  1. As long as the Biden Administration and the apparatus of the federal government continues with the fiction that the borders are not open, the numbers of illegal aliens in major blue cities and major blue states will continue unabated. Joe Biden’s latest scheme----Remain in Texas, will fail of course. Greg Abbot has already indicated the bussing will continue until morale improves.

For years, Democrats and their media fellow travelers maintained the fiction that there were only eleven million illegal aliens in the United States. They did this beginning in the early 2,000s and kept it up all the way through the Trump Administration. I remember that sometime back in 2017 some independent reports pegged that number at 29 million. Since 2020, that total has grown another 6 million even with Biden Administration claims that nearly 2 million were deported back to Mexico.

Many are single men, but many also, are families with young children. Twenty thousand new illegal alien children entering the New York public school system is nothing to sneeze at. So, just as masking and zooming from home destroyed the chances of schoolchildren to gain an adequate education, the lack of classroom space and bi-lingual teachers is only going to make the education crisis worse. And more money will not solve the problem.

I would like to laugh at Eric Adams and the irony between his stance at the beginning of this crises to his stance now, but I can’t. Laughing wouldn’t fix anything. It would be like laughing at the true believer foot soldier who, too late, realizes the enemy has greater numbers and better equipment while his incompetent and uncaring superiors order him to take the hill without ammunition. His defeat (and probable death) is also our defeat.
