YouTube Bans House Freedom Caucus-Affiliated Channel

On Monday, the video-sharing platform YouTube suddenly banned a channel associated with the House Freedom Caucus, with no prior warning ahead of the decision.

As reported by Breitbart, the channel for the caucus’s super PAC, House Freedom Action (HFA), was deleted and now simply directs to an error page reading “This page isn’t available.” The channel had been used to post advertisements from HFA, including TV and YouTube ads.

The only reason given by YouTube was that the HFA channel “wasn’t following our policy on Spam, deceptive practices and scams,” according to a message left by YouTube for the administrators of the channel. “We removed it to protect our community,” the message added.

As with all other deleted channels, YouTube has given the HFA a chance to appeal its ban.

“We’ll help you figure out what went wrong, and how you might be able to resolve it,” the message reads. “First, check out the reason we removed your channel. After you’ve had a chance to review, you can decide whether to appeal.”

“This isn’t the first time Marc Elias and the Democrat slime machine have tried muzzling and removing House Freedom Action ads from TV, radio stations, and social media,” said Allison Weisenberger, the political director of the HFA. “During this fall’s elections, HFA’s ads were so effective and vicious in exposing left-wing Democrat candidates that Elias sent threatening letters to TV stations demanding removal of our ads. His censorship wasn’t successful.”

“The fact is, every single word in our ads are true,” Weisenberger continued. “The truth hurts. YouTube was happy to take HFA money in the fall, but in removing our account from their platform, they’ve caved to Elias’ muzzling campaign.”

YouTube is owned by tech giant Google. With these two sites under its control, Google controls the top two most-visited websites in the world, with Google’s search engine being the top website and YouTube being second.

Apparently Google wants to align with Dem resistance. Maybe, they expect Trump to continue the Biden-initiated breakaway of Googlechrome and now seek allies across the isle.
