Trump Revokes Biden’s Security Clearances: ‘JOE, YOU’RE FIRED’

President Donald Trump announced late Friday afternoon that he has revoked Joe Biden’s security clearances and daily intelligence briefings, explaining that due to the 82-year-old’s declining mental state, he cannot be trusted with sensitive information.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.”

Trump pointed out that the action was not unprecedented. Joe Biden early in his presidency barred Trump from receiving intelligence briefings even though they had typically been given to other former presidents.

“He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump stated.

“The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from “poor memory” and, even in his “prime,” could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

 

Biden told CBS News in an interview on February 5, 2021, that Trump was “unfit to be president” and that his “erratic behavior” made him unworthy of being allowed access to classified information.

“I think not,” Biden said when asked if Trump should receive intelligence briefings. “Because of his erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection.”

Biden added, “I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”

The Article III Project’s Mike Davis said on Fox News Friday night that Biden has proved he’s too mentally unfit and corrupt to be entrusted with the nation’s secrets.

“President Trump correctly made the determination that President Biden cannot be trusted with classified information with his cognitive failure, along with his mishandling of classified records,” Davis told Fox host Laura Ingraham, before pointing out that Biden had been caught with “five stashes of stolen classified records.”
