The House Subcommittee Delivering On Government Efficiency (DOGE) is investigating USA Fencing over its defiance of President Trump’s executive orders forbidding federal funding for schools who allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.
Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) welcomed today’s hearing and the chance to question American Fencing officials over their determination to allow biological males to compete against biological females.
Happy DOGE day!💰🪓🏦🤺
We are READY to question and investigate USA Fencing for their ABUSE against women by allowing mentally-ill men to compete against them.
We must keep deranged trans ideology out of women’s sports! TUNE IN today at 2 P.M. 📺 https://t.co/OuAiEYBy17

USA Fencing has been under fire since Stephanie Turner, a biological female, took a knee and refused to face her biological male opponent Redmond Sullivan in a match last month.
Turner received a “black card” for her actions and was disqualified from her tournament and escorted off the premises.
In a post on X, the DOGE Committee wrote, “Let’s be clear: Allowing biological males to dominate women’s sports isn’t “inclusivity”—it’s systemic fraud. Stephanie Turner’s disqualification for refusing to face a male opponent exposed the rot.”
The comment continued, “Title IX exists to protect women’s opportunities, not erase them. USA Fencing’s woke policies prioritize ideology over safety and fairness, wasting taxpayer dollars on legal battles to defend the indefensible.”
The committee expressed hope that the federal probe would dismantle the “farce” and enforce the executive order allowing women to compete on a level playing field.
USA Fencing had earlier released a statement to Outkick stating, “USA Fencing enacted our current transgender and non-binary athlete policy in 2023. The policy was designed to expand access to the sport of fencing and create inclusive, safe spaces. The policy is based on the principle that everyone should have the ability to participate in sports and was based upon the research available of the day.”
By hiding behind the “available research” and choosing to ignore reality, the bureaucratic gaslighting of female athletes isn’t showing signs of stopping on its own.
