Did Dr. Anthony Fauci Commit Perjury During His House Testimony Last Monday?

For many of you, watching the Dr. Fauci House Subcommittee testimony last Monday was must-see TV. For others, it was just another example of partisan bickering over a topic that is now in our collective rearview mirror. It’s safe to say that partisans on both sides—especially Marjorie Taylor Greene for Republicans and Jamie Raskin for Democrats—didn’t cover themselves with glory. And while there were some pointed questions asked by Republicans, most failed to land a decisive knock-out punch.

During the same hearing last Monday, we watched one Democrat after another heap lavish praise on the diminutive tyrant who once claimed “I am science” before walking back that title. Especially egregious were several congressional Democrats like Jamie Raskin who wasted most of their allotted five minutes to question Fauci. They did not ask questions, rather they filibustered the process by puffing up his inflated ego, the worst of which was California Rep. Robert Garcia.

At the heart of last Monday’s s**t show in the House was Fauci’s involvement through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of back-channel funding of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The movement of funds from the National Institute of Health (NIH) through the EcoHealth Alliance and on to the Wuhan Institute of Virology was meticulously documented by Wolves and Finance commentator Zach De Gregorio in this post last Sunday, the day before Fauci testified before the House Subcommittee.

On Monday all during his testimony, in his best Sgt. Schultz impersonation, this sly and cunning weasel continually bobbed and weaved away from the few pointed questions posed to him by Republican inquisitors. This included exactly how Dr. David Morens, once Fauci’s top advisor (who Fauci threw under the bus), and Dr. Peter Daszak circumvented the FOIA process, covering up their activities by using non-government email accounts as well as Morens previously testifying that he deleted relevant emails.

The Congressional Republicans, with few exceptions like Dr. Rich McCormick (listen to Fauci boast on tape about making it hard for Americans to go to work, travel, get an education, and live their lives without being vaccinated during the pandemic), Dr. Ronny Jackson (detailing Fauci and his team of bureaucrats circumnavigate of the FOIA process), Nicole Malliotakis (about royalty payouts), and Jim Jordan (about the origins of the pandemic, meaning the lab-leak theory), clearly didn’t bring their A-game as they fell short of truly connecting the all the dots between Dr. Fauci, his subordinates and staff, outsiders like Dr. Peter Daszak at the EcoHealth Alliance, to indirectly funding research at the Wuhan lab and the pandemic that killed more than one million of our countryman and countless millions around the world. If Fauci didn’t commit perjury, he certainly came close to doing so which was pointed out last Monday by my American Greatness colleague, Debra Heine concerning the NIH’s indirect funding of the EcoHealth Alliance.

Also at the heart of Fauci’s testimony was his imposition of actions that later proved to be ineffective or even counter-productive. This included the pushing of untried, under-tested vaccines, the resulting vaccine mandates, and especially social distancing, which Fauci on Monday admitted wasn’t based on science. It just happened for reasons unknown, not backed by any clinical trial.

Concurrent to this was the stifling of alternative opinions, often with the direct complicity of the mainstream press and on social media, where Fauci’s critics like Sen. Rand Paul were censored and suspended by YouTube when it deleted his posts of Senate hearings where alternatives to the prevailing narrative that COVID spread via natural causes were discussed. Many critics were deplatformed, not only by YouTube but also by Facebook and especially Twitter under its previous management before its purchase by Elon Musk. Twitter’s former founder and CEO Jack Dorsey admitted, after the 2022 election, that Twitter wrongly suppressed alternative opinions, especially about the origin of the pandemic and the New York Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop story.

It should be noted that former President Trump instituted, as soon as the pandemic was identified in the spring of 2020, Operation Warp Speed. This initiative brought to market supposedly viable vaccines, just after the 2020 election was concluded. But we now know this could have been disclosed before the election, as early as mid-October 2020, despite denials by Pfizer who clearly preferred to see Trump defeated, in essence election interference. Would this have influenced the result of the 2020 election if the Trump Administration and President Trump were seen as responsible for the development of a viable vaccine? We will never know the answer to that question, just like we will never know if the suppression and blackout of the New York Post’s investigation of the Hunter Biden laptop would have influenced the results of the 2020 election. Some polls say that it would. Of course, we had spreaders of misinformation, specifically Democrat Vice President candidate Kamala Harris in the 2020 Vice Presidential debate, who said she would not take a vaccine developed by the Trump Administration.

American Greatness reached out to Sen. Rand Paul’s office last Tuesday, asking if he had anything to say about Fauci’s testimony on Monday. Senator Paul has been a long-time critic of Dr. Fauci’s handling of the pandemic response, getting into this heated confrontation back in 2022. His Communications Director, Madeline Meeker, pointed to his appearance last Monday night on Hannity when he had this to say. Last Tuesday, on The Hill’s Rising podcast, Senator Paul took off the gloves, encouraging the House subcommittee to bring back Dr. Morens, possibly with a grant of immunity to “correct the record” after Dr. Fauci’s testimony on Monday saying he hardly knew him.

Another person who is not afraid to call out Dr. Fauci is comedian Jimmy Dore. On his YouTube channel, Dore has held nothing back either. It should be noted that Dore, who has a huge following on YouTube, has skin in the game as he suffered vaccine injuries himself and does better investigative journalism than almost all of the hacks in the mainstream media. In this clip, Dore debunks one Fauci claim and misstatement after another, especially the one where Fauci says he never advocated mandatory lockdowns.

Another commentator who held little back about Dr. Fauci’s lack of veracity is award-winning independent journalist Glenn Greenwald, who has been reporting on the COVID crisis since the inception of the pandemic. On his Rumble channel last Monday, he documented how Fauci had misled the public. Last Tuesday Greenwald repeated his charges on his widely distributed YouTube channel. Greenwald followed up with Senator Paul in a second interview last Thursday that went into greater detail on both the gain-of-function and the lab-leak origins of the pandemic. Then yesterday, Greenwald highligted Fauci’s involvement in inhumane, torturous medical testing on helpless, trusting beagles, outsourced through the NIAID through the NIA to Tunisia, that was brought to light by MTG during the testimony. It should revolt any dog-lover, Republican or Democrat.

When taken in their totality, especially in the aftermath of Fauci’s testimony last Monday, it seems necessary that with his vague statements, especially about back-channel communications to circumvent FOIA regulations, all the major players should be investigated further for evading FOIA requirements, financially benefiting from the development of the COVID vaccines, and especially for lying to Congress. That’s not likely to happen until after the November elections, if at all. Democrats, especially in the Senate, will drag their feet as they continue to run cover for Fauci, Morens, Daszak, and many others.

What is it called when you lie while under oath in front of a House subcommittee? It’s called perjury. The question that begs to be asked four days later is: why hasn’t Dr. Fauci been charged with lying to Congress? It’s clear that he did and it’s not his first time (specifically to Senator Rand Paul in 2022). And if he lied about the very foundation of the pandemic, what else has he lied about? Can any of our elected representatives get Fauci to answer this simple question?

But let’s consider if the Senate flips red in November and the investigating committees are chaired by a real doctor, say, Dr. Rand Paul, rather than Democrat stooges like Sen. Dick Durbin (who is co-sponsoring a banking bill opposed by most Americans that will strip you of your credit card rewards). Or even better, if Rand Paul or a real Conservative Republican (not a wishy-washy RINO) like Sen. John Kennedy becomes the Senate Majority Leader, replacing Chuck Schumer. Then we can get to the source of the pandemic, question and possibly prosecute those who have subsequently lied and covered up their roles, and see that it never happens again.
