Venezuelan Illegal Alien Denied Access to DNC; Kamala’s Convention Is More Secure Than America’s Border

A Venezuelan migrant who attempted to gain access to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week was denied entry and turned away for not having acquired the proper credentials.

It’s an interesting contrast when the same party that is actively pushing for wide open national borders is serious enough about their own security to put up fences and require IDs and credentials in order to walk among them.

Steve Cortes took Edwin, a newly arrived migrant from Venezuela, to the United Center in Chicago to meet the Democrats, hear their speakers and learn about the party for himself.

What they found instead were fences, checkpoints and a strict process requiring an application in order to obtain credentials.

Those who might be tempted to dismiss this as a political stunt are likely missing the point that’s staring them in the face.

The rules are being applied selectively and to the advantage of Democratic Party elites.

When migrants like Edwin are allowed to enter the United States without official permission and credentials or submitting to the established legal process, it diminishes the efforts of those who do play by the rules.

When those who enter the U.S. illegally are encouraged to register as voters and to sign up for taxpayer-funded entitlements, it’s not exactly a secret that those new voters are being bought and paid for with government favors.

The DNC is more secure than the U.S. border, thanks to a hypocritical policy that works out well for Democratic politicians but at significant cost and risk to the American people that they claim to represent.
