A Win for Justice and the Defeat of Lawfare

Ding-dong, the persecution of President Trump is over. The prosecution is all but dead, because their case—their meritless and malicious attempt to make a case—is about to end. From Jack Smith to Letitia James to Alvin Bragg, the persecutors—the prosecutors in name only—are in retreat. The practitioners of lawfare and the enemies of justice no longer have the means to harass, bankrupt, or imprison President Trump. Had President Trump not won such a decisive victory on the first Tuesday in November, today—the last Tuesday in November—would have been much different. Had the Democrats won on November 5th, President Trump would have lost on November 26th: the date when Judge Juan Merchan would have sentenced him to prison. What a difference a day makes. What a difference it is to have 76.8 million votes and 312 electoral votes, in addition to majorities in both houses of Congress. What a difference President Trump’s Cabinet nominees will make, particularly when it comes to law and order, and agriculture, and labor, and diplomacy.

Start with Pam Bondi, President Trump’s pick for attorney general. She has what Smith, James, and Bragg lack: wisdom. She supports the very thing these individuals oppose: prosecutorial discretion. As Florida’s first female attorney general, Bondi was tough but fair. Like her fellow nominees, Bondi represents a win for the brilliant, the bold, and the brave. Call it the Three Bs of MAGA and successful leadership in general. Here she is at President Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City. I was there too. I had the honor of listening to her speak. I applauded when she said President Trump surrounds himself with brilliant women.

The same is true for Brooke Rollins, President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Agriculture. As president and CEO of the America First Policy Institute, Rollins knows what President Trump wants. As his former domestic policy advisor, Rollins knows what President Trump plans to do. As a member of President Trump’s Cabinet, Rollins wants us to know that she plans to Make Agriculture Great Again. MAGA will be her guiding principle, saving family farms and protecting farmlands from foreign ownership and control.

Next up is Oregon Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer, President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Labor. A member of three House committees and seven subcommittees, Chavez-DeRemer is a voice of clarity on education and investment. She is a powerful voice on the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions. She is also a voice of conscience on the border. She understands that job security starts with border security, that the two are one and the same. She understands that the biggest threat to high-paying jobs comes from illegals who take low-paying jobs. She understands that illegals will continue to breach the border, that they will continue to bring crime and drugs, unless we send them back. Never has a Republican been so pro-labor—as opposed to pro-labor union—as Chavez-DeRemer. Like Bondi and Rollins, Chavez-DeRemer is brilliant and bold and brave. Like all of President Trump’s nominees, Chavez-DeRemer is a fighter. She will fight for U.S. workers. She will fight to make the U.S. a great place in which to work, where manufacturing thrives and innovation flourishes.

Elise Stefanik is also a fighter, which is why she is President Trump’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. She has the Three Bs in abundance, in spite of her Harvard degree, because she is naturally brilliant and unapologetically bold and unflinchingly brave. She will bring these talents to the UN. She will bring moral clarity to an institution in need of it. She will bring her voice—steadfast and true—to an institution that would just as soon silence her. She will not allow our enemies to silence us. Nor will she allow President Trump’s enemies to silence him. As she said at the rally at Madison Square Garden, she stands with President Trump. She stands ready to fight against political witch hunts and corrupt judges.

Pam Bondi, Brooke Rollins, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Elise Stefanik—these are the women who fight for and alongside President Trump. These women fight for us.

We stand with these women. We stand with all who stand with President Trump.
