Quadruple-Boosted Joe Biden Tests Positive For COVID-19 For Third Time While Campaigning in Las Vegas

Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 for the third time on Wednesday while campaigning in Nevada.

Biden, 81, was tested for COVID following a radio interview with Univision in Las Vegas and an event at a local Mexican restaurant where he was photographed shaking hands with patrons and sitting down next to them.

From there, he was expected to speak at the annual conference of UnidosUS, a Latino advocacy group.

After attendees waited 90 minutes for Biden to appear, UnidosUS president Janet Murguía announced the diagnosis.

“I was just on the phone with President Biden. And he shared his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon. The president has been at many events as we all know and he just tested positive for Covid,” Murguía told attendees.

White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor said Biden “is experiencing mild symptoms” and has received his first dose of Pfizer’s oral antiviral Paxlovid.

“The President presented this afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms, to include rhinorhea (runny nose) and non-productive cough, with general mailaise,” a note from O’Conner said. “He felt okay for his first event of the day, but given that he was not feeling better, point of care testing for COVID-19 was conducted, and the results were positive for the COVID-19 virus.”

“Earlier today following his first event in Las Vegas, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He is vaccinated and boosted and he is experiencing mild symptoms,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.

“He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time. The White House will provide regular updates on the President’s status as he continues to carry out the full duties of the office while in isolation.”

Biden was reportedly tested for COVID after his disastrous June 27 debate against former President Donald Trump, which he blamed on having a cold, and jetlag.

Biden tested positive for COVID for the first time on July 23, 2022—the one year anniversary of the day he declared that vaccinated Americans could not get COVID-19. He tested positive for the coronavirus again on July 30, in a “rebound” case after taking Paxlovid.

Biden received his third booster shot in October of 2022 and his fourth COVID booster in September of 2023, bringing the total number of doses he’s received to six.

Biden said in a recent interview that he would only consider dropping out if he was diagnosed with a “medical condition” by doctors.

“If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem,” he said.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries reportedly met privately with Biden on Saturday in Rehoboth, Delaware. Following the meeting, Schumer told reporters it was a “good meeting.”

The two Democrat leaders are now pushing the Democrat party to delay its nominating process, ABC News reported Wednesday.

Update:

CNN’s Jeff Zeleny is reporting a senior Democratic adviser “believes the president is being less “defiant” and “more receptive” to calls for him to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

Biden, according to Zeleny, is now asking advisers if they “think Kamala can win” in November against Donald Trump.

Update (Thursday):

The New York Post’s Miranda Devine is reporting that a no-fly zone alert for pilots appeared a day before Biden announced that he has COVID.  The no-fly zone indicated that he was flying to his beach house in Rehoboth Wednesday night until Sunday night.

“In other words, this four-day recuperation was preplanned,” Devine wrote on X. “Coincidence? Did he know he had Covid when he flew to Nevada Wednesday and met people without a mask?”

  1. What great luck for Biden. There jus happen to be three covid tests left in the US and they located them so they could test Biden and cancel all future appearances.
