Dear Hillary: Conservative Women are Honey Badgers, Not ‘Handmaidens’

A bitter Hillary Clinton recently belittled conservative women, calling us “handmaidens to the patriarchy”—a demeaning reference from the dystopian novel A Handmaid’s Tale, in which women are subjected to sexual slavery by men.

Hillary’s miserable marital relationship with a known womanizer has obviously impacted her outlook on other women. Yet that’s no excuse to attack a large swath of the American public.

Hillary should realize conservative women are more like honey badgers than handmaidens and stop projecting her own insecurities onto the world. She needs to look in the mirror and see her own handmaid’s outfit. Hillary defended her philandering husband after he took advantage of young women—using one of them to pleasure himself in the Oval Office. Not only was he guilty of infidelity, but he also made a mockery of the presidency.

Hillary belittled women and demonized male leaders in a single statement. As a proud conservative woman, I value the strong men in my life and the important patriarchal roles they play in our family. According to Oxford, a patriarch is the male head of a family or tribe. This nation needs more families with strong patriarchs, not fewer. Children are suffering because fathers aren’t present in their lives. Our country is foundering because men are no longer valued as leaders of their families, thanks to people like Hillary who degrade them.

What does Hillary think of patriarchs such as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who are the foundation of the world’s three major religions? Are women of faith “handmaidens” because we admire these strong biblical leaders?

Conservative Honey Badgers Don’t Back Down

When I served as an elected school board member during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was attacked relentlessly by far-left females because I wanted to return children to school. Then I was attacked by those same women because I didn’t want minors exposed to pornographic books in schools. The attacks continued for a variety of reasons, but I never backed down. It was so bad that I could have presented a cure for cancer and still been relentlessly attacked by unhinged leftists simply because I’m a strong conservative woman.

After that, my husband began to refer to me as a “honey badger.”

The honey badger is known for being a fearless animal who stands up to larger predators. Their thick skin protects them from bites and stings that would incapacitate other animals. Conservative women have developed that same thick skin and are ready to defend our communities and families. We also aren’t afraid to support, respect, and value strong male leaders, many of whom are our husbands, sons, and colleagues.

Just because there are strong men leading our government doesn’t change the fact that President Trump has surrounded himself with some of the strongest female leaders in the nation. Susie Wiles, Tulsi Gabbard, Pam Bondi, Caroline Leavitt, and Linda McMahon are just a few of those honey badgers who are fighting to strengthen our nation and keep us safe.

It’s time to stop devaluing strong masculine leadership. While the Democrats have Tampon Tim Walz as their role model, I’d prefer a man who gets shot in the head and immediately stands up, raises his fist, and yells “fight.”

  1. Anytime HRC starts to lecture anyone on just about any topic, I stop paying attention. She is a liar, a fraud, a morally & ethically bankrupt individual. Opposition for the sake of opposition isn’t principled; it is either the lashing out of the perpetual adolescent who has never learned the value of self-control or the calculated actions of a veteran manipulator. A truly strong woman is in no way diminished by strong men but that is not a concept that is acceptable to a political ideology that has spent decades infantilizing women or the individuals who subscribe to it.

  2. I read The Handmaid’s Tale many moons ago and I thought then that Margaret Atwood didn’t have a clue about women. Probably because she’s a clueless lefty. Like Hillary.
