An IT executive was allegedly caught on camera keying a Tesla Cybertruck in a hotel parking lot in New Hampshire over the weekend. Kerri Pouliot, the owner of the vehicle, said in a post on X that the vandalism happened within an hour of her arrival at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa in Bretton Woods on Saturday.
The alleged perpetrator, James “Jim” Pelis, is a regional sales director for Armorcode, an AI-powered Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform used by security and development teams, according to his LinkedIn.
His alleged partner in crime, Charles Smith, is Head of Business Development at Celent, a research and advisory firm focused on technology for financial institutions, according to his LinkedIn.
Both men were immediately banned from the hotel following the incident, according to Pouliot.
When questioned by police, Pelis denied several times that he’d had anything to do with the vandalism.
“I don’t know what happened,” he said, despite the video evidence appearing to show him keying the vehicle.
“Well, we have it on camera,” the officer told him.
“Okay,” Pelis replied.
Carroll Police Chief Tadd A. Bailey said in a statement to American Greatness Tuesday that the incident is currently under investigation by the Carroll Police Department and the Coos County Attorney’s Office.
Pelis is facing felony charges pending the investigation.
Dozens of vandals have been caught on video keying Tesla vehicles in recent weeks as part of a leftwing backlash against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration.
Left-wing organizers have planned a “global day of action” to “Take Down” Tesla on March 29, aiming for protests at 277 locations in the U.S. and 500 Tesla locations around the world.

ArmorCode has been made aware of an incident where one of our employees allegedly vandalized a Tesla vehicle. We of course do not condone violence or destruction of private property in any way, period. This is now in the hands of the proper authorities.
Once upon a long time ago, when I was around 8 years old my father displeased me, offended my delicate childlike sensibilities and thwarted my desire to have, whatever it was, that I deemed was my rightful right to have right then and there.
When that happened? I literally stamped my foot to express my umbrage at his thinking he had the right to impose his parental will on me. Needless to say, that didn’t get me very far then - and?
This act of virtue signaling criminality won’t get these nasty, evil, viler than vile, rotten to their bereft of rhyme, reason and integrity cores Lefist partisan hacks - any good results in the end either.
Perhaps once they are charged with whatever statute they violated; hopefully lose their jobs (who would want a “security” firm’s products whose employees people engage in domestic terrorism? - or want to employ people who obviously have no respect for others rights and freedom of expression, to live their lives as they choose, see fit? Certainly not I.
But - I think none of us are surprised by their actions or that of the LEFT currently.
These self-appointed, elite guardians of “Our Democracy”? Literally are incapable of thinking rationally; having long ago given total allegiance to the lie that is their ideology; that what it is built upon.
They are worse than I was at 8; because they are in adult bodies and can - and are obviously willing - to cause damage not to just cars but more than likely happy as clams to see?
To see cities set afire, burn down, cause riots, businesses to be destroy, people maimed or killed because?
They refuse to see things their way - and should know better than to disagree with they who are the cognoscenti who are “on the right side of history”.
For whom - it don’t make no never mind how many get hurt, maimed for life or die - because after all - their actions are justified, because?
