Crowder: ‘None of the Seven Nashville Officers Placed on Administrative Leave Is Our Source’

Seven Nashville police officers were reportedly placed on “administrative assignment” Wednesday amid an investigation into the leak of several pages of the trans school shooter’s Marxist, anti-white manifesto. However, according to the conservative journalist who released the documents, none of the seven is his source.

“Our whistleblower is as safe as in his mother’s arms,” “Louder With Crowder” host Steven Crowder declared Wednesday evening.

Audrey “Aiden” Hale, 28, targeted the Christian Covenant School on March 27, 2023, killing three children and three members of the school’s staff before being shot dead by responding officers.

On Monday, Crowder released what he said were three digital images of Hale’s writings before and on the day of the shooting.

“Wanna kill all you little crackers!!! Bunch of little faggots w/ your white privileges f—k you faggots,” she allegedly wrote in a spiral notebook.

Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell (D) immediately launched an investigation to find out who leaked the manifesto. “I am deeply concerned with the safety, security and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillans we are grieving,” he said on Monday.

Nashville Police Chief John Drake also came out with a strong statement condemning the leak.

“I am greatly disturbed by today’s unauthorized release of three pages of writings from the Covenant shooter,” Drake said Monday. “This police department is extremely serious about the investigation to identify the person responsible.”

“This action showed a total disregard for Covenant families, as well as the court system, which has control of the shooter’s journals at the present time due to litigation filed earlier this year,” he added.

A spokesman for the Metro Nashville Police Department said Wednesday that the officers were placed on administrative assignment to “protect the integrity of the active, progressing investigation.”

But according to Crowder, none of the seven officers placed on administrative leave is his source.

“Let me keep this simple because the Left wants to intimidate whistleblowers in the future, to prevent more leaks like the #NashvilleManifesto,” Crowder wrote on X.

“They put seven people on leave and they messed up!” Crowder exclaimed.

The names of the seven officers have not been released, although they still have “full police power” and the assignments are “absolutely non-punitive,” the police spokesman said, adding that the officers “are available to assist in the ongoing investigation as needed.”

A spokesperson for the Mayor said they were “aware” of the latest development, but did not comment further.

According to court filings, the shooter left behind at least 20 journals, a suicide note and a memoir. Until this week, however, none of the writings had seen the light of day due to a legal battle over whether or not they should be made public.

Nashville police initially said they would release the documents but only after an investigation was officially closed, which could have taken months. In response, groups seeking the documents filed a lawsuit arguing that since the suspect was dead, they should be released immediately.

That lawsuit is ongoing, with many of the families saying publication of the documents would cause more pain and possibly spark copycats.

The three children killed in the shooting were Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all 9 years old. The three adults were Katherine Koonce, 60, the head of the school, custodian Mike Hill, 61, and 61-year-old substitute teacher Cynthia Peak.

The manifesto is still under court order to be kept private.
