Students Turn Their Backs on Biden During Graduation Ceremony

On Sunday, while Joe Biden was giving a commencement address at Martin Luther King Jr.’s alma mater, several students were seen visibly turning their backs on him while he spoke.

As reported by Breitbart, multiple students were photographed turning away from Biden as he gave the commencement address at Morehouse College. One of the students was seen raising his fist in the air, while another wore a keffiyeh scarf, a garment often associated with supporters of the Islamic terrorist group Hamas; the keffiyeh has become a common feature of many of the anti-Semitic and anti-American protests that have plagued college campuses in recent months.

During his speech, Biden acknowledged the ongoing protests and once again attempted to placate the anti-Israel voices, addressing the “humanitarian crisis in Gaza” and calling for an “immediate ceasefire.”

“I support peaceful, non-violent protest,” Biden continued. “Your voices should be heard. And I promise you, I hear them.”

Biden was also seen applauding when valedictorian DeAngela Fletcher called for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” during his speech.

Biden’s speech was widely seen as an effort to reach out to young black voters, one of the many key demographics of the Left’s political coalition with which Biden is losing support. Recent polls have indicated that his support among black Americans has plummeted significantly compared to 2020, particularly with regards to younger black voters.

In a TIPP poll released on May 6th, Biden saw a staggering 28% drop in his black support compared to 2020; by contrast, former President Donald Trump slightly increased his black support by 3%. Another poll by the New York Times showed Trump winning as much as 20% of black voters, which would mark the highest percentage of black voters for a Republican candidate in modern history.
