Progressive Statists believe in progress ‘by the creation of a massive bureaucracy’

Progressive Statists want to achieve “progress” through the “creation of a massive bureaucracy.”

So writes American Majority founder Ned Ryun in his forthcoming book, American Leviathan:

“If you boil down the essence of Progressive Statist thought, it comes to this: progress is to be achieved by the creation of a massive bureaucracy, completely separated from politics and political accountability, filled with an educated elite who are then to do the actual governing for the country. To loosely quote Wilson, this educated elite would consist of “the best boys from the best colleges,” who would be trained and educated in administration and applied science from a burgeoning series of colleges and universities.”

American Leviathan, released on September 17, 2024, can be found on the Encounter Books website and details the rise of Progressive Statism and an administrative state that led to the current state of the government in the 21st century.

The book also analyzes how a strengthened executive branch could undo the powers given to the administrative state.
