Quite simply, that falls under the Takings section of the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution, “…nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation”. That’s how I’d argue this so-called Tax which is neither General (applies to ALL property transfers), nor fair. Believe it or not, even Taxation has limits Chicago!

Let’s not reinforce the notion that anything resembling a “voter” exists in that city. There are citizens, and there are non-citizens. Citizens get to vote based on the parameters within age and mental competency. Chicago having violated citizens’ constitutional rights more than it has guaranteed them has now lost any legitimacy as a “local government”.

Chicago is long overdue for a beatdown!

  2. " Programs" for the homeless meaning most new revenue goes to the new bureaucracy that run the programs

Don’t you find it telling that the U.S. has spent $16 trillion since Johnson’s “Great Society” initiative “fighting” poverty and it has not changed the percentage of our society in poverty? Perhaps that is why so many Democrats feel the need to import the impoverished?

  4. Look at all the things in our country that are just business models that need to keep their mission alive, to keep the money flowing.

Example - if anyone were to “cure” racism, an entire industry would be unnecessary. We wouldn’t need DEI, probably HR in most companies - what would these grifters do if they had to find real jobs?

It’s the same thing with poverty. With all the taxes we pay and yet poverty is probably worse now that we’re bringing in 8 million illegals.

War is just another endless business venture for these people. Create a war when politics is getting tough - throw money at it.
