I don’t think this is helpful. If that’s what you’re thinking, keep it to yourself. T.R. said to “walk softly but carry a big stick”. If she continues after Trump is sworn-in, spring the trap without warning—not this way.
This is exactly the kind of attitude Republicans have needed, but never seem to channel after elections. For decades, Republicans have preferred to reach across the aisle to work with Democrats. When have Democrats EVER returned that consideration? Decades of expending precious time and goodwill removing the knives from their backs after Democrats have plotted and planned to take down every and any Republican who dared speak out, attempt to limit government or, God forbid, enforce constitutional order demands retribution. That traditional Republican attitude accounts for the erosion of rights, exploding debt and endless wars in which Americans have lost and the rest of the world has gained. That milquetoast mantra also accounts for numerous Republican losses.
On election day I thought and prayed for Matthew Perna and all of the other victims of illegal and unconstitutional Democrat-led witch hunts on January 6, 2021. I want heads to roll! I want justice for Matthew Perna and all of the other American citizens who have been ground underneath the jackbooted thugs in the Democrat Party! I want their lives ruined the same way they ruined others, so that no one, and I do mean NO ONE ever again attempts to imprison American citizens for exercising their rights.
Personally, and it shouldn’t surprise anyone that I agree strongly with Monsieur Davis wholeheartedly, I want to see a Republican slap these dangerously incompetent, threatening and embarrassingly stupid Democrats down. Show them how it’s done, Davis!
Don’t talk about it. Do it.
Although the smack talk by Mr. Davis is entertaining and certainly appreciated, I must still question if its wise to engage in such blunt threats. That’s not to say I would not welcome Mr. Davis actually carrying out his candid warnings, but announcing it before hand in a bravado manner could make the Trump Administration look weak if they do not follow through.
And worse, it gives potential targets of Trump time to prepare a defense or strategy. Being unpredictable before making bold moves is what will bring Trump’s enemies to heel–both foreign and domestic.
