Google Deliberately Alters Search Results for Breitbart News

As the 2020 election draws nearer, search engine and tech giant Google is being exposed as engaging in election interference by artificially altering search results to negatively impact right-wing sites, as reported by Breitbart.

Breitbart reports that its own visibility on Google search results has been reduced by as much as 99.7 percent of its previous performance since the 2016 election. In contrast to its performance in April of 2016, when it was among the top ten search results for 355 key search terms, it now ranks in the top ten of only one such search term in the month of July of this year.

Overall search traffic to Breitbart from the Google search engine is down by 63 percent from 2016, with an accompanying graph showing the massive decline taking place abruptly in mid-2017.

The censorship has focused on several particular subjects, including Breitbart’s coverage of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. On May 1st, a search for Joe Biden on Google would generate as much as 30,000 views on Breitbart. But on May 5th, that number suddenly dropped to zero, in a move that was clearly an artificial alteration of the organic search results.

Big Tech censorship of conservatives has become even more apparent in 2020, with some platforms even directly censoring President Donald Trump. Most recently, President Trump spoke out in defense of a group of doctors who gave a press conference in front of the Supreme Court addressing misinformation about the coronavirus and explaining why Hydroxychloroquine is the most effective treatment of the virus yet; Twitter and other platforms have attempted to delete and suppress videos of the doctors’ comments, including temporarily suspending the account of Donald Trump Jr.

Andrew Cuomo Suspends Liquor Licenses for a Dozen NYC Bars

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) announced on Tuesday that he would use his executive authority to suspend the liquor licenses of 12 bars in the New York City area, all for alleged “egregious” violations of various lockdown measures, as reported by The Hill.

The announcement came after New York state government employees conducted over 1,300 “compliance checks” over the weekend, with an additional 644 conducte on Monday. Cuomo’s office claimed that the inspections revealed 158 different violations. Each bar could face fines as high as $10,000 for each individual violation.

With these 12 bars over the weekend, a total of 45 businesses across the state of New York have seen their liquor licenses revoked directly by Cuomo himself. The governor accused such businesses of “disrespecting” fellow New Yorkers who have made “sacrifices” in order to comply with various lockdown orders.

Cuomo, along with other Democratic governors, has been ridiculed for some of the more specific restrictions he has implemented regarding bars and other restaurants. Cuomo, along with California Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.), recently issued new guidelines on what constitutes a full meal, forcing certain restaurants and bars to sell more “substantial” amounts of food if they want to remain open.

City of Portland Attempts to Fine Federal Officers for Protecting Courthouse

Corrupt local officials in the city of Portland, Oregon are attempting to issue fines against the federal government over the measures that are being taken to protect a federal courthouse that is under constant assault from far-left domestic terrorists, as reported by Fox News.

Riots by Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and other far-left terror groups have forced the federal government to send more officers to protect the besieged courthouse, which has been subjected to attacks ranging from graffiti vandalism to a homemade explosive device being thrown at the building.

One of the measures federal officers have taken is erecting a metal fence around the perimeter of the courthouse to keep rioters away from the building. But Portland City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly (D-Ore.) claimed on Tuesday, without any evidence, that the fencing is blocking the streets surrounding the courthouse, and thus needs to be removed.

Eudaly, who falsely described the federal presence as a “federal occupation,” said that “we intend to collect” after levying a fine of $500 for every 15 minutes th fencing remains standing. She also dismissed the riots by falsely claiming that the violence was caused only by “a few” demonstrators, maintaining the lie that the vast majority of the demonstrators are peaceful.

Eudaly said that the city had received no response to its official request from the federal government, and says that the fine currently stands at about $192,000.

Barr “testifies” at Nadler, Democrat ambush

Did you watch A.G. Barr sit in a chair before the Jerry Nadler’s House Judiciary while Democrat famewhores roasted him? It was outrageous. If you tuned in to hear what Barr had to say, you were out of luck. The Democrats used their 5 minutes to scream and spit accusations at him but would not let him answer. It was clear the objective was to set up a negative narrative for the flying monkeys in the corporate media to echo for the evening clown shows. When the GOP had time to question Barr, they allowed him to answer some of the Democrat vitriol which meant their time was used up and they could not ask what they wanted. A well-coordinated ambush. CSPAN Host Remains Silent When Caller Threatens ‘a lot of Bloodshed’ Against Trump Supporters

Boris Epshteyn, President Donald Trump’s 2020 strategic adviser, scolded CSPAN host Jesse J. Holland for ignoring a caller who seemed to threaten Trump supporters with “bloodshed,” noting, “I don’t think we should keep going” when the host tried to take another call.

“This morning a Trump supporter was killed, was shot and killed in a drive-by in Milwaukee. I don’t know if you got that news, but the people in Milwaukee are waiting for those troops to come in because they got weapons, and it’s going to be a lot of bloodshed when they come, so that’s all I got to say,” the caller identified as a Democrat named John said.

Epshteyn reacted, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Now you’ve got people on your air threatening our lives? Is that what it is, Jesse?” Epshteyn asked when Holland attempted to move to the next caller.

“I don’t think we should keep going, we just had a caller call in that said shooting Trump supporters is right,” Epshteyn said. “Anybody who is a Democrat or independent should listen to what that gentlemen just said and realize where the Democrats are in this country. They’re threatening our lives. It is disgusting, it’s despicable and it’s criminal.”

The threatening call comes after this weekend saw the tragic shooting of a black Trump supporter in Milwaukee, who was identified as a well-liked fixture of the city’s Black community who supported Black Lives Matter and President Trump.

Bernell Trammell, 60 years old, was shot and killed Thursday afternoon before a storefront with signs in the window supporting Trump’s reelection. Trammell was a local business owner in the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee and ran a small business from the storefront.

Epshteyn said he hoped the Secret Service would investigate the caller but Holland didn’t respond and went straight to the next caller.

Notre Dame Withdraws from Hosting first Trump-Biden Debate

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced that the University of Notre Dame has withdrawn from hosting the first presidential debate on September 29, 2020.

The first of the three scheduled showdowns this fall between President Trump and former Vice President Biden is being moved from Indiana to Ohio, Fox News reported.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CDP) stated that the Sept. 29 debate will now be held co-hosted by Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic and held at the Health Education Campus (HEC) in Cleveland.

Notre Dame, which is located in South Bend, Indiana, withdrew due to health concerns after conferring with public health officials. University President Rev. John Jenkins made the announcement Monday, saying that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic would have required numerous changes to the program that would have impacted the “educational value” of hosting the debate.

Case Western Reserve University was the site of the 2004 vice presidential debate between Vice President Dick Cheney and Democrat John Edwards.

The commission announced last month that the second debate scheduled for October 15, will now take place in Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The debate was moved from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor after the school’s president said the event was “not feasible.”

The final Biden-Trump encounter is still scheduled to be hosted by Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 22. The vice presidential debate is scheduled for Oct. 7 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

According to Fox News, “Biden’s campaign last month reiterated that it’s agreed to participate in the three planned presidential debates – and criticized the Trump reelection campaign’s recent push for more debates as an “effort to change the subject” and “create a distracting ‘debate about debates.’”

Present Trump’s political team had called for more debates, an earlier start than scheduled, and having a say in the choice of moderators.

Rep. Jerry Nadler Calls Antifa Violence in Portland a ‘Myth’

In a viral video posted on Twitter, writer-producer Austen Fletcher caught up with New York Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler on his way to his vehicle. Fletcher asked the democrat to disavow the Antifa violence/rioting in Portland, Nadler replied “That’s a myth”, The New York Post reported.

“I ran into Jerry Nadler in DC and asked him to disavow the Antifa violence/rioting in Portland. His response? ‘THAT’S A MYTH,’” Fletcher said in a tweet along with the short video.

Before getting into his car, Nadler tells Fletcher that it’s a “myth that’s being spread only in Washington DC.”

The House Judiciary Committee Chairman was attacked for his comments on social media. Eric Trump blasted Nadler in a tweet.

“This is the Democratic Party in 2020,” Eric Trump said in a tweet.

Federal Judge Refuses to Stop Feds Protecting Besieged Courthouse

Judge Marco A. Hernandez initially drew the case in which the State of Oregon sought to stop federal officials from protecting his courthouse. But it was quickly reassigned to Judge Michael W. Mosman who kept his office in Eugene, Oregon. No doubt, Judge Hernandez reasoned that he might have had difficulty concentrating in his office in the Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse, in Portland Oregon. As federal officials suffered serious injuries while combatting arsonists attempting to burn the courthouse around the judge, he would have been weighing the request to send away the last ring of protection keeping him safe.

Some officers have permanently lost their eyesight from the lasers rioters use to blind them. So Judge Mosman’s location in Eugene spared him from the sounds of explosions and chants calling for the destruction of the Portland courthouse. Ignoring the chaos outside the Hatfield Courthouse, he applied the law even as the mob sought to tear down the walls protecting his colleagues in Portland.

Hysteria riddled the petition seeking the expulsion of federal protection for the Portland courthouse. Oregon AG Ellen F. Rosenblum breathlessly described two arrests made by federal officials as an American equivalent to the Chilean campaign to “disappear” and murder tens of thousands of political disadents. She wrote, “Ordinarily, a person exercising his right to walk through the streets of Portland who is confronted by anonymous men in military-type fatigues and ordered into an unmarked van can reasonably assume that he is being kidnapped and is the victim of a crime.” She warned, “Oregon’s citizens are at risk of kidnapping by militias and other civilian ‘volunteers’ taking it onto themselves to pull peaceful protesters into their cars…”

Rosenblum asked for several things in her petition. But among them was a general declaration from the judge that, “that the tactics described in this complaint violate the First Amendment rights of the State’s citizens by restraining their ability to gather in peaceful protest…” Since Rosenblum implicitly declared the mob attempting to raze the courthouse, “peaceful,” her victory would have eliminated the last obstacles to “peacefully” burning down the building with federal officials trapped inside.

Rosenblum wrote, “Citizens peacefully gathering on the streets of Portland to protest racial inequality have the right to gather and express themselves under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.” She boldly denied any justification or provocation for the arrests. She wrote, “Defendants’ actions are undertaken with the intent of discouraging lawful protest and therefore constitute an illegal prior restraint on the First Amendment right of Oregonians to peacefully protest racial inequality.” We don’t know whether Jjudge Mosman visited the scene of the Portland courthouse. But if he did, he would have seen firsthand the physical damage to the courthouse as protesters attempted to breach the walls protecting his fellow judges. He would have smelled the smoke rising from the many fires set by protestors. He might have feared for the physical safety of his fellow judges as he read Rosenblum’s fairytale of “peaceful” protestors.

Judge Mosman’s decision contained no hint of fear or political bias. In the midst of a battle to destroy the sister courthouse, he betrayed not one ounce of emotion. The judge was not persuaded by Rosenblum’s fantasy that counter-protesters would kidnap protestors. He wrote, “Oregon’s asserted interest …is entirely conjectural. First, the State candidly admits that it does not have a shred of evidence that counter-protesters have ever, anywhere, kidnapped a protester or anyone associated with protests. …Second, the asserted interest rests on an utterly implausible inference. The State’s reasoning is that counter-protesters, once they learn of seizures of protesters by federal agents, will dress up like police and go out on private missions to kidnap protesters. …[T]he idea that seizures by law enforcement will lead to kidnappings by private parties is a bridge too far.”

Contradicting Rosenblum’s claim that federal arrests of Oregoneons were part of an authoritarian campaign against free speech, the judge wrote, “Despite the broad language in the complaint, Oregon has shown—at most— that this type of seizure has happened twice.” The court concluded with tepid dismissiveness, “The State’s argument, regardless of how it is framed, rests on too little evidence…. The State has not met its burden to show that it has standing to seek injunctive relief, and I find that it does not have that standing. The State’s motion is therefore denied, as a temporary restraining order is unavailable on the record presented here.”

Rosenblum issued a post-decision public statement ensuring Oregonians that she would continue defending their “constitutional” rights to continue doing what they have been doing now for two months. She wrote, “We will continue to seek ways to fight to ensure the rights of every Oregonian to peacefully protest are preserved.”

Rep. Jordan Opens AG Barr Hearing with Brutal Video Highlighting Antifa Violence, Looting and Rioting

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr Tuesday morning, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) the ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, went over the heads of the corporate media to show a brutal video highlighting the violence and mayhem of the Black Lives Matter and antifa mobs.

Rep. Jordan opened his remarks by skillfully running through all of the evidence that proves the Obama administration spied on the opposition party and President  Trump during and after the 2016 election.

Jordan then played the nearly eight minute video, which starts out with a montage of media and Democrat politicians describing the riots as “peaceful protests.”

The video goes on to expose what Democrats and the media don’t want the American people to see—the horrific violence on streets across the nation being perpetrated by their domestic terrorist allies.

Vote-By-Mail Draws in Millions From Wealthy Donors, on Both Sides

The battle over whether or not to legalize “vote-by-mail” in the November election has led to over $100 million being collectively poured into the effort on both sides, according to ABC News.

On the pro-vote-by-mail side, among other organizations, is George Soros’s Open Society. Open Society spokeswoman Laleh Ispahani, claimed that “the pandemic has created a state of emergency,” and that as such, “donors who haven’t typically taken on these issues now have an interest.” Such groups have already collectively donated over $6 million to the state of Wisconsin in an effort to legalize vote-by-mail in the crucial swing state.

On the anti-vote-by-mail side are organizations including Judicial Watch, the Honest Elections Project, True the Vote, and the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which are using their resources to fight vote-by-mail in the courts. Much of the funding for this effort comes from the conservative group Donors Trust, which is aimed at protecting the anonymity of wealthy donors who donate to political causes. Also involved in the effort is the Republican National Committee, which has already given at least $20 million in the fight to litigate vote-by-mail measures.

Vote-by-mail is described by proponents as a “safe” method of conducting elections in the midst of a pandemic, while its critics point out that it makes elections far more susceptible to voter fraud. Other controversial practices that are being pursued by left-wing groups include ballot-harvesting, the practice of third parties collecting and depositing ballots on behalf of voters, which is illegal in every state except for California; the legalization of the practice in the state in 2016 led to numerous Democratic victories in the 2018 midterms, including multiple seats that were stolen by voter fraud.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Demands an End to Military Recruitment in Schools

Radical Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has introduced several measures into the House of Representatives that would strip funding from the United States military’s efforts to maintain recruitment efforts in school, as reported by The Hill.

The socialist congresswoman unveiled two new amendments to the upcoming defense appropriations bill aimed at shutting down the military’s recruitment budget in American schools, as well as barring them from maintaining an online presence on such platforms as the streaming website Twitch.

Ocasio-Cortez attempted to justify her anti-military measures by falsely claiming that “children in low-income communities are persistently targeted for enlistment.” She further claimed, without evidence, that “the military…starts feeling like the only option for many young, low-income Americans.”

Although the military has already ceased all of its activities on the Twitch platform – which included members of the military streaming video games such as “Call of Duty” – Ocasio-Cortez also called for an end to the military’s right to youth outreach via the platform, saying that it was “incredibly irresponsible…to be recruiting impressionable young people and children via live streaming platforms.”

These are the latest actions from a prominent far-left politician who has frequently attacked American law enforcement ever since she was first elected in 2018. Ocasio-Cortez spearheaded the “abolish ICE” campaign aimed at all but eliminating immigration laws and pushing for open borders, including multiple lies about the conditions of detention centers for illegal aliens. She has also become a leading figure in the “defund the police” movement, rejecting attempts by more moderate voices to tone down the movement’s rhetoric and insisting that she wants police completely defunded, if not outright abolished, all across America.

Jerry Nadler Falsely Describes Antifa Violence as ‘A Myth’

Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, recently and falsely described the violence from the far-left terrorist group Antifa as “a myth” in a contentious exchange outside Capitol Hill, as reported by The Daily Caller.

While walking outside the Capitol, Nadler was approached by YouTuber Austen “Fleccas” Fletcher, who specializes in interviews in the informal style of “man-on-the-street” videos. When Fletcher asked Nadler if he would “disavow the violence from Antifa that’s happening in Portland now,” Nadler responded with “that’s, that’s, that’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, D.C.”

Nadler’s comments are objectively false, as Antifa has been rioting nonstop for almost 60 days in the notoriously liberal city of Portland. Rioters have been targeting a federal courthouse that has since come under the protection of federal agents. Rioters frequently throw objects, including glass bottles and fireworks, at the agents, and have also been recorded shining lasers into their eyes to try to blind them.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler (D-Ore.) appeared at a riot to express his support for the rioters and to denounce the federal agents, but was eventually mobbed by the rioters after they determined he was not far-left enough, and he was chased back into a secure building by his security detail.

Although much of the nationwide violence caused by Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and other terror groups has slowed down in comparison to its peak over a month ago, violence is still ongoing in a handful of cities such as Portland, New York, and Chicago.

Morning Greatness: A.G. Barr to Testify Before Nadler’s House Judiciary Drum Circle

Good Tuesday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president has no public events scheduled.

Barr to testify before kangaroo congressional drum circle

On Tuesday, Attorney General Bill Barr will testify before the House Judiciary Committee. The Hill writes:

The hearing is likely to be contentious, with Democrats demanding answers about his handling of high-level prosecutions of President Trump’s associates, pressing Barr about what they see as the politicization of the Department of Justice and grilling him about his recent role in the clearing of peaceful protesters outside the White House so that Trump could stage a photo-op in front of a historic church that was vandalized during protests demonstrating against police brutality and the police killing of George Floyd.

I am here for this, I highly recommend you tune in at 10amET. You can watch on the Committee’s website here. Read Barr’s opening remarks below, he’s coming in hot.

DHS Agent: Portland Rioters ‘Mentally Ill,’ ‘Drug Abusers,’ ‘Catatonic With Hate’

The deranged antifa mob that has rioted in Portland, Oregon for 60 consecutive days is full of “mentally ill, frothing-at-the-mouth individuals” who seem “almost catatonic with hate,” according to a DHS agent who shared his impressions of the situation anonymously to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

Last week, federal agents were deployed to Portland in a mission called Operation Diligent Valor to protect downtown’s Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse.

The DHS agent called the situation “surreal,” and hypothesized that the violent agitators have projected their hatred of the president onto the federal courthouse.

You get large, nonviolent demonstrations where people march, they chant, they give speeches, then shortly after are replaced with a smaller crowd, though still large, who immediately start trying to break into and destroy the federal courthouse.

They have transposed their hatred for the president and for law enforcement onto the physical structure of the federal courthouse, and the uniformed personnel whose job is to protect that courthouse.

They throw homemade Molotov cocktails, try to set the walls on fire, try to cut and pry through the plywood covering the glass walls, all the while screaming vitriol until their voices are cracked and hoarse. When DHS personnel are visible, they throw frozen water bottles at them, canned goods, paint and gasoline.

They try to shine high powered lasers into our eyes, which can cause permanent damage.

The agent pointed out the pointless absurdity of agitators objecting to the presence of DHS personnel protecting the building.

“They chant and spray paint ‘feds go home’ as one of their slogans, and that could be easily achieved,” he explained. “If they could prove they wouldn’t destroy the courthouse, DHS personnel would go home. It is that simple.”

He went on to contrast the behavior of the federal law enforcement officers with the hostile hatred of the demented antifa mob.

The law enforcement officers involved are some of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever worked with. From several different agencies, they have come from around the country. Everyone is kind, generous, sharing food, giving each other rides home, and offering to host or show around each other in their home towns in the future. West Virginia, Idaho, Georgia, everyone is supportive, walks around with a smile and a pat on the back.

Once they step out the doors of the courthouse, though, they are met with a hostile hatred from fellow citizens I consider unmatched in my life. I have seen mentally ill, frothing-at-the-mouth individuals screaming at people in front of liquor stores or Walmart parking lots, but that is one single, unhinged individual. Multiply that by 1,000 people, standing 10-20 yards in front of you, who also have rocks and other hidden weapons.

The DHS officer went on to describe the “surreal” hatred of the “mentally ill” agitators, who are not above hurling racist invective at black agents.

As the night goes on, the rioters become so hateful it is surreal. Their voices hoarse, their sentences jumbled, they seem almost catatonic with hate. The unrest seems to draw the mentally ill and drug abusers. Some seem to be both. The officers stand calmly, listening to it, taking it, only making a move if the rioters try to destroy the property or enter the area they have been told repeatedly not to enter. They [the agents] don’t even respond to thrown projectiles, merely calmly dodging them. Some of the things screamed at us, ad nauseum:

“Go home! You’re Nazis, racists, the Gestapo! Fuck you, fuck your mom, you suck! Quit your job and go fuck yourself! I’m going to get all your fucking names!”

I’m seeing African American Federal Protective Service inspectors, twenty year’s law enforcement officer, being called the N-word to their face for the first time in their careers, by a scrawny, pasty white booger-eating communist shithead.

The DHS employee described some of the mental cases federal agents have to deal with day in and day out.

We get more surreal things yelled at us. One guy kept repeating, “You shot my fucking dog!” over and over, but we have seen zero dogs anywhere at any point. One guy wanders down the skirmish line when things are more in control and says, “Why are you shooting at them? You don’t need to. Their shields are made of cardboard. There’s no threat. No one is armed…” And he repeats that night after night with a backpack full of wildflowers, which he places everywhere.

Much of it is contradictory. One rioter begged to be shot, begged, but then screamed that we were guilty of shooting people. He told us to lay down our weapons and join them, and then said he would kick all our asses.

He told CIS that the rioters would be “overjoyed” if they got a non-lethal gunshot wound from DHS personnel because they all want to be a “famous” victim of police brutality,” and be the one who “irreversibly turned the tide against DHS and the administration.”

Meanwhile, the hated and reviled DHS officers are getting injured on a nightly basis from various weapons, including “rudimentary IEDs,” the officer said.

Regarding injuries to agents, I personally saw an agent get hit in the leg with a bottle and limp back from the skirmish line. I saw video of another agent hit similarly and limp back. One DHS law enforcement officer had irritant thrown on his arms, which turned them red and caused a burn. Another guy had a firework explode directly on his chest. The use of fireworks has increased every night.

There’s no intel of actual firearms. We picked up unexploded aerosol cans taped to commercial-grade fireworks, so rudimentary IEDs [Improvised Explosive Devices] are a thing too.

He concluded by saying that they are in a “lose-lose” situation.

“If federal law enforcement leaves, we lose face, but we walk away with stacks of overtime pay, and we get to go home,” he explained.

But on the other hand, by leaving, they would hand the left a propaganda victory amidst the smoldering ashes of downtown Portland, the DHS agent added.

“They get to say they defeated Trump, and they will have caused tens of millions of monetary loss to their downtown local businesses, and will have a ransacked and torched a courthouse in the heart of their city,” he said.

It’s still not clear who helps fund and organize the antifa rioters who in multiple cities across the nation appear increasingly armed with various weapons and fireworks, as well as helmets, umbrellas, makeshift shields, and even catered meals.

According to former federal prosecutor Jim Trusty, the DOJ will probably be indicting people as part of its probe into antifa.

“I think there’s a real good chance this Justice Department ends up identifying and indicting antifa financiers, or people associated with antifa,” adding that it could be “a bit of a bombshell,” Trusty said on Fox News, last month.

Mike Ditka Says Kneeling Athletes Should ‘Get the Hell Out of the Country’

Hall of Fame NFL coach and Pitt Panther Mike Ditka said athletes who kneel during the national anthem should “get the hell out of the country.”

Ditka, 80, reiterated his stance after strongly criticizing former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others for starting the solidarity movement with Black Lives Matter back in 2016, the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd hasn’t changed Ditka’s outlook, New York Post reports.

In an interview with TMZ Sports about his women’s pro football X League, Ditka was asked if his players would be allowed to kneel during the national anthem.

“No,” he replied.

“That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned,” the former broadcaster went on. “So, I’m only going to say what I feel … You don’t protest against the flag, and you don’t protest against this country who’s given you the opportunities to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen. So, I don’t want to hear all the crap.”

Both MLB and NBA leagues have granted players the opportunity to voice their support of the BLM movement through their uniforms and other apparel worn during warm-ups.

Large Turnout at Long Island’s ‘Back the Blue’ Rally

More than 1,000 people holding “thin blue line” and American flags packed Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York, on Saturday for a Back the Blue rally.

The rally, which was sponsored by the nonprofit organization Law Enforcement Officers Weekend, drew crowds from police departments and members of the community across Long Island and New York City. Many showed up in support of President Donald Trump.

Nassau County Police Benevolent Association President James McDermott, the police union leader spoke about the strong relationship between the police and the community.

“We don’t have these problems here in Nassau County,” McDermott said. “We have tremendous relationships in all communities, including the minority communities, and they trust us and we worked on that. We fostered these relationships.”

“Back the Blue” demonstrations have gotten support in other areas. More than 1,000 people gathered in Wantagh, New York, to express their support for the police earlier this month, reported.

A counter-protest was also held at the park. Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said that police were committed to making sure everyone can exercise their freedom of speech.

Ryder said the group applied for a permit but did not get one, as Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s mandate includes not having gatherings over 50 people, according to Long Island News News 12.

Pelosi Vows to Block Coronavirus Liability Protections

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” Sunday that Democrats will not support liability protections for employers of “essential workers” in the next coronavirus package.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) previously said inclusion of liability protections for businesses and doctors was mandatory for any agreement on a coronavirus relief bill. “If there’s any red line, it’s on litigation,” he said. He added, “If there is another bill that passes in the Senate, it will include the liability protections,” Breitbart reports.

Pelosi said the Democrat party’s opposition to liability protections for “essential” businesses was about workers’ health and safety and argued that liability protection would fail to make employers responsible for ensuring workplaces are safe while also providing no recourse for workers who do get sick.

Allowing workers to sue employers for allegations of negligence related to coronavirus is about “responsibility,” she said.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Some of the companies and even universities out there have said that they do need some kind of liability protections. Is — are you open to a deal that includes that?

SPEAKER PELOSI: Well, there are some suggestions that relate to academics to schools and the rest. We have an initiative in California to that respect, but what we will not support is the following: What they’re saying to essential workers, you have to go to work because you’re essential. We’ve placed no responsibility on your employer to make that workplace safe and if you get sick, you have no recourse because we’ve given your employer protection. And if you don’t go to work because you’re afraid of being sick and you have that job opportunity, you don’t get unemployment insurance. This is so unfair. Let’s just get to the heart of it. At the point of all of this is, this president — I have a new name for him, Mr. Make Matters Worse. He has made matters worse from the start. Delay, denial. It’s a hoax. It’ll go away magically. It’s a miracle, and all the rest. And we’re in this situation with — you spelled out some of the numbers very clearly early. So it makes matters worse — now then we send our children to school. The best way to send our children school is to fund it, to fund it. The ventilation —

PELOSI: The spacing, the additional teachers and to lower the infection rate in the community in which they exist. That takes money.

“Companies have said they could be vulnerable to a wave of lawsuits if their workers get sick during the pandemic,” Axios reported. Democrats are the largest recipients of political donations from lawyers, law firms and liability lobbyists.

Chicago Mayor Orders Removal of Christopher Columbus Statues in the City

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D-Ill.) has ordered the removal of several statues of iconic explorer Christopher Columbus, after violent protests at the monuments have seen police attacked by Antifa and Black Lives Matter terrorists, as reported by the Chicago Tribune.

Following the outbreaks of violence, Lightfoot ordered city workers to remove the Columbus statues located in Grant Park and Arrigo Park, with both memorials coming down early Friday morning, in the dead of night.

Lightfoot attempted to justify the city-sanctioned iconoclasm with a statement, claiming that the move was made “in response to demonstrations that became unsafe for both protesters and police…this step is an effort to protect public safety and to preserve a safe space for an inclusive and democratic public dialogue about our city’s symbols.”

Viral videos depicted a ring of Chicago police officers surrounding the Columbus statue at Grant Park, with a mob of rioters throwing various objects at them in an almost nonstop barrage, including glass bottles and fireworks, injuring nearly 50 officers in a single day. Although the statue was eventually covered by a massive tarp, Lightfoot eventually ordered the final removal of the statue, moving it to an unknown location.

Chicago has seen a significant increase in violence in recent months, with Lightfoot being one of the prime examples of a Democratic mayor in a big city who has largely allowed far-left rioters and domestic terrorists to wreak havoc on her city, due to largely sharing their politics.Last week, President Donald Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr announced the expansion of the Department of Justice’s “Operation Legend,” to send over 200 federal officers from various agencies into Chicago to quell the violence. Despite an initial public condemnation of the president and his efforts, Lightfoot eventually caved to the president after a phone call and allowed him to deploy the federal forces to her city.

Local Police Begin Defying Orders to Enforce Public Mask Mandates

Although some states are now pushing their coronavirus lockdown measures to the extreme and demanding all citizens wear masks in public, some law enforcement agencies at the local levels are refusing to enforce those orders, according to ABC News.

One such example is the police department in the town of Marshall, Arkansas. Despite Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-Ark.) officially signing an order forcing civilians across the state to wear masks, Police Chief Lang Holland has said that his officers will not force anyone to do so, nor will they wear masks themselves.

Chief Holland said that people “have the freedom to choose” whether or not they wear a mask, and that such a move “should not be dictated by the nanny state.”

A similar example, also located in Arkansas, is found in Lonoke County. There, Sheriff John Staley said that while he agrees with Governor Hutchinson’s mask decision, his department will not “be out writing tickets for masks,” primarily because they simply do not have the manpower needed to enforce such an arbitrary rule.

Similar acts of civil rebellion by police forces have occurred in Texas, Montana, and Alabama, among other states. And even those who supported forced mask mandates, such as professor Cam Patterson of the University of Arkansas, admitted that “nobody’s asking for a mask gestapo…We’re just asking for good behavior and support from our local communities.”

The issue of masks has remained at the state level, with President Donald Trump saying that Americans have the right to choose for themselves whether or not they should wear masks, and that the government should not enforce such a rule.
