Biden campaign to censor any and all negative media coverage of his dealings with Ukraine. The Biden campaign had previously demanded that news networks not interview President Trump’s personal lawyer and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and had also tried to pressure Fox News into not running the Trump campaign’s anti-Biden ads.

More recently, the Biden campaign attacked the New York Times for running a column by acclaimed investigative journalist Peter Schweizer, in which he detailed Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine.

Morning Greatness: Urine, Spitting, Violence from Trump Rally Protestors in Minneapolis

Good Friday morning. TGIF!

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president participates in a photo opportunity with the Little League Baseball World Series Championship Team and the Little League Softball World Series Championship Team
  • President Trump meets with the Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China
  • President Trump delivers remarks at a Keep America Great Rally in Lake Charles, LA

Rioting at Minneapolis Trump Rally

I am really sick of this.

On Thursday, the president held a rally in Minneapolis and the violent left showed up to riot because our culture is laden with feeble-minded adultchildren who can’t control themselves and lash out violently when presented with something they don’t want to hear. And then they are rewarded.

You don’t like the president? Fine hold up a sign, that’s cool. You want to “set fire to Make America Great Again hats and other memorabilia,” or “punch a Trump supporter in the back of the head as he left the rally” or assault rally attendees because they are “Nazis?” NO SIR. The more these terrorists are allowed to get away with this behavior, the more they will do it and more their violence will escalate. We need a clarification on this new rule of allowable violence: can everybody beat up and assault people thought to be Nazis? I’d like to know because that rule goes both ways.

Some of the other behavior outside the rally: “Some threw urine in the streets and a small fire was quickly extinguished by police.” Another report states that protestors tossed urine on the police.

I can’t imagine it will be long now before some of these targets will fight back. The police are handcuffed by the Trump-deranged liberal local government that insists on facilitating this violence and can’t really control the riots. It’s a powder keg especially with the campaign season ramping up.

“Whistle-blower” has relationship with Biden

File this under “obviously.”

A retired CIA officer told the Washington Examiner, “From everything we know about the whistle-blower and his work in the executive branch then, there is absolutely no doubt he would have been working with Biden when he was vice president.”

As an experienced CIA official on the NSC with the deep knowledge of Ukraine that he demonstrated in his complaint, it is probable that the whistle-blower briefed Biden and likely that he accompanied him on Air Force Two during at least one of the six visits the 2020 candidate made to the country.

A former Trump administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters, said Biden’s work on foreign affairs brought him into close proximity with the whistle-blower either at the CIA or when he was detailed to the White House.

Here’s the scoop: everyone in the media is pretty sure who the whistle-blower is but no one wants to be the outlet or person to reveal it. (Don’t look at me, I’m not sayin’ anything.) But it DOESN’T.MATTER.  The media will ignore anything that doesn’t advance their anti-Trump agenda so whoever this person is, whatever glaring bias and motivation becomes apparent if/when he/she is revealed, whatever his/her history demonstrates, it will be memory-holed. Remember how quickly the media “debunked” the discovery that the ICIG recently changed the requirement for whistle-blowers to provide first hand information so it could seriously consider the gossip-filled whistle-blower complaint? No worries, the media will just pretend it was never discovered or tell the zombies that watch and read their muckraking that it’s been debunked and be done with it. Anything that casts doubt on the media’s mission will be ignored. There will be no fair assessment about this latest attempt to remove the  president from office. All that matters now is the left gets back the little control it lost when Trump won the election. If you are waiting around for validation from the elite that control all the major American institutions then, you will wait forever.

On a related note, the crowd shrieking the loudest about how important it is to protect the whistle-blower’s identity, is also the same crowd suing and screaming about how critical it is to violate the confidentiality and anonymity of grand jury testimony in the Mueller report. Did you think this was about principles? NO SIR.

Report: Anti-Trump Whistleblower Tied to Former Vice President Joe Biden

According to multiple media reports, the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) told the House Intelligence Committee last month that the anti-Trump “whistleblower” is a registered Democrat who has a significant professional tie to a 2020 Democrat candidate.

Now it has been revealed that the 2020 candidate is none other than former vice president Joe Biden, who is himself mired in a Ukrainian corruption scandal of his own involving his son, Hunter Biden.

The Washington Examiner reported on Thursday—based on tips from intelligence officers and former White House officials—that Biden must be the Democrat in question because the anti-Trump complainant is “a career CIA analyst who was detailed to the National Security Council at the White House and has since left.”

On Sept. 26, the New York Times reported that he was a CIA officer. On Oct. 4, the newspaper added that he “was detailed to the National Security Council at one point.”

Michael Atkinson, the Intelligence Community’s inspector general, told members of Congress that the whistleblower had a “professional tie” to a 2020 Democratic candidate. He had written earlier that while the whistleblower’s complaint was credible, he had shown “some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate.”

A retired CIA officer told the Washington Examiner, “From everything we know about the whistleblower and his work in the executive branch then, there is absolutely no doubt he would have been working with Biden when he was vice president.”

As an experienced CIA official on the NSC with the deep knowledge of Ukraine that he demonstrated in his complaint, it is probable that the whistleblower briefed Biden and likely that he accompanied him on Air Force Two during at least one of the six visits the 2020 candidate made to the country.

A former Trump administration official told the Examiner that Biden’s work on foreign affairs at the White House had likely put him into close proximity with the whistleblower.

“This person, after working with Biden, may feel defensive towards him because he feels [Biden] is being falsely attacked. Maybe he is even talking to Biden’s staff,” the former official said. “Maybe it is innocent, maybe not.”

The whistleblower alleged last month that Trump improperly pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate potential 2020 election rival Joe Biden, whose son Hunter once sat on the board of Burisma Holdings, a notoriously corrupt Ukrainian energy firm. The allegation helped spark House Democrats to launch a formal impeachment inquiry into the president, who has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing.

However, according to documents obtained by investigative journalist John Solomon, Ukrainian officials opened a probe into Burisma months before President Trump’s phone call with Zelensky.

“The U.S. government had open-source intelligence and was aware as early as February of 2019 that the Ukrainian government was planning to reopen the Burisma investigation,” Solomon told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday. “This is long before the president ever imagined having a call with President Zelensky,” he added, noting Petro Poroshenko was still Ukraine’s president at that time.

According to Solomon, the reopening of the probe into Burisma involved, in part, “unusual transactions” in its accounts.

U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

Biden reportedly made a half dozen trips to Ukraine during his eight years as President Obama’s “point man” on the Ukrainian crisis.

Nunes: Former Ambassador to Ukraine Made ‘Strange’ and Irregular’ Requests to Monitor U.S. Journalists

The former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch made a number of “strange” and “irregular” requests to monitor the communications of American journalists, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) claimed on Fox News Wednesday night.

During an appearance on “Hannity,” Nunes said that he intended to ask Yovanovitch about these alleged efforts to monitor reporters during her scheduled testimony before the House Intelligence Committee on Friday.

Yovanovitch, who was appointed ambassador to Ukraine by former President Obama in 2016, was recalled by the State Department in May, but remains a State Department employee.

Although it’s unclear whether the Trump administration will allow her to testify, Nunes, the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, welcomes the opportunity to question her.

He told host Sean Hannity that a number of Ukrainians and officials in the State Department had raised concerns about Yovanovitch, which is why Trump ordered her removal.

A former top Ukrainian official told investigative reporter John Solomon last spring that the U.S. embassy in Kiev had been refusing to provide Ukrainian law enforcement officials with visas so they can deliver their evidence of election meddling and corruption to Washington.

“We were supposed to share this information during a working trip to the United States,” Kostiantyn Kulyk—then the deputy head of the Prosecutor General’s International Legal Cooperation Department—told Solomon back in April.  “However, the [U.S.] ambassador blocked us from obtaining a visa. She didn’t explicitly deny our visa, but also didn’t give it to us.”

Nunes told Hannity that “concerns” had been raised that journalists were being improperly monitored. “That we don’t know, but we have people who have given us this information,” Nunes said, adding that he would be pressing the State department for more information ahead of Yovanovitch’s testimony on Friday.

Hannity said three sources had told him they “believe there is evidence that government resources were used to monitor communications” of  journalists—including Solomon, a Fox News contributor—and that Yovanovitch may have been involved.

Solomon has broken stories related to the Russia hoax and the ongoing Ukraine controversy that have contributed to Trump’s desire for a DOJ review of the origins of the FBI and special counsel investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“What I’ve heard — and I want to be clear — there’s a difference. What I’ve heard is that there were strange requests, irregular requests to monitor not just one journalist, but multiple journalists,” Nunes added. “Now perhaps that was OK. Perhaps there was some reason for that — that it can be explained away. But that’s what we know and that’s what we’re going to be looking into.”

John Solomon, appearing on “Hannity” later Wednesday night told the host that about ten days ago he was tipped by “multiple contacts in the intelligence community” that there may have been some “inappropriate monitoring” of his communications.

Solomon said that it was not yet clear what was being monitored, but his sources had “raised the possibility that there were Privacy Act violations.”

“To date, my lawyers have not been able to get a full accounting of what happened,” he said. “It’s early, we should get to the bottom of it. As a journalist, it’s chilling to hear the possibility.”

Solomon told Hannity that this episode was not his “first rodeo” when it comes to being spied on by the government.

He said that in 2002 or 2003, then FBI Director Mueller—who would later become special counsel—and his team “had inappropriately intercepted my mail and kept it without a warrant.”

The journalist went on to tell Hannity that if he was indeed spied upon, “it is deeply troubling to me and it should be deeply troubling to all Americans.”

“I think we need to dig in more. Ambassador Yovanovitch should be given an opportunity and Secretary of State Pompeo should tell us what happened,” Solomon added.

Celebrity Tour Guide Rick Steves Vows to Pay a Self-Imposed $1M ‘Carbon Tax’

Television personality Rick Steves, host of the travel series Rick Steves’ Europe, is endorsing the idea of “carbon taxes” by paying one of his own, CBS reports.

Believing in the unsubstantiated claims of “global warming” affecting the environment, Steves – whose show has actively encouraged Americans to travel to Europe – announced that his company will begin donating $1 million every year to a variety of global warming groups.

Steves explained his rationale, saying that “We either need to be ethical or we need the government to force us to be ethical, or there’s not going to be any travelers around in a hundred years.”

Steves’ company leads roughly 30,000 people on tours of Europe every year, and his television series has been on the air since September of 2000. He said that he calculated the $1 million specifically to offset the carbon emissions of 30,000 flights between Europe and the United States.

Steves further expressed his support for government-mandated carbon taxes, saying that “I really think the way to do this is by government-imposed carbon taxes. If we had a carbon tax on air travel, travelers would be more honest.” He further downplayed the significance of travel for regular citizens, rhetorically asking “Should we be jetting all over the country to see football games, and going to people’s weddings and anniversaries?”

‘Sesame Street’ Character Addresses the Opioid Crisis

The long-running children’s education series Sesame Street will introduce a new character who addresses America’s ongoing opioid crisis, Fox News has reported.

The character is a green-and-yellow Muppet named Karli, living with foster parents who are suffering from an addiction to opioids. The Karli character will appear alongside a 10-year-old California girl named Salia Woodbury, whose parents actually suffered from the same addiction and have “been in recovery for eight years.”

The new character will address certain aspects of the crisis, including the sense of isolation among affected families who feel they are alone in their suffering, as well as how certain members of the family may feel responsible in some capacity for the victims’ addictions.

Senior content manager of the series Kama Einhorn said that the decision to address this issue was made because “there’s nothing else out there that addresses substance abuse for young, young kids from their perspective.” There are “5.7 million children under the age of 7” living in the United States with at least one parent who is dealing with substance abuse of some kind.

California Seeks to Abolish Private Prisons and Illegal Alien Detention Facilities

Governor of California Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) is set to sign a bill into law this week that will ban the practice of private companies running prisons and illegal alien detention facilities in the state of California, Reuters reports.

Supporters of the bill claim, without evidence, that private prisons “spend less on personnel, and are less safe,” than government-run facilities. Opponents of the bill point to the fact that such private facilities provide relief for government-run prisons when overcrowding occurs in the prison populations, including recent lawsuits that led to judges ordering decreases in certain inmate populations as a result.

The bill primarily targets private companies such as GEO Group and CoreCivic. There are only three private prisons remaining in California, which together house a collective total of 1,400 inmates. By also targeting illegal alien detention facilities, four such private facilities in California are also set to shut down, which would free over 4,000 illegal aliens.

The impending signing of this bill follows another significant leftward shift on the matter of prisons by some of the Democratic Party’s key figures. Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) recently came out in support of abolishing all prisons in the United States, both private and public.
