The woman caught on camera keying a Tesla in Issaquah, WA last week, has been identified as Kamelia Enzler, a millionaire fitness coach. Enzler, 55, is married to Jeff Enzler, the lead software engineer at DocuSign, the Daily Mail reported. She’s facing criminal charges of Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree in what Issaquah Police have determined to be a “road rage” incident.
The Enzlers live in a $1.5million home in Bellevue, a suburb of Seattle, according to the Mail.
They bought the property for $280,000 in 1998, according to public records and have since made a fortune on the home. Enzler has deleted her Linked In and social media accounts, but, according to public records, she owns a fitness company called IPEAK FITNESS.
“Shame on them,” posted Tesla CEO Elon Musk on X Thursday in response to the story.
DocuSign has contributed heavily to Democrats in recent years—95 percent in the 2020 election and 96 percent in the 2024 election, according to Open Secrets.
Local reporter Jonathan Choe shared footage on social media of Enzler vandalizing another driver’s Tesla Model Y on March 20 at the Issaquah Commons shopping center.
The video shows the woman angrily exiting her Toyota 4Runner, approaching the Tesla, swiping it with a key, and then calmly returning to her own car.
According to Choe, the Tesla driver had been backing out of a parking spot with a child in the back seat just before the incident.
“That’s when she made eye contact with the Karen, who allegedly flipped her off for no reason,” Choe said.
Then Enzler lumbered over to her car, “yelled a few words, and scratched up the driver’s side door with her key,” the journalist added.
While the vandalism appears similar to countless other keying attacks on Teslas caught on camera in recent weeks, Issaquah Police said in a statement that investigators have “confirmed” that the altercation “stemmed from a road rage incident,” rather than “the politically motivated attacks that have previously targeted Teslas and their owners.”
The police have not provided further details on what allegedly triggered Enzler’s rage.
According to Choe, local media outlets have been strangely silent on Enzler’s shocking behavior.
“Not a single Seattle area news outlet has picked up on this story even after Issaquah PD sent out a press release corroborating my reporting,” he pointed out on X. “I wonder why?”
Issaquah police have filed the criminal charges with Issaquah’s prosecutor’s office.
Dozens of vandals have been caught on video keying Tesla vehicles in recent weeks as part of a leftwing backlash against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration.
Attacks on Teslas around the Puget Sound have been especially plentiful, according to KIRA 7 News. A tesla camera caught a vandal aggressively keying a Tesla last Sunday, proudly filming himself as he did so.
Tesla showrooms, vehicle lots, charging stations and privately owned cars have also been targeted with graffiti and firebombs. In a few cases, individual drivers have even been harassed on the road while driving in their Teslas.
Left-wing organizers have planned a “global day of action” to “Take Down” Tesla on March 29, aiming for protests at 277 locations in the U.S. and 500 Tesla locations around the world.
