Taliban Holds Military Parade Celebrating 3rd Anniversary of Biden’s Botched Withdrawal Showcasing Military Equipment Left Behind

The Taliban celebrated the third anniversary of its return to power on Wednesday with a massive military parade at Bagram Air Base showcasing the U.S. military equipment left behind by the Biden Regime.

When the U.S. military withdrew troops from Afghanistan, it abandoned $7 billion worth of equipment, including 73 aircraft and nearly 100 vehicles, helping the Taliban to become an air power in the region. Military equipment featured in the parade reportedly included U.S. helicopters, Humvees, and tanks.

During the mad scramble to evacuate the country, a suicide bomb detonated outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA), killing at least 183 people, including 170 Afghan civilians and 13 members of the United States military.

Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to the regime’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan as “the greatest embarrassment in U.S. history.”

“It’s a military defeat, it’s a psychological defeat,” Trump said in an telephone interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on August 26, 2021. The former president said the leaders of Russia, China, and North Korea were watching the debacle as it unfolded, and were laughing.

August 14 was declared a national holiday by the Taliban.

In an interview with CNN, Harris took credit for helping Biden make the decision to withdrawal.

“Joe Biden just made a really big decision—Afghanistan—were you the last person in the room?” CNN’s Dana Bash asked Harris at the time.

Harris responded: “Yes.”

When asked if she felt “comfortable” with the decision, Harris said “I do.”

Since the withdrawal, the country has been plagued by extreme poverty and government mistreatment of Afghan citizens, particularly women and girls.

Members of the Taliban Cabinet gave speeches aimed at an international audience, “lauding  achievements such as strengthening Islamic law and establishing a military system that provides ‘peace and security,'” Fox News reported.

Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir stated: “The Islamic Emirate has eliminated internal differences and expanded the scope of unity and cooperation in the country. No one will be allowed to interfere in our internal affairs, and Afghan soil will not be used against any country.”

Approximately 10,000 men took part in the festivities and zero women, as they were barred from attending.

“Remember, this is the result of what Kamala described as Biden’s ‘extraordinary courage,'” Rep. Dan Crenshaw (/R-Texas),  an Afghanistan War veteran, noted on X. “She said she was “the last person in the room” when Biden decided to pull all U.S. troops from Afghanistan.”

Crenshaw added, “Their horrendous withdrawal left behind $7 BILLION in military equipment, American citizens and their dependents, and cost 13 American service members their lives.

Terrorists parading American military equipment is burned into the Biden-Harris Administration’s legacy.”
