Trump Buys Red Luxury Tesla to Show Support For Elon Musk

President Trump bought a red luxury Tesla sedan Tuesday to show support for his DOGE Chief Elon Musk.
Trump proudly showed the new vehicle off on the White House driveway as he delivered remarks alongside Musk and his young son, X.

Multiple Tesla vehicles, including the Cybertruck model, were also on display outside the White House, Tuesday afternoon.

“Wow,” Trump said as he sat in the driver’s seat of a Model S Plaid. “That’s beautiful.”

Trump told reporters that he would buy the $80,000 sedan and leave it at the White House for his staff to drive.

“I’m going to buy because number one, it’s a great product. As good as it gets. Number two, because this man [pointing to Musk] has devoted his energy and his life to doing this, and I think he has been treated unfairly by a very small group of people,” Trump told reporters outside the White House.

“You can’t be penalized for being a patriot—and he’s a great patriot and he’s done an incredible job with Tesla,” the president added.

Trump first announced on Truth Social Monday night that he would buy a Tesla in support of Musk.

“To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!” Trump wrote. “But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for.”

The President continued: “They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American. Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???”

Tesla’s stock has been plummeting since late last year, suffering a 50 percent drop, with many leftist Tesla owners experiencing buyers remorse since Musk came out in support of Trump and his policies.

Left-wing groups have organized protests at Tesla dealerships across the country to oppose Musk’s work cutting waste fraud and abuse in the U.S. government.

After several Tesla vehicles were vandalized in car lots and on the streets, Trump floated the idea of labelling the Tesla dealership protesters as “domestic terrorists.”

When asked about this, Trump responded, “I will do that, I’ll do it. I’m going to stop them.”

Undeterred by the backlash, Musk announced Tuesday that he would ramp up production of Tesla vehicles.

“As a function of the great policies of President Trump and his administration, and as an act of faith in America, Tesla is going to DOUBLE vehicle output in the United States within the next two years,” he stated.
