Trans-Identified Shooter Who Killed Both Parents in Utah Told Police He’d ‘Do It Again’

Collin Bailey, a 28-year-old male who identifies as female, was arrested in St. George, Utah, early Wednesday morning after he murdered both of his parents.

Bailey, who uses she/her pronouns and goes by “Mia,” admitted to shooting Gail and Joseph Bailey and told police he “would do it again.”

Police and local media are referring to Bailey as “Mia,” and using his preferred pronouns.

According to the police report, officers arrived on scene Tuesday, and found both of Bailey’s parents “covered in blood.”

After shooting his parents multiple times, Bailey admitted to going downstairs and terrorizing his brother and sister-in-law, who had locked themselves in a bedroom. Bailey told police he shot through the locked door, and didn’t care whether he had killed them or not.

Police said they found a small bullet hole in Bailey’s brother’s door.

The 28-year-old then reportedly went back upstairs to make sure his parents were dead.

“Mia further stated that she did not have remorse for her actions and that she would not change what she had done. Mia stated ‘I would do it again. I hate them,'” court documents said.

Early Wednesday morning, police located Bailey near a St. George park, according to court documents, and he allegedly pulled a gun from his waistband and held it to his head as he walked away from police. Then they reportedly lost sight of him.

Bailey eventually surrendered to police near the St. George Temple, police said.

He is being charged for seven counts of felony discharge of a firearm, three counts of aggravated murder, and one account of aggravated burglary.

Bailey is the same age as the Nashville trans school shooter who shot up a Christian school, killing three children and three members of the school’s staff.

Audrey Hale, who was shot dead by responding officers, appeared to harbor similar murderous rage toward her father, writing in her journal that she hated him and didn’t care if he died. “I WANT TO KILL YOU,” she wrote just a few weeks before her shooting rampage.

The double murder in Utah follows a series of disturbing transgender attacks in recent years.

In September of 2018, Snochia Moseley, a 26 year old man who they identified as female, shot and killed four people at a pharmaceuticals distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland.

In May of 2019, Alec McKinney, a then-17-year-old transgender student opened fire at at a Denver-area charter school, killing one student, and wounding eight others.

In March of 2023, Audrey “Aiden” Hale, a 28-year-old female who identified as male, went on a shooting rampage at the Christian Covenant School on March 27, 2023, killing three children and three members of the school’s staff before being shot dead by responding police.

Hale was motivated by an intense, murderous hatred of affluent, white (“cracker”) children, according to a leaked manifesto that was written in a spiral notebook.

In April of 2023, a transgender teenager in Colorado Springs allegedly made threats against various schools in the city, resulting in a first degree attempted murder charge and other related charges.

In January of 2024, a trans or nonbinary student opened fire at a high school in Perry, Iowa, hitting multiple people, before turning the gun on himself. Perry High School Principal Dan Marburger died as a result of his injuries.

In February of 2024, trans-identified shooter Genesse Ivonne Moreno (previously known as Jeffery Escalante) opened fire in a Texas church.

The story also comes amid a slew of news stories about drag queens committing sex crimes against children.

On TikTok last year, a transvestite who goes by the name “Tara” and who identifies as a “poly trans lesbian” threatened violence against women who object to biological males invading their public restrooms.  The individual urged fellow travelers to “arm up” to fight religious conservatives.

“We need to talk about the growing epidemic of trans violence!” said Libs of TikTok, who shared the most recent incident on X.

  1. It is one thing to allow hand the keys to the asylum to the inmates. As was done in the '60s. It is an order of magnitude beyond that to allow the most seriously warped to drive the social discourse.
